I lost a family member in Second Life yesterday.. and it has kinda felt a bit like a death in a weird way. I thought they were awesome, but their lies just got too much. If they ever read this, which is doubtful, then I'm sorry I cut you out.. but I had to for my own sanity. Maybe if you apologised to my mum for what you have done and waved a white flag in defeat and admit you screwed up and why you tried to cover your tracks.. maybe we can talk some day. But, since I don't see that happening and you've tried not to contact me since I removed you from my friends list etc.. I guess you don't care all that much.

And with that depressing tidbit out the way, I have to show off this cute look I put together! I love it. The whole outfit was based around this super cute rain coat outfit I picked up from Babysteps, found at Style Me. I put some adorable lady bug geek glasses on from Tiddleywinks (if you can't see there's little lady bugs all over the frames.. cute!) and a red umbrella from Cute Bytes (that I got near Christmas) went with it perfectly. Even my nails from CutieCakes are covered with little lady bugs! I went a little lady bug mad.. although I keep wanting to call them lady birds. Here in the UK lady bugs are called lady birds.. don't ask me why.. I personally think lady bugs makes more sense!

Today's outfit is from Buttons & Bows. Look at how cute the little tights are with the panda heads on the top. Kudos to the designer, I love this outfit.. it's just super cute. It all comes together so nicely! Kind of annoyed I didn't think of it first! Buttons & Bows is always reasonably priced too and for the price this is super awesome.

♥ Berry Valentine ♥

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Hope everyone has a lovely day.

What are your views on fitted mesh? I saw the blog post about it having hit the grid and I preferred the non fitted mesh better than the fitted. To me, the fitted mesh is basically like system clothing.. but mesh. I am not sold on it yet.. might have to see it in world more.

Anyways.. this outfit has been made Valentine-esque by the giant berry my forever Auntie Ashlynn  got me for Valentines Day. This berry makes a kissy sound when clicked and it so reminds me of the strawberry from "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2"

♥ Why I blog.. ♥

I've seen a lot of posts recently to do with the reasons of why people blog and it's been pretty interesting. No two reasons are the same. So.. I decided to ask myself too, "Why do I blog?" and I think it comes down to a few things. One, I enjoy it.. and two, I like to have a record of my outfits, thoughts and happenings in Second Life. I know my blog is public and other people can and do view it, but I see it more as somewhere where I can write whatever I want whether it be about Second Life or Real Life. Writing can be very therapeutic at times. My blog has a bit of everything mixed in.. although I do try to focus it mostly on SL. I guess bottom line is, I blog for myself.. if anyone reads it and likes it, or even if they just come to look at the pictures - then that makes me extremely happy. 

In other news, I've not been feeling at all well.. so that's why I've been a little on the quiet side. I'm suffering with a really bad sore throat and my head keeps pounding. I know this is gonna sound majorly weird but I even smell unwell.. my body smells like illness and when I smell I can just smell vomit. It's gross. Anyways, back to Second Life stuff.. 

We tried to go to a roleplay restaurant for my mummy's real life birthday.. something nice for us all to do as a family. Nobody wanted to take our money apparently, since everywhere was closed or needed a reservation. So frustrating! I was really looking forward to doing that with them too.. would be interesting to see how my daddy reacts in a scenario like that - since he mostly voices and I've never really seen him RP.

So, I did give in and go to the Woodland Treasures Gatcha in the end. I picked up a whole bunch of things, I'm only showing off two of them in this post though. How cute is this necklace? I liked it so much that I whined that I only got one, so my mummy was awesome and got me a few more. I got the doll I wanted first try too, I only liked the look of the red one and was lucky I got it. The beautiful dress is from Marmelade. I bought it before Christmas and real life just took over and it sat in my inventory. I'm slowly working my way through my impulse purchases and trying to wear them all. Shame this pic came out a bit blurry.. I was having issues with things not rezzing, like the road. lol

I just realised it looks like I've got my doll in a headlock.. I can assure you she was absolutely fine and loved being held like that! ♥

This outfit I put together from a few different pieces.. I really like how it turned out and I even wore it for a few days, which is not like me! Like the title suggests, it reminds me of a Panda cub. Cute.

