♥ Zombified ♥

The Little Mermaid is my fav Disney film from my childhood. I was absolutely in love with it.. I wanted to be a mermaid and was so disappointed when I was told I couldn't actually be one. My first talent show my parents entered me into (I had pushy parents who were determined I'd have a singing career) was a song from The Little Mermaid "Part of your world" I was so nervous, it was my first time on stage and all the other kids were older than me. I had to get one of the older girls to zip my dress up because I couldn't do it. Anyways, I came second place.. first place was twin girls, I'm not even sure what their act was.. but I definitely remember it was twins and was annoyed that part of the reason I didn't come first was because I didn't have a twin.  My love of mermaids has stayed with me and my very first real life tattoo in fact was of a mermaid with red hair.. in homage to my love of the film. I think if I had my own private pool (where nobody could see me of course) I'd invest in one of those mermaid tails and attempt to swim in my pool with it.. or just lounge around by the side of the pool looking beautiful (well, sadly that part wouldn't happen.. more like a beached whale!) 

Anyway, when my friend ZoZo said she was doing zombie Disney outfits.. I was hoping there'd be an Ariel one and was super excited when she dropped this outfit on me. I had to show it to you guys.. even zombie Ariel looks awesome.

Another awesome event just opened up - Chapter Four. Mostly for grownups, but the odd piece will work for you. Including these super cute animals from Birdy/Alchemy. The gatcha is 100 lindens a go, but they are animated and so adorable. I managed to get two lambs, one bird (seen on my head) and one bunny. This outfit is actually from ZoZo's and taken outside her awesome store. Check out the cuteness and her store is all decorated up for Christmas. So awesome. As for the outfit, it's pink plaid and very cute.. it comes with a shoulder bag, or as my dad said, "a purse almost as big as you" Daddy's have no idea when it comes to fashion sometimes! It also comes with tights, a hairband and boots.

♥ Duvet Day ♥

Everyone all spent out from The Arcade and from the Woodland Treasures Gatcha event? I know I am.. I spent an atrocious 4k at The Arcade.. and I bought a lot of stuff I didn't even really want. I just got it because hey it's The Arcade. I feel a bit disgusted with myself at how much I spent when I could have probably just gone to yard sales and picked up the bits I actually really wanted. When will I ever learn?! I even parted with 1k at the Woodland Treasures Gatcha. No doubt I'll end up showing you what I got from both soon enough.

My mummy was just as bad as I was.. she tried to get me a panda hot water bottle and must have spent at least 1k trying for it.. she got every bottle but the one I wanted. Typical. We ended up setting up a gatcha sales room over at Bubbles Lane to sell off our duplicates and things we generally didn't want. If you want to check out our gatcha room, just type Bubbles Lane into search or Awwdorable and it's the store next to my mummy's "Oh! Couture" store and opposite ZoZo's. Lots for sale there, definitely go check it out.

Feeling a bit depressed today, had some bad news in real life which just left me feeling really low. I've not even bothered logging onto Second Life yet, luckily I already had this outfit lined up and ready to post.. having a hard job getting going today. I have so much to do and I've been in bed all day, it's now just gone 5pm here.. I have got to go and have a bath and start cleaning the house after I post this. I know that just laying here brewing in my misery is not helping.. and putting off all the things I need to do is making me more anxious and depressed.

Sometimes you just need to get warm and snuggle up in something comfy, like this cute romper from Baby Pie. Perfect for when you just want to have a "duvet day" - not sure what people in other parts of the world call them. Basically it's just a day where you don't move from your bed.. which is pretty much my life in real life right now.

So, I got it wrong.. Woodland Treasures Gatcha event starts on the 1st December, alongside The Arcade which also starts on the 1st December. I'm gonna be soooo beyond broke, it's not even funny. I've seen a few preview pictures on flickr of The Arcade goodies up for grabs and I've already seen so many things I want. I just need them to post the shopping guide so I can confirm this. lol

My mummy and I are still busy with our project, but it's coming together really nicely now. Looks epic and I'm really proud of everything so far. I'll be sure to post all the details when it's complete. Right now you'll have to deal with my cryptic-ness. Sorry! 

Christmas isn't that far away now.. and I'm getting pretty excited about it! I've not actually done anything to prepare for it yet though.. in Real Life or Second Life. I'll probably go into panic mode at some point and finally get it together.

Anyway, this outfit is from ZoZo's and because of my love of all things kitty related, I had to show you guys! It's pretty adorable and girly, with the pastel colours. There's a pink kitty on the front of the sweater, my lighting of this picture doesn't really show off it's awesomeness as much as I wanted it to.. but trust me, it's there!

