♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 5 - Part 4 ♥

Slowly getting through my Hello Beautiful posts! Thought I'd take a break from my cats 4th birthday to blog some more. I can't believe my fur baby is 4 years old now.. they grow up so fast! -tear- Yes, I am a crazy cat lady. Moving on.

I'm in a freckle frenzy today.. wearing some cute freckles from Tic Tot Toe. These are available at this round of Hello Beautiful. They even work with mesh heads! Bonus. There are three types too.. light, medium and dark.. and you can even get ones with blush. A must have if you want freckles and the skin you love doesn't come with them.

How adorable is this pacifier from Petite Bowtique? It's the RARE Princess one from the gatcha at Hello Beautiful. It's pink and girly.. and has sparkly particles. There are tons of different ones to collect. 

I'm wearing glittery nails from Enchanted Bowtique called "Pixie dust" these ones are rare. The rare one you get all the colours. These are available at Hello Beautiful too.

My mummy got me this fantastic bedroom set from Sugar & Spice. It's at the Woodlands right now.. you can get the full set for 750 lindens. This is just part of the set that you can see.. it's a really adorable set.

♥ Raining Hearts ♥

Hello everyone!

Well, it's been an uneventful few days for me really.. so I haven't got that much to talk about. I had a wicked migraine yesterday that left me bedridden for the whole day! I didn't even log onto SL, which is so unlike me. I'm okay though, feeling much better today! I seem to have days where I'm absolutely fine and then the next I'm really ill with something or other.. story of my life! lol

Anyways, today I grabbed my awesome friend Taylor to come pose with me. I didn't really ask either.. I just went, "Taylor, log on and pose with me!" true story. Thankfully he did and the results are super cute. He won't disclose what he's wearing though, sorry. He said he's a ninja and ninjas never tell what they have on.. but I list all my stuff!

I'm wearing a fabulous skin applier from Bad Seed Boutique again. This one is called "Molly" and the tone I'm wearing is the pale tone, but it does come in peach too. Like the other appliers from Bad Seed Boutique there are several options on the HUD to choose from (Picture at the end of the HUD) so you can change it up a bit. I'm wearing the mesh head "Steady" from Cute Bytes again.. it's adorable. I'm really loving these appliers for mesh heads.. it brings a whole new look to the head and stops everyone from looking the same. These appliers have even made people ask if I got a new shape or a new head.. some people didn't even know I had a mesh head on at all and just thought I'd changed my shape up a bit. I think I might have converted a few people to mesh heads because of how adorable these skin appliers are.

My outfit is from That's So Kyoot which I teamed with some cute tights from Turducken - this outfit seemed very appropriate for Valentines Day.. which is fast approaching! 
I don't have any plans in real life as my fiancee is going away tomorrow until Tuesday.. so I'll be all by my lonesome! 
Since I've spent Valentines Day on Second Life sometimes, I learnt that my friends across the pond (America) even give gifts to their friends and not just their significant other. I find that very odd and it's not something that I do, but I appreciate others do it and thank my friends for any gifts they do give me.. but it's really not necessary! 

The hair I have on is "My Love Hair" from Tableau Vivant, which I had no problems fitting to my head. I saw it at this round of Collabor88 and knew immediately that I had to have it. So cute!

♥ My lullaby, hung out to dry.. ♥

Wow, third and last post of the day.. can't believe I've managed it despite still having a killer headache, but I refuse to let it stop me from doing things I love.. like blogging. It's put things I love on the back burner for too long already.. so.. uh.. I just found some random anti-biotics I had kicking around from the beginning of last year and took one, just in case my headaches are caused by some kind of infection. I know, I know, but I was desperate! Here's hoping they fix me.

Anyways, I love this pretty floral dress and tights set from Little Nerds, it's so girly and cute. It comes with both sizes of ToddleeDoo dresses and a HUD, of course, for the tights. I'm all over any excuse to be extra girly... it's funny because one minute I'm totally a tomboy with cuts and unisex clothing on and the next I'm cooing over something pink and frilly. I guess that's something that I enjoy, I don't have a set style and am willing to try out anything.. it's fun to play with looks. 

