♥ Let It Go.. to the beach ♥

It's getting on for 9am here and I've still not been to sleep yet. I've been feeling very anxious about.. well.. everything and it's kept me awake! It's kind of irritating that I can't get my mind to rest, so that's why I'm filling my time catching up on some blogging.. so, here's the second post of the day.

There's some awesome visors in a gatcha from ToddleTeeZ, at Hello Beautiful, in a variety of colours and styles. I'm rocking the "Sea La Vie" visor. The name of it is even cute! These are a must have accessory for your outdoor adventures, whether it be at the beach or somewhere else entirely.

I have on an adorable foot jewelry thing from Turducken, available in a gatcha at Hello Beautiful right now. I honestly wanted them all, but funds are extremely low at the minute so I had to settle for just two. I got this purple one and a navy one. 

Lastly how adorable is this towel (in the last picture of mine) from snaphappy? You can get it at Hello Beautiful too. I was lucky enough to get the rare first try... that like never happens to me! I was satisfied with it and decided to stop there. I would have loved Ariel too though. Not only do these towels look ridiculously cute they have a bunch of poses built into them.

Think I might try to lay down and sleep now..

♥ Fall ♥

I know my blog hasn't been getting a lot of attention lately and I'm really sorry for that, but things have been really busy in real life and I've been unwell to boot so it's not been the best of times for me. At least there's plenty of ToddleeDoo bloggers out there who have been blogging away while I've been gone. Sooo many new ones too.

Anyways, I've got this new skin and shape set to show you from Purretes which is available at Hello Beautiful right now. It's called "Nayade Skin & Shape" and it comes with a lot of different options... including: lashes, dimples, all sorts of freckles, blush, sunscreen and sunburn. There's even light and dark brows included and the shape is completely modifiable (but it's a really cute petite shape which should only need minor tweaking in my opinion. Personally I'd probably only make the eyes slightly bigger and the lips smaller, but I think shapes are unique to people and you might like it just how it is) It even comes with alpha layers for your lips so you can have your mouth open (3 different options!) I've included a picture of the HUD at the end of this post too so you can see the options and see that it's mesh head compatible.

It's funny the stuff you pull out of your inventory that you totally forgot you had and bought ages ago, like these pjs.. I decided I wanted to create a silly pose to go with them.. so tada.. this is what I came up with. I had a lot of fun creating it and I hope I made someone smile.

Short and sweet post.. 

I just really wanted to blog this top from BunBun that is at La Boutique right now. It's so cute! I think maybe I'm a little predictable though getting it in pink.. maybe I need to start introducing a few other colours into my wardrobe. Anyway, this cute satin babydoll top fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's.

I'm having a chat with the sheep about all my problems.. they're great sheep, aren't they? They just listen and don't say anything back. I'd say a wall would be good to do that to, but, a wall doesn't look cute and make cute noises.

♥ Mummy, Me and Dolly makes three ♥

It's not often I get to collaborate on a post with my awesome mummy.. but when I do get the chance, I grab it with both hands! I love doing pictures with my mummy and spending time with her.. so when asked to be in her blog post I was like YEAH!! Of course I had to blog it too.. this is my mummy's take on it, with the main focus of her post being our hair, find the post: here.

How adorable are the dollies from Snippet which you can get at The Play Room right now? I love them! I played the gatcha a good few times to make sure I got the outfit and the rare dolly. I have a few of the other dollies too, which have different colour hair.. but the rare doll is by far my fave. They even match your outfit and the clothes can be taken off.. which means that in the future there will be more dolly clothing so you and your dolly can match time after time! Yay! 

I'm loving this new hair my mummy introduced me to from elikatira. Those of you that remember pre-mesh elikatira hair will notice the striking resemblance to another hair from those days.. I think I've actually blogged it in the past, the non-mesh version.. so I think maybe it was updated to mesh and made even more awesome. Either way, it's adorable and fits us ToddleeDoo's, which always rocks.

