♥ Sweet Dreams ♥

Last post of the night before I drift off into dream land myself and try to get a good nights sleep..  that way I can be fresh for packing tomorrow. 

These vintage jammies are just adorable! They are a fabulous collaboration from Bad Seed Boutique and Turducken and are available right now at La Boutique. They come in lots of different colours.. I'm showing off the purple ones (I know, shock horror I didn't pick pink for once!) The other colours you can get are: Blue, Cream, Mint, Peach and Pink. These pjs fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's too, yay! The mesh is unique and I love the ruffle effect, it's just a gorgeous design and the texture work is superb! They make an amazing team and I can't wait to see what else they come up with.

♥ Unicorns I love them! ♥

I haven't blogged for a few days, I've been focusing a bit more on real life.. which is exhausting.. it's so much nicer when I don't worry about it, but I know I need to.

Well.. I can officially say now that I left my family. While it is sad that things happened how they did, I can't go back and change them and I know in my heart that there were things that weren't working how I'd have liked anyway. 
Will I be looking for a new family? No. Not right now. It doesn't seem right to do that after spending over a year with a family.. to just start fresh so soon. I spoke to a friend who said that many people would just start the search again, but I'm not like that.. don't think it's right. I would still feel the same even if I wasn't a kid avi.. and if I was a parent who had lost a kid in the family that had been with me for a long time there is no way I'd put up a panel looking again. I feel it would be disrespectful.. like you're trying to erase the memory of them immediately. I guess I'd wait at least a month or two before embarking on the whole process again otherwise it would just seem like I didn't care about them at all. Which is really harsh... and I did care about my family, so I'm not ready to look right now. 

Besides.. I'm focusing on real life, which means that I'm not as involved in things on Second Life as I have been.. guess it would be kind of pointless to start with a family not being on so much.. which is part of the reason that things with my family before ended. Things just move too fast in Second Life if you're not there.. it sucks. 

I've decided that forever family is a myth.. in a sense that none of the families that I've settled with have lasted like I hoped. Things always change, they get tired of me or real life happens.. or it just doesn't feel right. My advice to anyone looking for a forever family is this.. stop. Find a family, by all means.. but don't think it will last because it won't. Enjoy it while things are happy though.. just realise all good things do come to an end. There are the few families who do slip through the cracks and make it work no matter what.. kudos to them.

It's weird because those I consider forever family are not family.. they're just people I've met in Second Life. All of them were met through family, but no matter what the situation we always find each other again.

A good friend of mine fits into that category above and has been kind enough to let me stay with them, "The Roth Family". I've known them for what would seem like ages and no matter what avatar they use we always talk.. I'd not met his girlfriend before, but she accepted me straight away. Even made me this little house outside (pictured below, in the second picture) full of girly toys and things especially for me. She even went as far as baby proofing the lake behind by putting up a really cute fence. They have been lovely in taking me in and giving me much needed cuddles. They may even become my God Parents.. who knows. I'm so thankful that they pulled me out of the sandbox that I was squatting in. That makes it sound like I was pooping there.. I mean.. I had set it up as home, even though it was public. lol

Off of the family topic now and onto the main point of my post.. dun dun dun.. the outfit! A lot of my accessorising was done at this round of Collabor88. It's super cute over there with all the unicorn related stuff.. and well I do love unicorns so I couldn't resist.

I'm wearing an outfit from tiptoes. I've never bought from them before, but seen tons of cute stuff from them and since I had been so busy blogging for sponsors I hadn't had a chance to try them out.. until today! I love this cute pink dress with bows all over the bottom. It's such a complete outfit too, since it comes with shoes, hairband, tights and bracelet.. and it wasn't badly priced either. I will definitely be shopping there again!

♥ These Days ♥

Ahh! These last couple of days have been super busy in real life.. so I'm very sorry that I've not posted! Today wasn't much better either what with the "Black Friday" sale business going on. It's somehow managed to work its way over to the UK which means lots and lots of craziness.. I've been online shopping the sales but I know that it's been manic in the shops.. people fighting (almost to the death) over items. I saw a video of one woman literally clinging to a television while someone else was trying to carry it out of the shop.. she wanted it for herself. My sister and I have joked it's the closest thing we're gonna get to our own real life "Hunger Games"

Second Life has been crazy with sales today too! I popped over to Minuet and Just Kidding to grab some "Black Friday" bargains.. but I know they're not the only two stores participating. I didn't want to spend too much though because of "The Arcade" starting. Oh.. the shopping guide is out for that now if you wanted to peek!

