♥ Nope ♥

Firstly, sorry I've been slacking on the blogging front the last couple of days. I'm really not feeling too good in real life.. I ended up having to see the doctor (which I had been avoiding at all costs, but I couldn't stand the pain any more) So.. I went.. got a brand spanking new diagnosis to add to all my others.. along with 2 new lots of pills to take. Yay.. (that was sarcasm) These new pills are going to make me sleepy a lot apparently, which will explain why I slept yesterday away.

I am in so much pain with my head so I will try to soldier on and attend to the things I've committed myself to do, but please stick with me while I try to get better. I've been given 3 weeks and then if I'm still not better to go back.. I can't see how I'm going to be better in 3 weeks. I am not convinced on their diagnosis to be honest! 

Anyways, onto less boring things.. like Second Life related things.. like this awesome outfit from Tic Tot Toe aptly named "Nope" which is exactly how I'm feeling right now. It's a cool outfit that seems unisex to me and will fit baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. I am loving the hat in particular, which isn't something I normally say. The sneakers are cute too - with little wings on them! ♥

I am looking forward to Christmas.. getting excited about it already. I know I'm a little early, but I can't help it! I'm also looking forward to seeing what events in Second Life come up.. I bet it's going to be a cracker! See what I did there? Cracker? Christmas cracker? Nevermind.. lol

♥ Super Minions ♥

Got three "Super Minion" outfits to show you today from Enchanted Bowtique. From left to right, we have: Captain America, Black Widow and my personal favorite.. Batman. What's not to like about these outfits? You got superheroes and minions combined.. that's an epic combination. Each outfit comes with a sweater, jeans and sneakers.. and fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars.

I'm also showcasing some awesome bubble pipes from Tic Tot Toe. I'm in love with them! I feel all sophisticated with my pipe in my gob while I mull over things with a perplexed expression... okay, I can pretend I'm like Sherlock Holmes or something - but in reality.. I'm just a kid with a bubble pipe! Don't burst my bubble, okay?! Anyways, these awesome pipes are up for grabs at this round of "Bro I Gatcha" and there's a lot of colours to collect.. including some super cool rares. I'm bound to show off more of these over my next posts, because they are just nifty.

I'm also showing off a couple of things from Tiny Trinkets.. a really neat and quirky helmet which has a super awesome feature.. lasers shoot out when you left click in mouse look. How cool is that?! I'm also wearing a few more of Tiny Trinkets' masks.. because they rock and what better time to wear a mask than this?!

♥ Yeah, that's what I said ♥

Second post of the day and showing off an epic shirt and leggings combination from Little Nerds. The shirt has on it, "Yeah that's what I said" - hence the title of my post.. because I'm that original sometimes! Lol. 

So... it means so much to me when I get feedback on my blog or know that people actually read it.. I was contacted by someone just today who told me they always read my new posts and that made me feel all warm and fuzzy (you know who you are!) Thank you from the bottom of my heart.. sometimes I spend too much time comparing myself to other bloggers and thinking I'm not good enough or that nobody really reads what I write, so when I get confirmation that people actually do it is such a nice feeling and when I feel like giving up it's those moments that see me through. I had another person contact me a while back and she said she loves my blog and that contact was out of the blue too and much appreciated. Thank you to all the people who read my blog and for those who reach out to me, you are awesome ♥

Another topic came up in the same conversation today though.. and I thought I'd share what I said. I got asked how I pick what stores I blog.. so if anyone is interested, here's the low down. At first when I started I just bought and blogged things I liked.. or if I saw a store I liked was looking for bloggers I applied.. but as my blog gained more interest people have started approaching me and if I like the stuff they make I'll say yes. So, if any stores out there want to know how people get bloggers that's how.. I think it's really flattering when stores approach me and I much prefer it when they do that to be honest. We're all pretty friendly and I usually spread the love with my fellow bloggers too because I have been known to recommend others if they tell me they're looking for a few to represent their store.

I do really struggle with comparing myself to other bloggers though.. their style, their look, how popular they are.. and it can really eat away at me sometimes. I am like that in real life though.. I always feel not good enough and compare myself to others and over-analyse things. It can be really draining and get me down. I sometimes look at another blog and feel insignificant in comparison and want to just close my blog down and go cry.. but then I have to remember I'm not in competition with these people. I started blogging because I like it and I shouldn't let anyone make me feel inferior in any way.. when I started there were very few ToddleeDoo blogs.. and as more and more start coming out of the woodwork, I have to remember I have been blogging for way longer and have come a long way from my earlier posts. I like to think I offer something a little different too because I often ramble in my posts and it comes from the heart and yes, it might not always be sunshine and rainbows.. but it's real.