I had to steal this video (at the very end of my post) from my mummy's post too.. because we were on voice and singing it at the top of our lungs and now every time I hear it I can't stop giggling like an idiot.. particularly at the part "What are you waiting for?!" where my mummy and I pretty much screamed it down the mic at each other. Our karaoke sessions where we get silly are hilarious. Love my mummy!

Right, I'm off to have a bath as I need to go and get ready..

♥ Celebrate ♥

I have a few things to celebrate.. first of all, I realised that a couple of posts back on my "Cool Cat" post it was my 500th blog post. Yay! I can't believe I've done that many.. I know I've been blogging for a couple of years now, but still that's pretty crazy. 

Another thing I want to celebrate is this fantastic figure I've snagged a screen shot of, which you can find at the very end of this post. It doesn't track my own views.. so that is purely you readers! A massive thank you from the bottom of my heart! ♥

Next thing I'm celebrating is my birthday.. I know, I had it already.. but tonight I'm going to be having a belated birthday evening with my real life fella. It was totally his idea. I made a cake for it, even though I'm having problems seeing anything right now - since the arm of my glasses snapped off this morning! I've been going around with my head tilted to the side to keep them on and then keep having to put them back on when they fall off.. which is a lot as I keep forgetting. Without them navigating anything is pretty much not going to happen. I'm pretty hopeless without them. I tried to walk down my hallway without them on and I felt really disorientated, it was weird not being able to see properly! But yeah, mini party tonight.. as he was working away on my actual birthday.

Now onto what hopefully brought you here.. this marvellous outfit! Yes, I said marvellous. No, I haven't completely lost it.. well, maybe. Anyways, my outfit is from the fantastic ToddleTeeZ and it's not a gatcha one! Yay! It's a cute little romper called "Mary Jumpers {Pink}" and it's available at this current round of La Boutique. There's also blue, purple and teal up for grabs if pink doesn't float your boat. I'm absolutely loving the adorable raised front with the ladybug perched on it.. such a super cute touch! Ooh and it fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. Not only is there that, but there's even more goodies from ToddleTeeZ available at La Boutique! The matching necklace and earring set is called "Ladybug Necklace & Earring Set" and I say it's matching because of the ladybug on the front of the romper.. so they make a nice pairing! And if that still wasn't enough for you.. this epic ring pop called "Cuddle Bug - Glam Ring Pop" is also at La Boutique from ToddleTeeZ. Phew, that was a lot of fab stuff!

At Hello Beautiful right now too are these amazing birthstone bracelets from.. dun dun dun.. ToddleTeeZ! Are you noticing a theme for this post yet? Anyways.. what makes them so awesome? Well.. they have animated sparkles and everyone loves a bit of bling, don't they? No, not the scary old SL bling! The scary old SL bling should be deleted from everybody's inventory in my opinion! It's offensive to my eyes.. 

I've blogged these knee tattoos before, but I wanted to wear them again. I love the multicoloured one from Tic Tot Toe which is available at Hello Beautiful right now.

♥ Really really really really really really like you ♥

My second post of the day. It's actually my attempt at keeping me distracted from something horrible that I just found out in real life. I'm trying to push it to the back of my mind, but it keeps creeping back.. I was hoping more blogging would stop me worrying so much, but it's not really. I will have to do something else after this post to try to take my mind off it. 

Anyways, this amazingly adorable outfit is from Turducken and can be found at this current round of La Boutique. I absolutely adore this look.. it's very boho, chic and extremely pretty. It fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's and even comes with the skirt and top separately too if you don't want to wear it as a dress, so there is potential for mixing it up! I was happy to see it came with shoes too, which I wasn't expecting. This dress is definitely one to grab.. and it comes in a lot of different colours so you'll be sure to find one to fit your taste.

I'm wearing a headband from Buglets again, it seemed to work perfectly with this outfit, you can grab it at this round of Hello Beautiful. 