I love this song by Natalie Imbruglia (that I've linked to at the end of this post).. it was in my head while I took this picture and it reminds me of times past and the emotions I was feeling when I first encountered this song. Not necessarily good emotions, might I add.. but it does makes me remember the vulnerability I had at the time. It's good to stir up past emotions sometimes and songs can provoke memories and be quite powerful I find. 

A lot of songs I can tie to a particular event or moment in my life.. it's weird how that happens. It's like one song "Red Alert" by Basement Jaxx will forever remind me of being on a ride at a funfair terrified out of my mind. I was just a terrified 13 year old with 3 other friends of similar age and we were in this cage, rocking it back and forth trying to get it to go over the bar. Hard to explain how the ride was.. but it was terrifying that it was going to go upside down with us in it and that was the object of the ride.. to all push it to go over! My friends were all trying hard to make it go over, me being the wuss of the group didn't want it to.. so wasn't trying as hard. Anyways.. that song was blasting out at the time and now whenever I hear it I'm transported back into that cage (in my mind) and I re-live the terror all over again. -Shudders- It's a good tune though!

Right, I'm off to watch some more Netflix.. I think I've worked hard enough today and deserve a break. Thanks for reading my rambles, you all rock! ♥

♥ Dolled Up ♥

Today I am wearing a really pretty vintage dress from Little Nerds. It's textured really nicely and comes with a matching headband, available for both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. So frickin' adorable! A must have dress for your inventory.. (I nearly said wardrobe..)

I'm standing in front of a dollhouse from Apple Fall.. found at this round of The Arcade. I really wanted it, however, I wasn't interested in any of the other stuff in the machine.. so I was over the moon when my mummy got it and put it out in the house. It might not be mine, but I still get to enjoy it too!

*Warning upcoming real life stuff.. skip this paragraph if you don't care!* 
I'm up late watching reruns of Intervention (an American show about individuals struggling with addiction [actually think Canada has a version too] ) I think I decided to watch some of them after my mummy and I had a heart to heart on voice earlier this evening in hopes of making me feel a bit better. I got all teary talking to my mummy earlier and I guess I was looking for some sort of hope that life does get better. I just finished one that had me in tears again because I related to it a lot.. sometimes I'm a glutton for punishment. Ever watch a movie because you know you'll cry? I do.. it's good to let it all out and sometimes it needs to be triggered by something. I also showed my mummy a real life photo of me, which is not something I do very often.. it's a huge deal for me because of how I feel about myself, so I feel like I accomplished something. A very emotionally draining day all around.

On a happier note, I did my nails as Hello Kitty in real life.. and they look adorable. My new thing is decorating my nails in real life.. which makes me laugh considering most of my Second Life creations are nails for ToddleeDoo's or nails for Slink hands and feet. There is no escaping nails! Mwahahahaha... or something.

Oh, Collabor88 started up again.. on the 8th. It was surprisingly easy to get in this time, I wasn't told the region was full a bunch of times, yay! My mummy and I went and checked it out earlier on this evening. I picked up a couple of bits.. no doubt they'll be shown off here at some point very soon.

Anyways, I've rambled enough.. look at my pixel adorableness.

♥ If I could save all the animals ♥

If I could save all the animals, I totally would. I'm a sucker for animals.. I find myself getting really upset when bad things happen to them.. so when I saw these piggies from Birdy all bundled up in a gatcha machine at this round of Chapter Four I just knew I had to rescue them and bust them out of their gatcha confines!

I'm wearing this adorable little "Fairy Princess" outfit from LVS KIDS while rescuing these cute piggies. The outfit comes with a cute top, shorts and jellies. It's very pretty, nicely textured, with lots of different fairies on it! Not only does it come in baby size, it comes in kid size too and the jellies are resize script enabled.. bonus!

In other news, I was playing Sims 4 all day today.. and I'm still not totally sold on it, but I did get to build a rocket and send a sim to space.. which was pretty nifty and amused me when he came back with alien parts.