♥ Exclusive NoddleBobber ♥

Yay! I've been zooming around my daddy's land full of tigers he breeds today on my awesome "NoddleBobber" motorbike from ZoZo's. I don't think the tigers have been too happy about it, but I've had a blast. I love the way the bikes from ZoZo's are designed and how good the scripts handle. Check out the awesome funky colours on this bike too. I like how there's a few sit poses in it for when it's stationary too, you can even recline on it! Pretty awesome. I needed a few pictures to show off it's full awesomeness. These bikes are pretty exclusive, only 10 being sold, but despite only so many being sold you don't pay any more than regular price. That's a pretty sweet deal there. Usually you pay through the nose for a limited item! Just another of the many reasons this bike is awesome sauce.

I've also never blogged PewDee Pie before, but today, I am gonna! Isn't this Security outfit just too cute? I even took off to my grandmas house in it for a surprise visit to check everything was secure. I burst in their house with my daddy yelling, "SECURITY!" and we found it was mostly secure, apart from the front door being open granting us access. I went upstairs to find my grandma and grandpa in bed sleeping! Daddy told me to jump on the bed, so I did. I started yelling, "THIS IS SECURITY! WAKE UP!" They didn't wake up.. so I farted.. and still nothing, they just lay there breathing it in. At this point, we decided they probably were AFK and our efforts were useless.. so we retreated, me being suitably satisfied that the area was reasonably secure. Later on, having completely forgotten I did that, I got a message from my grandma saying she just got back to the computer and read local chat as my daddy left a message apparently telling her to. Bahahaha. She was a bit sad that she didn't get to see my security outfit though, so here it is grandma.. enjoy! ♥

Guess what.....? 

ZoZo's is back! Yay! Back with a brand spanking new release only on marketplace called "PaPaony" It's super cute.. I love it! Great colour choices and very snuggly/warm looking and also very this time of the year.

I then accessorized with a hat from AV, found at the Heritage Gatcha event. The selection of hats in the gatcha is awesome, they're all so adorbs and as far as I can tell are all My Little Pony related.. you can't just have one. 

Sticking with the pony theme, I picked a few unicorn jewelry pieces (close enough!) Then to give it the awww-factor, completed the look with a huggable pillow from Little Closet.

♥ We're all a bit mad here.. ♥

Finally went along to the Ren Fair over at Heritage today, my trial mummy went with me. I had been meaning to go for a while and somehow kept putting it off. Quite a few cute things over there though, but was really irked by the steep prices. There's one dress over there that I absolutely love but it's almost 400 lindens and to me for a Toddleedoo dress that's just too much. It is super pretty though, so you never know I might end up caving and going back and getting it. I did pick up two dresses while I was there though and they weren't cheap either. No doubt I shall blog them soon.

I think it's back to hitting sales again though because some of the creators out there are starting to get all kinds of greedy. I've noticed this a lot lately, not just on regular items.. if any of you buy full perm mesh, then you'll know already that some of the prices they're asking are absolutely ridiculous. Unless you're a well established creator with a big following, you are never going to make your money back on some of those! It's not just limited to kids full perm stuff either, the grownups are just as bad. I get that for limited meshes you will be expected to pay a bit more.. but seriously? So over it. I'm going to quit ranting now, because it's so not going to achieve anything.. although it did make me feel marginally better.. so maybe it was worth it.

Went looking for family roleplay places today.. my family and I stopped by at Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory. That was really disappointing. It had so much potential to be awesome and we all left feeling sorta empty. There was no Oompa Loompas.. there were, however, what I can only describe as short noobs. There was no boat taking you along the chocolate river.. and everything you touched, near enough, tried to get you to buy it for obscene prices. The blueberry bush tried to get me to buy it for over 1k! Even the shop part outside was severely lacking. Definitely not somewhere I enjoyed going to. We also went by some Dark Alice in Wonderland themed sim.. I was actually hoping to take a picture there for this blog post, but it was just too dark and any windlight setting I used to make it look brighter just made everything else look terrible. It was an okay place though, I'm sad that the Wonderland I used to go to has now gone (I went to try to take a picture there and discovered the land had been cleared.. -sigh-) 

So, anyway, speaking of Alice in Wonderland.. this is an adorable costume from Candii Kitten. I added an extra necklace to it to give it that extra thing I thought it was lacking, but overall I love this costume. It was a bargain too! Great detail, the crown is a super cute touch and the face tattoo is awesome. My trial mummy almost had a heart attack though as she initially thought I had cut my eye until she zoomed in closer only to realise it was face paint. Sorry to my trial mummy for the mini heart attack!

Just had to blog about this cute outfit that my awesome friend Zoi (owner of ZoZo's) made called "Live". 

It really is super cute! It comes with a hat, bracelets, a necklace to nom, optional shorts or skirt, optional tights, half moon glasses, cute shirt and cardigan. It can be worn a few different ways, which is cool.. I'm only showing one way to wear it, but it can be quite versatile.