In other news I have this annoying earworm of a song stuck in my head by Carly Rae Jepsen.. so I'm going to link it so you too can have it go round and round in your head. You're welcome, no need to thank me. The video is totally bizarre too.. what on earth is Tom Hanks doing?! I hope it's a soundtrack for a new movie of his or something otherwise this just doesn't make a lick of sense. The cameo from Justin Bieber at the end too.. was that really necessary?! I'm just.. in awe at this video. I cringed a lot.. but this song is completely and utterly stuck in my head. Enjoy!

♥ Let the world burn ♥

Ahh, super quick speedy post for me today because real life is being so demanding with this whole house business. I had a break but now my other half is home from working away it's back to being manic again. I'm getting myself a bit stressed with it all truth be told.. not sure how I'm going to survive this process.. by the end I think I'm going to be a quivering wreck. They say moving is one of the most stressful things you can experience in your life.. it's right up there with losing a loved one. 

Anyways.. I haven't got long, I'm writing this while my partner is at the shop - so he won't moan about me being on the computer and not doing more "worthwhile" things. Well, forgive me if I think blogging is worthwhile! I enjoy it, so there! 

Right.. now these new eyelashes from Purretes are just awesome. You can find yours at this round of Hello Beautiful. They come with a HUD with a colour wheel, so you can pick all sorts of colours.. personally I always want my lashes black, so I just went with the default.. but I guess if you like funky coloured lashes then these would be ideal! They weren't too tricky to mess with either.. I've never been a fan of editing eyelashes because of how fiddly they are! So I was happy that these didn't need much adjusting.

I'm loving these knee plasters from Tic Tot Toe. Okay, they're called band aids in America.. so, maybe I should refer to them as what they're called.. it just confuses me as I know them as plasters. Haha. Okay, anyways, these adorable knee bandaids come in LOADS of varieties. They're in a gatcha at Hello Beautiful right now, so be sure to go snatch them up. The ones I have on are the multi coloured ones.. but there's all different ones and you're bound to find one you like.

Right, back to boring real life.. and sometimes I just wanna let the world burn..

♥ Fun and Mirrors ♥

Hi everyone!

Hope all is well in your worlds. I'm currently in a blind panic in real life; trying to get everything ship shape for when my fiancee returns tomorrow (or rather today, since it's gone midnight here now) He wasn't supposed to be back for a couple more days, so I'm running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything just so. I'm currently on a break from cleaning and tidying, so I figured now would be the perfect time to do a post. 

First up there's these two adorable new items from Aphrodite. A play gym, called "The tree of life" it's much like the one I blogged previously - it's just a different style.. see the other post here: What a Hoot. 
The other item from Aphrodite is an adorable rocking owl. It has a few different animations built into it and it actually rocks! Very cute! I'm hoping Aphrodite release some kitty stuff soon, because owls are cute and everything.. but I'm much more into kitties! Or pandas.. or unicorns.. or mermaids.. or you know.. all of those would be good! I am loving the quality of their furniture though.

I'm wearing the mesh head from Cute Bytes, "BELLINA", that's available at this round of Hello Beautiful for a promo price of 250L$. I've teamed it with an applier from Bad Seed Boutique, "Berty" in the peach tone, which is also at Hello Beautiful right now. I think this head and skin combination looks pretty cute!

I have on adorable ears again from Tikkels, these too are at Hello Beautiful right now. These ones are chocolate dipped! Yum! They are HUD operated so you can match up your skin without much hassle and you can even change the colour of your earrings. Bonus! If the chocolate dipped ones aren't your thing, in my last post I showed off the sprinkle ones.. which are adorable too. I'm also wearing a face tattoo for mesh heads from Tikkels. It's really pretty and sparkly, grab yours at this round of Hello Beautiful.

I have on a very pretty headband from Buglets, "Janie Headband", which comes in lots of different colours. I'm wearing the blue (sky) coloured one to match my awesome outfit from Bad Seed Boutique.

The eyes I have on are called "Lovable Eyes" and I have on style C. They are from *BABY* and are available in lots of other colours at Hello Beautiful right now. I just happened to like this particular colour.. I gravitate towards lighter ones and blue tones. 
 
My nails are from Enchanted Bowtique are also at Hello Beautiful (you noticing a theme here yet?) and are called "Sakura nails" - they come in many different colours. Aren't they pretty?