♥ Too Cute To Function ♥

Limited 50 is back and I rushed over there as soon as I could to grab up some of the goodies before they disappeared.. no, this post doesn't feature any of them.. but I just wanted to mention it in case anyone forgot (although they were selling out fast when I went) I managed to pick up an outfit from Baby Pie, a super cute mirror set from Buglets, awesome shoes from Snips and Snails and a custom mesh name frame from trinket. All in all it was an expensive but well worth it visit.

I later went shopping with my mummy too.. shopping is definitely a major thing in my Second Life and I'd be lost without it.

I definitely feel very cute in this amazing outfit from Baby Pie. Love all the little details.

♥ Still Love Pandas ♥

Yep, it might be a New Year.. but that doesn't mean my love of cute fuzzy pandas has disappeared. 

I thought this post would be a kind of homage to the fact that it hasn't gone away while showing off these adorable panda overalls from Soken Kids. I just love them. Pair them with your favorite shoes (in my case Baby Swag shoes) for a playful yet adorable look. I loved playing in the garden wearing them.

Big news.. my parents are on trial with an older sister for me.. she's from the UK too! I hope it goes well and we get on (I don't usually get on with siblings.. find that there ends up being a lot of competition, possibly on my part as I'm generally a competitive person) I also find it tough going from having all attention on me to then suddenly having the attention divided.. so, we'll see how it goes. 

I really do want to give it a shot because I know my parents really want another kid.. and it's not fair for me to hold them back just because I'm a brat who finds it hard to get on with other kids. I agreed to it with a few conditions of course, the major one being that they had to be older than me. The same age or younger would send me into competition mode. I'd be fighting to be the favorite. I think it helps a little because she's not a ToddleeDoo avatar like I am.. so already I feel a lot less threatened. I know, I know, I'm ridiculous.. but hey, at least I'm aware I am!

♥ Arctic Snow Days ♥

Don't you just hate it when you turn up to Limited 50 late?! I turned up late and my fav store Baby Pie had sold out. I did manage to pick up a few things, however, but irritatingly the few things I really did want were the ones that were sold out. 

I had to reason with myself when I was browsing Limited 50 too.. I really liked the dollhouse by AR and the dinosaur rocker (sorry it escapes me who made that off the top of my head) but I decided that they would just end up in my inventory and never get to see the light of day. I'm sure my parents don't want me to clutter up their house any more with my prims and I can't afford to just have a parcel just for my play items. I already pay for a parcel for my KittyCatS and my store *Awwdorable* and I struggle to keep those going! 

Even ended up buying custom trainers/sneakers/hi-tops (whatever you call them) Well, technically they're not made yet.. but I bought a form to get them made however I want which is pretty cool.. but I know if I really pulled a finger out I could have made them myself, so hopefully they'll do an epic job and put me to shame and it won't be just another of my impulse purchases that I end up regretting later on.

Anyway, decided to blog a different outfit from Baby Pie.. since I didn't get the one from Limited 50. -Cries pathetically- This one is Arctic Snow Days and is utterly cute, as usual.

♥ Wrap up warm ♥

Yep, I know I keep moaning about the cold.. but it truly is freezing! Not helped by the fact that I went to bed super late last night, only to have to get out of bed to the doorbell for an appointment I didn't even know was today. I didn't even have a chance to put my face on and had to sit through an appointment with an ugly face, clothes I just picked up randomly off the side to chuck on and sitting there not really concentrating.. just thinking I'd rather be in bed instead of having someone talk at me while I sat there looking disgusting. Ugh! Great start to the day.

On top of that.. a parcel was "delivered" apparently they tried to ring my doorbell and knock even while I was standing in the hallway.. and they just put a slip through saying that they'd left it with a neighbour. They didn't even bother knocking or ringing the doorbell cos I would have heard it.. so now I have to deal with a disgruntled other half who is too stubborn to go round and pick it up, since he doesn't know that particular neighbour.. and since it wasn't his fault he doesn't see why he should get it. I told him that it's in his name and if he doesn't get it.. he's likely losing money for whatever he bought. Knowing my luck it's probably one of my Christmas presents and his reaction to it was just "Meh, whatever, I'm not getting it. I don't care if I'm losing money, it wasn't my fault!" Men!!