Last night I watched a video that someone linked on their facebook that made me think.. it was a documentary on Second Life (it was really dated though!) Anyway, there was a lady on there who was spending all her time with this one guy in Second Life.. and ignoring her real life husband and children. It made me kinda sad, for her husband and her kids.. but most of all sad for the fact that I related to her.. although I don't have children and I'm engaged in real life, I could understand the needing to escape and how much better things are in Second Life.. and how easy it is to get absorbed and ignore everything else that's going on around you. Made me think a lot. I've had my fiance say to me before, "It's like your computer is more important than me and our cat" - well, actually.. he didn't exactly say that.. he said (while speaking to the cat, but in earshot of me) "It's like mummy thinks the computer is more important than us.." Yes, our cat is our child.. don't judge us! LOL. Anyways, a lot of it hit home and although I'm not cheating on him with anyone in the game like these people are.. ♥ When it rains, it pours.. ♥

Got two events to tell you about today:

The first is Dream Garden, where this awesomely a-freakin-dorable outfit from Heffalumps can be found. It comes with the jumper, denim shorts, frog boots, hair bows, scarf and two bracelets. I love complete outfits like that. 
Dream Garden also offers a lot of other cute items.. so be sure to go take a peek!

Just One50 Event is the other event I wanted to mention.. there's awesome items to be found and some of them are limited.. but as the name of the title suggests.. everything is 150 lindens. Pretty good price for an item that only has 60 copies or so. Worth checking out!

Anyway, the title "When it rains, it pours.." pretty much sums up how I feel today. Y'know when you wake up and think.. "Why did I get up?" I'm having one of those days. I woke up extremely late.. to cat vomit in the kitchen.. I then had a bath and as I was laying in the bath with the door open (cos that's what I have to do or my cat will claw the door down until he's allowed in) Anyways, so I'm laying there.. relaxing.. and then my cat walks into the hallway and starts retching.. and then vomit all over the hallway too. Lovely. After my bath I spent time trying to get cat puke out of the carpet.. which is easier said than done when there's lovely chunks of his cat food in it. 

I had so much planned today and now I'm just sitting here watching my sleeping kitty, hoping he's okay.. I think maybe it's time to get him looked over by a vet. It's becoming a regular occurrence this being sick thing. At least twice a month there is sick now. Soon as my fiance is home, I'm gonna suggest we take him to get checked out.. make sure there's no underlying cause for his sickness. It could just be he ate his food too fast, or he ate something he isn't meant to.. but I'd like to be certain. Google even tried to reassure me that some cats are just sicky and not to panic, but he's my furry baby and I'm worried.

Short and sweet post today.. a very cute outfit from Little Nerds to show you. The name of it made me smile, "Little Tinker" and that's purely because "Tinker" is part of my mummy's name.. anyway, the outfit comes with two tops (baby and kid) hair band with bow and the leggings HUD. 

I got The Sims 4 today.. played on it a bit.. need some more time with it I think, but so far I've been disappointed. Hoping it gets better as the expansions come out..

♥ Counting down the hours until The Arcade opens ♥

I'm super excited for The Arcade, so much so that I'm sitting here watching the clock.. counting the hours, the minutes, the seconds.. wondering if I'll pull an all-nighter to stay awake for it to open.. or whether I should get a couple of hours sleep and set an alarm to get up for it. I'm just so excited!

So.. I'm sitting here watching these awesome  Diver Clock Lamps from Plethora waiting patiently for it to open. These clocks are so epic, not only do they look ridiculously cute but they turn on and emit light with a simple click.. or a simple "rage-click" as the lovely owner of Plethora told us. They come in Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink and White.. I'm sitting in front of all of them actually. Naturally pink is my fave one! They are 100 lindens each or 500 lindens for the entire pack.