Okay, so onto the outfit I'm wearing today.. I have this adorable "Flower Love" outfit to show you from Little Nerds. It's comprised of a pretty top and white leggings, which will fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars. It should be noted that it doesn't come with shoes, however, sometimes it's great when an outfit doesn't come with shoes because it gives you options then.. and it also allowed me to break out these boots that were just sitting in my inventory doing nothing because I had nothing that went with them.

Also check out this amazing skateboard I'm standing on from SugaBees. I absolutely love it. I love the texture of this board too.. and the fact that it's resizable simply by stretching it means no messing around with scripts! This particular one is LIFE compatible, but there's ones for other HUDs (including Little Minders) and you can also get it so it's not compatible with any HUD too if those aren't your thing. It has two awesome tricks you can perform in it too.. and it's real easy to maneouver with. All you need to do is press the arrow keys on your keyboard and away you go.. tricks are easily achieved by pressing the page down and page up keys (although don't hold down page up for too long or you'll end up flying) The boards come in a variety of designs too, but this one is awesome.. a really funky looking board, perfect for those days when you just wanna skate the day away in style! 

Song at the bottom of this post has been stuck in my head ever since I saw them doing their cringey "dad dance" on the X Factor. They really shouldn't dance.

I'm loving these sweaters from Little Nerds with the cute skull on the front. You can choose between black and red too. I picked black today, but they are both awesome. I never thought a skull could be cute until now.. and they fit baby and kid ToddleeDoo's, which is always great.

I teamed my sweater from Little Nerds with these epic free leggings from Snips & Snails which you can grab at Trunk or Treat. Who doesn't love skeleton print leggings? ♥

I'm diggin' this look I've got going on today.. it's creepy cute. That's now a thing.. creepy cute.. where it should be creepy but it's just not quite creepy enough.

In unrelated news, my cat is still being sick.. we suspect it's because he eats his food too fast and I'm not sure really what to do about it. I'm considering maybe breaking his two meals a day into three meals a day to combat it.. maybe giving him smaller amounts will help.

♥ After Hours at the Psychedelic Sweet Shop ♥

I absolutely love this lollipop crazy outfit from Tic Tot Toe called, "Lollipop Guild" - it inspired me to put together this scene.. which my real life fiance called the "Psychedelic Sweet Shop" so I ran with it as a title. It's very rare he gets any input into my blogs, but when I asked him his opinion of my picture and those words tumbled out of his mouth.. well.. tonight I decided it was genius and I had to use it.

Anyways, as I was saying.. this epic outfit from Tic Tot Toe fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars. Yay! It comes with so many goodies too.. you get the overalls, sneakers, under shirt HUD, lickable lollipop, glasses, propeller cap, ring and tongue! An amazing full set of awesome sauce. I liked how I could resize the glasses and lollipop to fit me by sticking a resize script in as they were modifiable. Yay for modifiable things! Too often something won't fit me right and I can't stick a script in it to fix it.. and that makes me grumble.. but I didn't have that problem with this outfit.

I'm also wearing a pink lollipop stun halo from Plethora, which was at the Candy Fair (which is over now, sadly, but you can still grab these things I got from their in world stores probably - but don't quote me on that!). Anyways, the stun halo goes off when anything hits you, which is pretty neat and reminds me of cartoons.. or you can edit it and make it not transparent (like I did) and it's on all the time.

Yep, still rocking the mesh head.. but this time it's the tongue head. Still ridiculously cute.. and now I have a feeling going back to my old skin is going to be weird.

♥ Lately I've been losing sleep ♥

Very appropriate title today considering it's 6am and I've not slept yet and it's also the lyrics in a song I'm listening to at the moment. I blame this nasty flu bug thing I've got for my awakeness, it's made me feel really rotten.

Anyway, I have a super duper adorable outfit from Foox Kids to show you today. Just look at how cute it is! I love the little floral shorts, the quirky tank with bows.. it's probably my favorite outfit from Foox Kids so far.. it even comes with the black sneakers, one bow and a set of pigtail bows, but I used the one bow today. Love, love, love this look.♥

The hair I'm wearing is from Truth, found at this round of The Arcade, it's darling! The bear on my arm is also from The Arcade, from BoOgErS. Who can resist the lure of those cute bears? I only wanted one.. I somehow ended up with nearly the full set. I did get the bear I really wanted though "Chosen" bear (not featured in this post, but no doubt will make an appearance soon)

I couldn't decide on which bag I wanted to wear for this post.. so I did the taboo thing and wore two! One backpack from Boom (also found at The Arcade.. can you tell I went a bit crazy this round?) and this awesome retro bag from Little Nerds (from this round of Woodland Gatcha)
