♥ Day at the beach ♥

I've been so incredibly busy in real life with all things grownup and boring. I've been so stressed with it all and haven't been able to log into Second Life at all since my last post.. so I'm glad today I got a little time online.

I decided to go to the beach and look for seashells, because they're pretty and I thought it'd be a fun thing to do on my down time. Of course I had to look cute while on my beach adventure! I opted for an adorable swim set from ugly duckling, which is available at this round of La Boutique. There's less than a week left at this event, so if you've not been yet.. now is a good time to go before a new round starts. 

My pretty necklace and anklet are from ToddleTeeZ and they match! The necklace is available now at The Sidewalk Gacha event over on the NGI sim. I think the anklets are in store now, as they were a past event item.. but if you got any of those anklets these necklaces match them perfectly! Great time to get a matching set.

I got myself a new hair for my beach adventure too, called "RIN", which is from Argrace. It comes with a rigged and unrigged version.. and the unrigged works for us and shrinks down amazingly well. It is a pretty ponytail with a colour change headband.. I'm happy I grabbed it.

♥ Cool Cat ♥

I think I missed my calling as a boy blogger! It was so easy.. I usually have to edit so much on my pics as a girl - as a boy, I didn't have to do half as much. I didn't even have to mess with my eyelashes. Is it weird I think I make a decent boy?! 

Anyways, this epic boy look is courtesy of the following stores.. Bad Seed Boutique and ToddleTeeZ. Without them exploring my boy side wouldn't of happened, so thanks!

So.. I'm wearing an awesome skin and shape set from Bad Seed Boutique, called Bart. You can pick yours up at this current round of Hello Beautiful. It comes in a variety of different tones too! I'm wearing the peach one. I'm drawn to lighter skin tones lately (which is a lot different considering how tanned I used to be in the early days!) It has a few options included too.. everything from dimples, to freckles, to tears. The shape is completely modifiable too, so if you want to tweak it to suit you better then you can! I love that when you get a modifiable shape with a skin, because it gives you a chance to be a little different with your shape, cos not everyone wants to look the same, right? It's a must have skin and shape set for you boys! 

How cool are these "Cool Cat" outfits from ToddleTeeZ? If you're going to be a boy, be a stylish boy! I feel very cool and funky.. and like I totally own the sim I was taking these pictures on. Of course I don't actually own the sim I was on.. I just thought it looked pretty. Oh, wait.. trying to be a boy.. umm.. it looked.. umm.. good. Is that better? I'm not very good at this boy personality thing. Anyways, they come in blue, green, red and white.. I couldn't choose which one I liked best as I think I rock them all - so I'm showing all of them! Go over and grab them boys.. or for you girls who prefer a more tomboy-ish look then these would totally work! I personally think they're awesome and any little guy wearing these would be one cool dude in my book.

♥ Santas Elves ♥

With Christmas rapidly approaching I've got two adorable elf costumes to show you from Lil Big Me. What better outfits to run around with someone in and be mischievious little elves in than these. I love them! They fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars.. and come in two different versions: boy or girl. The green texture is particularly nice and looks really shiny.

The girl elf (aka me) is wearing a skin from Bad Seed Boutique, which is currently available to buy at Hello Beautiful. It comes in 3 other shades too.. and even comes with shape, eyes, brows, tattoo layers and eyelashes (not pictured) See this post here for a better look.

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 2 - Part 1 ♥

Hi everyone! It's the 1st of December! Can you believe it?! Soon be Christmas.. yay, it's so exciting.
I'm slacking a little on blogging and I apologise, it's this time of year I think.. just gets super crazy for everyone.  Lots of pictures and info in this post though, so hopefully that makes up for it a little! Don't forget to click the images to view them bigger.. and full credits (as always) at the very end of the post.

So, it's Round 2 of "Hello Beautiful" - the awesome event featuring skins, shapes, eyes, hair, tattoo layers, nails and anything else that can make your avatar as pretty/handsome as can be. This round it's all things wintery and I'll be showing off a few of the things up for grabs in this post.

Up first (in these three pictures) I have this adorable new shape, skin, eyelashes and eyes set from Bad Seed Boutique. It's called "Little Beauty" and comes in four different skin tones (milky, pale, peach and tan) I'm wearing the pale tone in these pictures. In the first picture I am wearing the teeth tattoo that's included (which is super cute) and in the second picture I'm wearing the teeth, pinched cheeks and tears tattoo (the tears pull on my heart strings because they are so nicely done) and in the third picture I'm wearing the teeth, pink lips and peach cheeks tattoos. I'm wearing the shape, eyes and eyelashes that come with it too, which are all just awesome. Grab your own version at this round of Hello Beautiful.