♥ Puzzle ♥

That's right.. puzzle.. as in.. I am a puzzle. That and the fact that I couldn't think of a title for this post, instead I pulled inspiration from my surroundings.. aka.. the jigsaw puzzle on the floor. This is probably the last post I will be doing in this house, since we are moving to a bigger area. Goodbye little council flat that we had in the sky.. hello big land.. how I have missed you. It even means I got to rez out my new treehouse from Snips & Snails, found at The Arcade. I'll be definitely blogging that at the next given opportunity.

Anyway, I have another pieced together outfit to show you today. The top is from Minuet.. not even sure what event I got this from now, as it was a while ago, but it's pretty. The skirt is from Soken Kids and is just super cute. I love the pattern on it! The shoes are from That's So Kyoot, from this round of Woodland Gatcha. The tights came from Inner Peace.. another event item from a while ago.. they're very pretty and sparkly. The panda ice cream I'm hiding behind is from this round of The Arcade. Yay! Pandas! I've never met anyone that has told me they dislike them.. they either like them, or are indifferent. I could go on, instead I'll let you read the credits.

♥ Flower Power Cutie ♥

Oh my goodness! It's The Arcade again soon! I am so excited and I can't wait.. the shopping guide looks awesome. So much I want.. I tried to price it all up and my brain just about exploded.. I want too much there. Far too many awesome goodies for my brain to comprehend in one round. 

My SL mummy goes on holiday tomorrow, so I'm a bit sad that I'm not going to see her for a week.. and she'll not be around for the start of The Arcade.. but I'm happy for her too, she deserves a holiday. I hope she has a good time and any one else who is due to go on holiday soon.

Awwdorable is all set up at All The Little Things event (among some amazing kids designers) so go hit up those stalls/gatchas too before you spend all your money at The Arcade!

♥ Read ♥

Hi, hi, my awesome readers!

So.. news first.. followed by outfit info.. the usual set up: 
 
Our holiday home just became our regular home and mummy and I started yet another project on another piece of land. Mummy we have issues with starting things and not finishing them! I hope this project gets going, because it's a pretty neat idea and I'm excited about it. 

Other news.. mummy is on trial with a mummy (so a grandma for me) and she is epic sauce. I hope she stays and becomes official. 

So many events are going on right now that my eyes nearly bugged out of my head today when I saw a whole bunch of new ones going on. Immediately I teleported my parents to Chapter Four and grabbed the goodies I wanted. Mummy ended up buying a bunch too. Then we went of to the Family Flea Market, where I got lots of stuff! After that I teleported my parents to The Mens Dept so my daddy could do some shopping too.. I already had the Bat Dog from there (see last post) and was there just to help clothe my daddy. The hoodies from Razor at The Mens Dept are so epic and I'm sad that they didn't have them in Toddleedoo size.. my mummy and daddy both got one each. After that I went off on my own to Sugar Falls ToddleeDoo Maket and grabbed a couple of outfits. I am now pooped after all that shopping.

Anyway, I am not showing off any of those goodies today as I need to sort through them... but.. this outfit is adorable. It's from That's So Kyoot and the book I'm holding is from the " Fit for a Princess " Event. I loved the book gatcha there, so this is just one of the many books I grabbed. The hair was from LoQ, found at The Dressing Room event. I couldn't believe it was so cheap and it was a fatpack.. better still, not rigged mesh and modifiable (both of which are must haves for mesh hair to fit us ToddleeDoo's!) Wish more hair creators provided a not rigged version alongside the rigged versions.. and made them mod, that would be awesome.

The Luck of the Irish gatcha was awesome and I picked up loads of goodies.. I got the memo way too late and luckily just managed to pick up all the goodies I wanted before it closed. I dunno why I hadn't heard of this one.. I'm usually so up on my events! I'm slacking! 

Don't you just love it when an outfit comes together? You throw things on and it somehow works.. that's what happened with this look. It works and I love it. The hair I just had to have from Ploom and it's super cute for us ToddleeDoo's. I'm not usually a ponytail fan either, but this one just was too cute to pass up on. This outfit is adorable and is one I picked up from That's So Kyoot's sale. The accessories are pretty much all from Luck of the Irish gatcha event. I'm such a cute quirky fairy in this.