Now I've got my real life ranting and raving out the way.. onto Second Life.. which is much more chillax and fun. Last night I spent a little time on my grownup avi, which I don't really do.. but no parents were on last night and I was bored so I decided I'd see what the grownup side of SL had to offer for a change. I ended up just going to The Arcade, getting some of the grownup clothing bits there.. dressing my avi up and then wandering around sims looking for someone to talk to. Did I find anyone? Nope! Where do grownups go to hang out besides icky places? It baffles me how grownups manage.. I seem to only ever meet noobs, weirdos or people that want icky things. So.. I went back onto my usual child avi and chatted to my kid friends for a bit, while I made this pic.

Sorry for any mistakes in this post, I usually proof read it.. but I can't be dealing with reading back the bad start to the day I've had! Oh great, now as I type this my cat is about to eat the Christmas tree..

♥ Let it snow.. ♥

Feeling a bit down today because my throat is absolutely killing me.. blah.. and it's still freezing cold here. I feel like my Eeyore quote on my picture today pretty much sounds like how I'm feeling right now. But we've gotta look on the bright side, there's been no earthquakes. I've actually felt two earthquakes in my life time.. but thankfully they weren't anything major. I was in bed for one and heard it more than felt it.. weird. The UK doesn't really get them on the scale that most other places do, touch wood. 

Put the Christmas tree up finally yesterday, so at least my home looks a little bit Christmassy. I hate constructing the tree (yes, we used an artificial this year) and I'm too short to ensure the lights look good the whole way up.. but I enjoy decorating it with baubles! We used to put tinsel on it too, but have since decided it looks tacky.. plus my cat likes to eat it and we end up removing very festive looking poo from his litter box since it has tinsel poking out in all directions. He's obsessed with the tree and we're already getting exhausted from telling him off whenever he goes near it. He just wants to eat the branches for some reason! When he was a kitten he would knock the baubles off the lower branches, but now he's so big he can stand up on his back legs and have the whole thing over if he's not careful. Being part Norwegian Forest and part naughty fat kitty he's a nightmare to control when it comes to the tree! 

We've almost done our Christmas shopping, minus about 4 presents.. and of course all the Christmas food. I think everyone goes mental when it comes to Christmas food.. don't even get me started! 

Anyways, on to this outfit. It's from Ello Poppet and is so cute. I love the collar on it and the fluffy boots. I love these nails from Tiddleywinks too, I wish you could see them up close.. but they're so awesome and Christmassy. The umbrella is awesome too, it's from Cute Bytes found at the Woodland Treasure Gatcha event. It has snow that falls on it and coats the top of the umbrella over time, a teleport effect and it can be opened and closed. There are lots of colours to collect! This one just happened to go with my outfit.

As for the outfit, it's pink plaid and very cute.. it comes with a shoulder bag, or as my dad said, "a purse almost as big as you" Daddy's have no idea when it comes to fashion sometimes! ♥ Shopping, Shopping, Shopping ♥

Due to the strong winds and flooding in my part of the UK, I had no electricity for about 14 hours! Everything in my home runs off electric.. even my oil fired heating requires electric to start. I had no heating for all that time it was freezing in my house, I thought I was dying. I kept hearing ambulances whiz past and I felt like I might need their assistance too. I could see my own breath just breathing in my house.. you know it is cold when you can see your own breath. I couldn't make a hot water bottle as the kettle and stove are electric.. microwave is electric too. It was the worst 14 hours ever.. I'm quite proud I made it through it.. parts of my area are a mess though.. so much has been damaged by this storm and flooding. We were told of one lady who was stuck in the middle of power lines that had come down. A tree toppled over and had another set. It was chaos!

Anyway, today I woke up early to try to make up for lost time yesterday.. managed to do some chores (WITH THE HEATING ON FULL BLAST) and ordered some real life Christmas presents. I'm having SL withdrawal though, due to being so busy RL right now I've not been on much at all. I'm sorry mummy and daddy, I love you and miss you both lots. Soon as I have time to sit down for longer than half an hour I will be logging on!

Whenever I have been on though, I have done what I do best.. and that is shop! Here is me looking cool shopping at Bubbles Lane, where my store, *Awwdorable*, mummy's store, Oh! ♥ When SL eats things.. ♥

Rahh! I wasn't going to log on today/tonight at all.. but was talking to my mummy on Skype about an incident yesterday where I couldn't eject someone that was naked on our land, so she went ahead and deeded the land to group so I would be able to.. only, in doing so, it sent back all my store to my lost and found. I only knew this after getting spammy e-mail notifying me of the fact. 