♥ Laundry Day ♥

Okay, it's time to talk about this awesome shirt from high v. found at this round of Bro I Gatcha. Firstly, Bro I Gatcha is a gatcha event with boys in mind (about time!) and although it's technically for boys.. I still dig a lot of the stuff there. My style is very relaxed, one day I can be girly as anything, the next day I'm rolling in the dirt wearing camo.. which is why I was drawn to this event. This shirt and wrap around sweater are both from high v. and are so epic. I love them both, they go really well together and it's a great reminder to your parents that they need to do laundry. Be sure to check out these super cool gatchas from high v.

Now.. I love Batman if you didn't know already.. and I squealed when Tic Tot Toe shared they had a Batman car up for grabs at their gatcha at "Bro I Gatcha" event. It's a RARE, of course it would be.. cos Batman is truly amazeballs. Yes, I said amazeballs.. I've got issues. Anyways, it comes with a remote control for holding and of course the dinky little car.. I found you can either rez it or wear it.. and it goes around in a little circle on the ground. Pretty cool.

This shirt might say "I'm not cute" but the outfit definitely is.. it's called KUMA and is from the awesome Heffalumps. It comes with top, pants, hair bow, sandals, belt and face tattoo! My daddy said that I have football face with these lines, whatever that means.. anyways, it's so cute. I especially love the jeans as they say PANDA across them at the front.. and on the back pockets two little panda heads, plus PANDA at the cuff on one of the legs at the back. They are awesomely textured. 

I'll spare you my waffling on about randomness today.. have a cute picture instead!

♥ Algebra ♥

So, it's nearly 7am here and I've not been able to sleep.. I'm in too much pain, so, here I am blogging. 

This awesome outfit is from Little Nerds and made me chuckle because it's so true! "Another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once" - like seriously what is the point in algebra? I'm sure there's some math genius out there reading this tutting like crazy, cursing me and shouting at the screen that there is a point. Even if there is a point to it.. I've never needed it. It's probably for the best though, considering I left school at 13 in real life.. I'd be in so much trouble if a lot of what they taught in school was actually needed every day!

After many tries at Woodland Treasures Gatcha my mummy tried desperately to get me these Batty sneakers from Sassafras, to no avail. I decided to get my daddy to have a go at it and sure enough, he played until he got them for me. Yay! I never have any luck with gatchas.. everyone else sure seems to though! 

My relationship with my daddy is a little weird.. we weren't talking for a while and now we are again.. and it's like I never stopped talking to him. I missed him, but I didn't miss his lies.. so now I'm a bit on edge wondering when he's going to lie to me or my mummy next. We both accepting him back into our lives, mummy accepted him as a friend.. and I accepted him as my daddy that no longer lives with us. I just hope he doesn't expect too much of us.. baby steps.

I forgot about this rare sushi shelving thing I got from Birdy at one of the rounds of Chapter Four. It was in my inventory unopened.. I need to stop doing that! Anyways, finally opened it and it's cute!

Last day of Woodland Treasures Gatcha, so grab your goodies now.. including these awesome gamer typers from Tic Tot Toe. I'm holding up the black version, but there's tons of different ones to collect.

I haven't blogged Baby Pie for a while and although this is an older outfit and I've blogged the purple one of this before, I felt in the mood for something black.. so I broke this one out of my inventory. There's not a huge amount of dark coloured clothing for kids around.. and it's hard to do it well without it looking too grownup I think.. but Baby Pie does an awesome job of keeping it child friendly and dark. Love it.

My title is called "Paint a smile on" today.. because I painted the gym room in real life yesterday.. and the fact that I sometimes feel you have to pretend you're okay, when you're really not. I spend most of my life pretending that everything is fine. How many times do people ask how you are..? If everyone really told the other person, nobody would ever ask that question again. I find myself going, "Good thank you!" even if I'm sitting at my laptop in floods of tears.. nobody really wants to hear how everything sucks. The very few people that do genuinely want to know if everything is okay are the ones you want to stay strong for too.. I feel like a broken record when things aren't okay and I end up saying they're fine in the end so I don't bore my nearest and dearest to death going over the same old problems that aren't getting any better.

In other news I'm getting excited about The Arcade.. although my bank balance will not be!