I'm pretty sleepy, so I'm not gonna say much.. but I really like this outfit from That's So Kyoot. I didn't like the boots that came with it on me though, so, the boots you see in the picture are from Marmelade.

♥ Little Panda ♥

Yay, exciting news.. my parents got a holiday home on a roleplay sim. We now have our land with our house, the boat house, my mummy's work building (secret as she's not opened yet) and then we have my daddy's land with tigers, games, krafties area and my grandparents house.. and then we have our new home on this roleplay sim, a short walk from my Uncle Rich's house. 

My Uncle Rich (mummy's brother) is epic, even if he did have a mini freak out when I when he came home to a special drawing on his wall I did, lego all over the floor and a flooded bathroom. He made me clear it all up! How mean! I drew him a pretty picture and he made me scrub it off.. the lego everywhere was an accident, so was the bathroom flooding.. but.. nooooooooo I still had to clean it up while my Uncle, mummy and daddy all watched. Did they help? Nope! 

Oh, remember I said we were gonna trial with a little boy? Well, my mummy got a message from him and he said real life was too busy right now so he was sorry but he couldn't do it. Shame.. but the first teenager we had (that disappeared randomly and we just figured she didn't wanna trial with us) has come back and is trialing with her.. computer issues had seen her offline for a bit, but now we're gonna try again.

My mummy got two new awesome cars too.. we had fun driving round with me in my Sweet Baby car seat. Both cars are bright pink, which my daddy had a grumble at when he sat in it with us.. I think soon he might end up buying his own car and then there will be 3 in the driveway. 4 cars when Uncle Rich visits.. 5 or 6 if I put out my Sweet Baby Mini Coopers. I have one in red and one in pink. I think I might be a little bit spoilt having such an epic family, 3 sims we live on etc.. from rags to riches.. hopefully no more rags for this spoilt little Princess.

Anyway, That's So Kyoot had a moving sale.. so I rushed over there and picked up as much as my little arms could carry. This is "Little Panda" - I'm not wearing the hair bow, opted for a panda on my head instead.. y'know how it is. ♥ Snuggly Panda ♥

I haven't blogged That's So {Kyoot} in a little while. I almost forgot this outfit was in my inventory.. but it's so snuggly and cute looking.. plus, you know how much I love pandas. I often buy things I like when I see them and because I like to wear one outfit a day they tend to sit in my inventory waiting for their turn to be worn. Some people change multiple times a day (if I did this I'd never have any time for anything else and I'd be broke to boot) or other people wear the same outfit for weeks or months at a time! Daddy, I'm looking at you when I say that! Mummy and I just managed to get him to change his clothes after being in them since before Christmas.. I bet they were ripe! I think daddy gets annoyed at mummy and I always nitpicking, trying to get him to dress differently.. and tear him out of the outdated system clothes. There's really no excuse to not wear mesh if you have a mesh capable viewer.. there's plenty of decent free mesh clothing flooding the marketplace, either free or insanely cheap. I think the majority of men just are too lazy to change their clothing though. Mummy and I share the same love of shopping, I'm often told I'm a mini mummy. I think if I was blonde and had a skin tone more close to my mummy then it would be like the mini mummy looks wise too. 

Anyways, yesterday I had a day where I was anti-social. I didn't talk to anyone, nor care to. I was in a proper funk and just needed some me time.. I didn't even get online. I just stayed in bed, staring at the TV, watching sometimes and other times just staring at it while I was deep in thought. My thoughts can be very dark, so it was really hard not to listen to myself. I am my own worst enemy and critic. Today, however, I decided would be different. I had tons I needed to do around the house in real life.. as my recent funks had meant I'd not only neglected myself but my surroundings too. My house was looking as depressing as I've felt lately. I managed to pull myself out of bed earlier on, despite having hardly any sleep, have a bath and I even managed to get some things done. I still have a few things on my list to do, but it's definitely looking better. I need some funk be gone spray or something for those dark times. ♥

Well, my next project is fully under way.. so that's good. 