It also sent a load of mummy's store back to her and SL even ATE half of her store. She lost it entirely and Linden Labs were completely unhelpful in resolving it, just telling her that it was lost and there was nothing they could do to recover lost items. She was told to clear cache, which she had already done.. and still the items didn't reappear. Now I feel really guilty and like it's all my fault that this happened, I should have just said nothing about the naked man. Stupid naked man.. technically this is your fault! 

When things go wrong, they seem to go wrong spectacularly. I couldn't have had a worse day.. I shouldn't really say that of course, since I'm sure it'll just shove something even worse my way just to prove that it can.

Anyways, while I was standing around being useless in not being able to help my mummy put her store back together again.. I decided to take a pic and make a venty post about what just happened.. so here's the pic.. you already had the venty post:

♥ Duvet Day ♥

Everyone all spent out from The Arcade and from the Woodland Treasures Gatcha event? I know I am.. I spent an atrocious 4k at The Arcade.. and I bought a lot of stuff I didn't even really want. I just got it because hey it's The Arcade. I feel a bit disgusted with myself at how much I spent when I could have probably just gone to yard sales and picked up the bits I actually really wanted. When will I ever learn?! I even parted with 1k at the Woodland Treasures Gatcha. No doubt I'll end up showing you what I got from both soon enough.

My mummy was just as bad as I was.. she tried to get me a panda hot water bottle and must have spent at least 1k trying for it.. she got every bottle but the one I wanted. Typical. We ended up setting up a gatcha sales room over at Bubbles Lane to sell off our duplicates and things we generally didn't want. Feeling a bit depressed today, had some bad news in real life which just left me feeling really low. I've not even bothered logging onto Second Life yet, luckily I already had this outfit lined up and ready to post.. having a hard job getting going today. I have so much to do and I've been in bed all day, it's now just gone 5pm here.. I have got to go and have a bath and start cleaning the house after I post this. I know that just laying here brewing in my misery is not helping.. and putting off all the things I need to do is making me more anxious and depressed.

Sometimes you just need to get warm and snuggle up in something comfy, like this cute romper from Baby Pie. Perfect for when you just want to have a "duvet day" - not sure what people in other parts of the world call them. Basically it's just a day where you don't move from your bed.. which is pretty much my life in real life right now.

♥ Out of sorts ♥

Oh my goodness, I've been so sleepy lately. I've found myself managing to sleep all night and all day for two days straight.. like I'll go to bed at around midnight and wake up at 5pm. It's ever since they took blood from me at the hospital. It's like they sucked my life force out with a syringe! Give me my mojo back! Although, saying that, I haven't actually managed to sleep at all tonight.. I guess those epic sleeps did the trick. 

I've been busy with my mummy in world, busily working on my next project. It's gonna be awesome and I can't wait to share.. but first we need to get it complete. It's definitely getting there though. Very exciting!

Baby Pie does it again with yet another super duper cute outfit! There's not much else to be said other than it's awesome and I love it. I eagerly anticipate Baby Pie releases.. because they all rock. The original meshes definitely help, but I think even if she textured other peoples meshes I would still love them, hug them and call them George. Okay, maybe not the last part.. but you know what I mean.. -Giggles-

♥ Getting in the mood for Christmas ♥

Feeling Christmassy now. A little bit anyway, maybe it's because it's so cold over here in the UK. I'm frozen to the bone!

This is a pretty cute outfit from Glitter Outfitters and very festive with the deer on the front of the sweater. 

Kinda experimented with some lighting here as my usual settings just made the sweater look like it had nothing on it at all.. but have now decided that it looks a bit moody. Hmm..

Well, my next project is fully under way.. so that's good. 

Today I got jabbed with a needle in real life for a blood test (well, technically yesterday now since it's gone midnight), so my arm is a bit sore.. so I'm gonna keep this brief. I know you probably get bored of my long winded rambles anyway.

So, this outfit is from That's So {Kyoot} and it really is cute. Another one of my fav stores at the moment. Can't get enough of it. I almost ended up being an official blogger for her, but we couldn't seem to get our schedules to line up in Second Life to talk about it. Sadness! Oh well, I'll just continue buying when I can and blogging the bits I manage to get.

Aren't the toy crates/boxes in the background just adorable? They're from BoOgers and I found them at Collabor88. I often forget about going there and sometimes miss out, but luckily this time I remembered to check to see what was there.