I'm wearing a lovely outfit from Lil Big Me called "Raine Dress" which is snuggly and warm and perfect for this time of year. It fits baby and kid ToddleeDoo's too (which is always a huge plus!) 
I teamed it with some old tights I had from .click. but you can wear it with or without your fave pair of tights.
Those kitty shoes are too precious! On the underside of them they have paws too.. adorable!

Up next (in these next six pictures) I'm rocking a limited shape, skin and eye sets from Purretes.. "Natalie" and "Nathan" - Yes boys, it would appear that you've not been forgotten! First up (in these first three pictures) I'm wearing "Natalie" which comes with alpha layers for your mouth so you can have your mouth open either a little (appropriately called little), a bit (called medium) or big.. (called big). You can find this limited set at Hello Beautiful.

I'm wearing a cute outfit from Heffalumps called "Candy" that fits baby ToddleeDoo avatars. It comes with an undershirt layer, pants layer, pant cuffs, boots and cardigan. I'm especially loving the boots, they are so nice. If you love everything sweet and delicious then this outfit is a winner.

 

 

 

Finally (for this blog post anyway) we have this limited "Nathan" skin, shape and eyes set from Purretes. I never usually feature boys stuff on my blog, but this was too hard not to.. I'm absolutely loving this set.. it's a great little set for boys. Look how handsome it is! You can get this at Hello Beautiful too!

I will be blogging more items from the Hello Beautiful event soon! I'm sorry it's not all in one post like last time but it's been pretty crazy for me and my usual organizational skills for these things took a back burner. I will get around to more though, I promise.

Got two pics in this post today.. featuring two cute outfits from Enchanted Bowtique. They are both cute and snuggly.. and they fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's, which is always a bonus! Hi everyone!

I've been really addicted to playing Krafties in world lately, so that's what I've been doing with my time mostly.. I'm slowly understanding more and more about how to play the game and get the most from it and thus my addiction grows stronger. Luckily my entire family seem to be addicted to playing on some level too, so it works out pretty nicely. My brother is my to go to guru for anything related to it, he's been playing since Krafties hit the grid and has been so awesome at helping me figure it all out.

We're both sporting awesome Soken Kids wear. The overalls my brother have on were actually a freebie, how awesome is that? Totally dig nicely made freebies, because too often the freebies people put out there end up straight in my trash can.
Yep, I'm wearing panda overalls.. I know, I know, how predictable of me? But they're seriously cute and go well with my shoulder panda I got at a gatcha at D Labs ages ago. I love how thick Soken meshes are, they don't look paper thin and flimsy like a lot of meshes do.. these ones have a nice bulk to them and look more durable (which is what you need with kids.. lol) 
We're also both wearing Baby Swag sneakers.. I'm in love with their sneakers at the moment and they work really well with Soken clothes, which is always a huge plus. It can be a pain to find shoes to compliment some meshes sometimes, so it's nice when you can just walk into a store and know somehow you can make it work. 

I experimented with this picture by using a blue filter to give it that colder feeling, blurring it slightly and attempting some weird artsy thing with the border. Not 100% sure if I like it or not.. I find experimentation can go one of two ways, either you pull off something utterly amazing and try to remember what combination of buttons/sliders you used.. or it's an epic fail. I'm not a very good judge at when it's awesome or when it's a fail, so I put it out there for you lovely people to decide.

♥ Simple kind of life ♥

I'm totally not ashamed to say I've just watched the entire series of "The Simple Life" with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. I know, I know, that's hot. For all of you rolling your eyes and thinking how could I watch such drivel, well, it's a good self esteem booster. They make me feel intelligent.. and it's pretty amusing to watch.. so win, win in my book. 

Anyway, that's where this title came from and this picture my brother took (AGAIN, yes, he's becoming quite the photographer) reminded me of that series. Specifically the first season. My outfit is a cute freebie I stumbled on at That's So Kyoot. It was a group gift, so go grab it! My brothers outfit is from Turducken, I thought it was just adorable.. and I had to go grab him a bit of wheat for his mouth from marketplace to complete the look. The pose is cute it's from a gatcha at Lil Moments found at the Fall Festival, it comes with the fence and there's even a cowboy hat perched on one end.. but you can't see that in this picture.