Finally this mirror.. from snaphappy poses, available at.. you guessed it, Hello Beautiful. I blogged it before.. but today I'm showing off one of the commons which is the sky tone. It's perfect for making faces with your new mesh heads in. I had a little too much fun pulling faces in it.

♥ Chill ♥

I haven't managed to get a good nights sleep at all.. so what do I do in these instances? I blog! I need to learn to chill out a bit more and stop getting myself so stressed, so that's exactly what I did.. took myself off to a pretty sim to chill and get some relaxation time. I wasn't worrying about deadlines or anything, just taking my time. Think we all could do with chilling out from time to time.

Hello Beautiful opened it's doors for it's seventh round today. Lots of fantastic creators all in one space, what's not to love about that?! It's a really awesome theme too, so there's lots of diversity in what has been made and there's something for everyone.

Babysteps have made an awesome hair for this round of Hello Beautiful. It's called "Addyline" It comes with the beret attached and an awesome HUD for the hair (including changing root colour) and you can colour the beret from a few different options. I normally wear blonde hair, so for the majority of my pics I am wearing the blonde one. At the very bottom I have included a pic of one colour from each of the packs though.. they are pretty awesome. From top left to right: Brunettes, Black&White and Dips. From bottom left to right: Ombres, Pastels and Reds. You could even treat yourself to the fatpack if you can't decide which colour pack you like. The hair is easily resizable too with a simple click. No rezzing it on the ground and putting in your own resizer.. or messing around trying to find the HUD button.. just click your hair and you're good to go! I hope this is the first of many hairstyles from Babysteps.

My outfit today is from Heffalumps, it's called "Tilly" - so naturally I gravitated towards it because that's also my mummy's name. I think these little flats from Minuet go so perfectly with it. Usually I'm not the kind to dress as dark as this, but I'm trying to experiment with new styles and stepping out of my comfort zone a little more here and there.

♥ Birthday Awesomeness ♥

A bit of a different post this one.. it's mostly for myself, so I can remember the day. So.. I thought.. why not make it a post?!

So... yesterday was my birthday in real life.. and my mummy made the day, I spent alone in real life, not suck!

Things started off poorly as my mummy had to do some work in world for her pose store, Dot Dot Dot.. and my sister was working in real life.. so, I was really bored and decided to work on my store Awwdorable too. At this point I started to get worried that the rest of the day would suck. I can happily say though, that it didn't!

I was told we were going to a restaurant in the evening.. so I was pretty excited, because I do love roleplay restaurants when they're done well.. but this actually turned out to be something just to throw me off the scent of what was really going to be happening! Sneaky!

Apparently my mummy had been planning things all secretive.. even sent out invites without my knowledge. 

My mummy then said she had a surprise before we went to the restaurant, so I was tped off to this surprise first. I arrive and realise we're at Magicland - the sim that's done to be like Disney World. I was really happy because I love it there and have been lots of times.. but then.. a parade starts! A birthday parade for me, with floats and everything.. amazing! Queen Elsa from Frozen was on one of the floats and greeted us. After the parade was over Queen Elsa appears! Ahh! Star struck! -Giggles- I didn't really know what to say, but luckily my sister, cousin and friend were on hand to bombard her with questions while I sit with my jaw on the floor. She stayed around and chatted with us for a bit before asking what we wanted to do.. if we wanted to go on any rides. 

Elsa then mentioned the new Tiki Room, so that intrigued me and off we went there (seeing as I've seen everything else there a whole bunch of times) The Tiki Room was pretty awesome.. I won't spoil it too much if you've not been (apparently it's been there for a little while now, but it's a relatively new attraction.. and they're working on updates to the park and adding new things - which is exciting - it could seriously do with a mesh overhaul!) Sadly my cousins sound didn't work for this ride, but even she said it was the best silent show she'd been to. The sound really makes it that much more awesome though, so hopefully she'll go back and check it out another time. 

