I've got a gorgeous princess-esque gown from LVS KIDS to show you today. As you all probably know the only time I'll wear flexi or non mesh clothing is for gowns and costumes.. they have to really catch my eye to make me want them too. That was the case with this gown called "Fairy Tale Dreams" from LVS KIDS and it definitely has made me feel like I was in a fairy tale. The skirt portion of the outfit is resizable too, so it's perfect for baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. It comes with shoes too, though they are hidden by the length of the gown. Awesome gown for your Princess roleplays.. or even as a formal dress.. or even a potential bridesmaids dress.. or even.. yeah, yeah, you get the picture!

I accessorised with a lovely scepter from a gatcha at Winter Ravens, but the store is going to be closing down soon.. so I'd grab things you like from there before it does. I'm really hoping it's only going so she can reopen for bigger and better things.. or for a fresh start. It makes me sad when good creators up and leave.

If you haven't noticed, a lot of my pictures have been taken away from my home sim lately.. I felt that I had over-used my surroundings just a touch.. so today I travelled to an incredibly beautiful sim called "The Sanctuary by the sea" to take this picture. It's amazing there, I highly recommend a visit and it is an awesome place to take fantastic pictures. Definitely a place that I'd revisit in the future.

♥ Goodbye to The Courtyard ♥

The Courtyard sadly came to a close, but at least it went out in style with a Princess themed party. I am really sad to see The Courtyard close, I know how much work Miss Libby Farleigh and my mummy put in to try to make it successful. I think they tried their hardest and it is truly gutting to see it go. It was one of those awful situations where I could see it happening and yet powerless to do anything to stop it. I tell you what though if someone dares complain to me that there is nothing for kids to do in Second Life I will probably lose it.. since The Courtyard was there and nobody came! The reason it closed was due to lack of interest.. which I don't understand at all, kids are always complaining they wish there was more out there for them.. it's done and nobody shows up. Sorry, I think I needed that mini rant! At least Brownies will still be running though (Yay!) and it will be running on my mummy's land. There will be no fee to join too (except for the uniform) so hopefully that might encourage new members to come give it a go. Fingers crossed!

For the closing party I wore this very pretty "Aurora" inspired dress from tinyOWL. I absolutely love tinyOWL gowns.. and although they're not mesh (and I usually dispise system clothing) they are the most sparkly pretty princess gowns out there for ToddleeDoo's. I hope tinyOWL comes out with some more dresses soon.. because I think I nearly own all of them now. 

The hair I'm wearing is called "Posy" and is from Truth and although it's rigged I think we can get away with it. The back of it goes up into a ponytail and despite coming away from the body a little it looks as if it's meant to be like that. I did, however, notice that my sister who is a kid ToddleeDoo didn't have a gap as big as mine.. so maybe the slight size difference helps. It still looks ridiculously cute though. I recommend trying the demo on first before buying so you can see what I mean.

Oh, I'm wearing a new skin too. I saw it and fell in love with it. It's from Bad Seed Boutique.. I think my skin choices are getting paler and paler.. pretty soon I'm going to be see-through. I tried on all the demos in there and the lovely Eeilee (owner of Bad Seed Boutique) was on hand and very helpful while I was there too. 

Also, I totally dared River to blog his dress he wore for the Princess party and he kept up his end of the bargain.. so I thought I'd blog mine too.

So, I'm laying in bed after having watched a movie (Bad Neighbours in case anyone cared as to what movie it was) anyways, so I'm laying there trying to sleep and in the glow of my laptop screen I can see something flying towards me.. suddenly I'm attacked by a giant crane fly! I shriek and jump out of bed.. which I immediately regret because of my broken toe. After swearing for a few minutes I hop out of the room and grab my cat.. who then hunts down the crane fly and eats it. Good boy. I love my cat.. he eats bugs, it's great. Crane flies are his fave, followed by moths.. he eats spiders too but only the smaller ones. So, now he's on the bed with me on the look out for a moth.. just before eating the crane fly he was chasing a moth around and it got away..

Anyways, bottom line of that story was.. now I'm super freaked out and can't sleep, so I decided to blog. I hate all kinds of insects.. it was bad enough yesterday when I was playing Family Guy on my tablet and suddenly a massive spider comes from around the back of the tablet and puts one of its legs on the screen! I shout and drop it immediately.. goodness knows how long I'd been holding it while that thing had been just chilling on it, I dread to think.. and since I'm a total wuss and dropped it, I have no idea where the spider is now.. hopefully my cat has eaten it. 

Now I got that drama out of the way onto the outfit! I'm rocking a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles look today.. specifically, the character, Leonardo. This look is from SprinklyWinks and made up of items you can grab from the Bro I Gatcha event. You can even get the skateboard, which rocks.. I love the animation in it. You can either get this version (which is rideable and dinky in size) or one that isn't rideable and is meant for decoration.

I finished off my look with some turtle related accessories, including this epic Turtle Backpack from Tic Tot Toe. It really looks like a proper shell and it has a resize script in it so you can make it as big or small as you like. Cowabunga!

Quick post (second of the evening) before I head to bed.. at.. umm.. 5:30am. I just wasn't tired! Don't judge me!

Anyways, I wore this to a friends rez day party the other day and I put it together as an outfit and decided to blog it too. This dress is from Heffalumps, it comes with shoes, a hair bow (not pictured) and the dress even has a pretty bow on the back. It also comes in blue if pink isn't your thing. It's very pretty and I'm in love with the folds on the texture.

Did everyone manage to get what they wanted from Limited 50? I am absolutely gutted that I forgot about it. I really wanted the cow slippers from Snips & Snails too because they looked epic. Is it just me or is there a severe lack of beforehand notice about Limited 50? It's like if you blink, you miss it. I need more warning people! Like a countdown or notice spam the week leading up to it.. lol.. with all the events going around I always forget. I guess I could just write down when all these events start, but I'll probably forget that too. I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on I swear.

Originally my mummy got me this outfit for a wedding in the family, but since I didn't go it just sat in my inventory.. then I got invited to my friends parents wedding, so I busted out this outfit from the confines of my messy inventory.

The wedding was really nice and they even did a Michael Jackson flash mob dance thing, which was really awesome.