Today I got jabbed with a needle in real life for a blood test (well, technically yesterday now since it's gone midnight), so my arm is a bit sore.. so I'm gonna keep this brief. I know you probably get bored of my long winded rambles anyway.

So, this outfit is from That's So {Kyoot} and it really is cute. Another one of my fav stores at the moment. Can't get enough of it. I almost ended up being an official blogger for her, but we couldn't seem to get our schedules to line up in Second Life to talk about it. Sadness! Oh well, I'll just continue buying when I can and blogging the bits I manage to get.

Aren't the toy crates/boxes in the background just adorable? They're from BoOgers and I found them at Collabor88. I often forget about going there and sometimes miss out, but luckily this time I remembered to check to see what was there.

♥ Emo ♥

The Arcade is coming up soon, in like 14 days.. I'm super excited. 

I went to Limited 50 a little bit late and I couldn't get the outfit from Baby Pie as it was gone! Sadness! But I did manage to pick up some awesome boots from Marmelade. A few weren't even set up when I went.. so have to go back and see what is left, if anything!

That's So Kyoot had a sale, which was pretty exciting.. since I really love there at the moment.. I picked up a couple of things I liked. I also went over to Oh Daisies closing sale and picked up a couple of things too.. before it disappears forever!

These cute overalls are from Soken Kids. They might be "Emo" but I think I really rock them. I can't always be girly and wear pastels.. sometimes I want to express my dark side. I paired them with Baby Swag sneakers, which always come in handy when I need a shoe to fit a pants leg.. plus they're cute. I dunno why, but I felt like I needed to hold a pony.. sometimes you just do, right?

♥ Super awesome day for Super Girl ♥

Today was the best day I've ever had in Second Life.. and I owe it all to my mummy and daddy. I can say that now without hesitation since it was finalized today! 

[12:50] Make A Wish Adoption Panel: CONGRATULATIONS !! The TRIAL period is over and the ADOPTION is confirmed!

We knew this was coming so my very awesome parents set up a party for me. Mummy decorated a parcel just for this purpose. I was so nervous that nobody would show up, but thankfully a few people did and I thank you all for coming.. it was so much fun! We started things off with a game of greedy to break the ice, then we moved onto a story.. mummy read on voice "Pooh and Piglet go hunting" for us all. It was an awesome story! After the story we did the treasure hunt that mummy had done specially for the day. The clues were awesome and rhymed and took us some finding to get a couple, but with teamwork we did it! We all got a little goody bag at the end of it too. Yay. Then we all got our groove on over on the dance floor, with my awesome friend ZoZo spinning the tracks for us. We had some Disney mixes and then moved onto some awesome rock tunes. Thanks again, ZoZo! You rock! After we were all suitably pooped from that, most people disappeared.. and the party was winding down. ZoZo stayed and we all watched Monsters University in a special cinema mummy had constructed. The movie was pretty awesome too! Did I mention that I have the best parents in Second Life ever? If not, well, they are! Love you both so much and thank you again for the best day ever ♥

We all had awesome costumes on too. I was Super Girl, mummy was Wonder Woman and daddy was Batman! I let him be Batman for the day since I usually fill this role.. I don't care if Batman is a guy, he's the best and I am usually him! Today I felt like being generous and let my daddy take over, being Batman all the time is a job of work. Other costumes that made an appearance from other attendees to my party were: Merida (Brave), Queen of Hearts, a panda, an elephant, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Wood Cutter, Little Red Riding Hood, Maid Marion, Alice in Wonderland and later on my grandma and grandpa showed up in costume too.. my grandpa came as a bear! Rawr!

My parents then surprised me with my very own pony (specifically for toddleedoo avatars) and a wad of cash.. I am so spoilt!

All in all, I had the best day ever. Here's what I was wearing! I'd show you the pictures mummy took of the day, but I don't have permission from everyone that was involved to go ahead and post them.. and I don't want to impinge on any ones privacy. Thank you again everyone that came, you are all awesome. Hope you had a good time and thank you so much to my parents for giving me the best day I've ever had here. Love you both a whole ton! ♥