After that we all piled into some boats, for the jungle ride.. my nanna had to sit in another boat with Queen Elsa as there wasn't enough room for us all in one! My sister and I were almost sprayed by a hippo.

Anyways, after Magicland.. mummy whisks me off to what I thought was going to be the restaurant. I arrive and everyone is all, "SURPRISE!" My mummy had only gone and got a separate piece of land and decorated it all out Alice in Wonderland style just for me! There was a huge tea party like table, where I had lots of presents (so spoiled!) Thank you to everyone who got me a present, some of which I've taken a picture of below. In the middle of the land was a cute teacup ride, so we all clambered into a cup and whizzed around for a bit. I felt dizzy after a while so I had to get out. We then played greedy until it was time for bed.

My mummy surprised me with a video before all of this, which I've linked to here (I wish I could embed it but it wasn't hosted on youtube). It was so lovely, it made me cry! I wish I had a real copy to hold onto forever and ever. Nobody has done anything like this for me before and it truly was the best part of the day. I keep watching it.. I love it.

♥ MoMo ♥

I'm not feeling particularly the best today and I know people say you shouldn't blog when you feel bad; but I had to because of the awesomeness I'm going to be showing off below. If you don't care about real life stuff skip the first four paragraphs to get the low down on the outfit info.

Why am I feeling poopy today? Well.. a few reasons. Firstly, my fiancee is working away.. so I'm moping around all sad, missing him. My cat is too. He's worse than me actually, he goes from room to room crying looking for his daddy.. which in turn makes me even sadder. His sad little meows tug at my heart strings.

Secondly, I have a really disgusting infected finger.. I know, you all wanted to know that and you'll sleep better tonight now you know. Anyways, it was the result of two issues.. one, I ripped off a hangnail (I know, I know.. should never have done that) and then my nail snagged on something and ripped off at a painful place.. the nail bed. So, I guess something managed to get in via either of those places and now my finger is red, swollen, pus ridden, throbbing and just generally nasty. I showed my SL mummy and sis a picture of it (as you do.. I think I overshare sometimes..) they were disgusted. It really does look gross. The pain is the worst.. but I'm too stubborn to get it seen to. I'll keep treating it at home with soaks in salt water and then putting antiseptic cream on. See how it goes.

Thirdly, I watched a film last night that triggered me. I have mental health issues that can be triggered by certain things and this film definitely triggered me. It was an epic film though.. but I feel all vulnerable today because of it and letting bad thoughts plague my mind.

I had a load of paperwork to read earlier too which I didn't understand at all.. it was to do with mortgage stuff and it was apparently important that I read it all. I would have probably took it in if it was written in a way that wasn't littered with jargon. I was supposed to read it and give my fiancee the gist of it.. because he's working away it's difficult for him to keep up with all the paperwork and therefore I should just fill him in.. but I've e-mailed him and told him I don't understand any of it. I feel so stupid for doing that.. but it's better than me saying it was fine and missing something crucial because I didn't understand something.

Anyways, back to Second Life. My sister, Meggie, has returned to the family.. though in my eyes she never left. Even when she was with another family I still called her sis! Yay! Glad to have her back! She does have to put up with my constant teasing and getting on at her for not editing her avatar right. She loves me even when I'm getting on her case I think..

Look how adorable this original mesh outfit from Bad Seed Boutique is? It's called "MoMo" and there's two different colours of this epic outfit. You can choose from pink or teal. Pink was my fave, so that's what I'm showing off today. This outfit is available at this round of La Boutique. It comes with the boots and tights too. I decided to pose in my shared messy bedroom today.. well.. the grownups say mess, I say I know exactly where everything is.. so no tidying it!

My little doggy in the bag is from Birdy, found at this round of Chapter Four. It's really cute. It needed sizing down a lot and repositioning slightly, but if you don't mind editing then it's a definite must have.

I'm absolutely oving this new hair from *BABY* too. It's rigged especially for ToddleeDoo's! There's a couple of styles in store now.. and they are all fantastic. I can't wait to see more! Thanks to my friend, ZoZo, for the heads up on these.
