♥ It's a pirates life ♥

I am absolutely in love with this pirate costume from Viv.a! Kids. I'm showing a few pics of it too! It has to be one of the best costumes I've ever put on. 

Why do I love it so much? Well, for one it comes with a lot of stuff.. like the outfit itself, the tights, the boots, the eyepatch, the hat, the parrot, the sword.. and not only is the sword animated with a simple left click - it has tons of piratey sayings in it too (they are said by a guy though..) but there's loads in it! I was surprised at just how many different sayings there were. I was testing it out and I said out loud, "Wow, I don't think I've heard one repeat yet!" and that was after many click-ages. Yes, that's now a word. 

I have not got tired of swinging my sword around yet while saying, "Yar" and other piratey sayings - I also love the parrot.. if you click him he squawks too. This would be a perfect costume for Halloween.. or any time you just feel like being a pirate. I love it! The textures are awesome too. It's definitely my fave outfit from Viv.a! Kids so far. I should probably mention that it's only available for baby ToddleeDoo's.

♥ Bike Adventure and Plethora Goodies ♥

Hey everyone! Today's blog post features four pictures! I know, four! -Wipes sweat from her brow-

I put together a cute outfit made up from various creators, I hope you like it. I had fun putting this look together. Featuring a skirt from Soken Kids and shoes from Viv.a! Kids. As usual all creators will be found in the credits (at the very end).

I also have a couple of things to show you from Plethora. A super cute light, that's only 2 land impact.. would look cute in any room.. it even works. You can find it here: L’Amitie Summer Market It's an adult sim, just so you're aware before you go. It also comes up as being RACK Poses Adult Mainstore.. but the stalls are outside the store.

Then there's this awesome calendar, from Plethora, that's only 1 land impact.. and you can click on any panel to see it enlarged, example below. I put both of them in my room, think they make nice additions.

Finally.. worth a mention. Truth has a new hair at that same market that the light is at. I'm not wearing it in this pic.. but it's cute and unrigged, so thought other ToddleeDoo's might appreciate a heads up. No doubt I'll blog it soon.

♥ Lions and tigers and fairies.. ohmai! ♥

Disclaimer: There are no lions or tigers featured in this post, I just had to use that as a title as it was too perfect.

Yes, these adorable little cuties are from ohmai, found at The Arcade.. aren't they just precious? Because I have a habit of having to have everything.. naturally I needed the entire collection. I've had these sitting in my inventory just waiting to fly out and see the world. I got asked if I've named them all.. and if you're curious.. no, I haven't yet.

This adorable outfit is from Foox Kids. It comes in two colours, this is just one of the colour variations. It also has a hair bow (not pictured.. hair bows either work on me or they don't, depending on what style of hair I am wearing I think) Comes in baby and kids sizes and is just super cute with the little nerdy glasses. Love it. If you haven't checked out Foox Kids yet, you should go take a peek!

♥ Owl be loving it ♥

Today I have this cute owl outfit from Foox Kids to show you. It's called "Pink Flowery Set Stella" - there's also a green version, but I'm not a huge green fan (pity that's all gatchas seem to spit out first for me.. green, green, green!) 

It comes with the clothing layer HUD for top and shorts, a mesh cardigan, adorable little sneakers, hair bow and a binky (complete with sucking noises)

I broke out some of my owl related things from my inventory that I forgot I had.. including this awesome shoulder owl from d-lab. It's animated too. Cute! Also the owl forehead sticker I got from a gatcha once from Petite Bowtique, thought it was appropriate.. and the sparkly owl necklace from LPB. Phew.. I went about owl overboard. I had a hoot doing it though! Okay, that was terrible.. -slinks off ashamed of herself for saying that-

♥ Hideaway ♥

I find it really hard to come up with titles, so today's is also the title of one of my current tunes I have on repeat.. like right now. It's Kiesza - Hideaway. I've linked to the video at the bottom.. I never usually do that, but it's too good not to share. I love the dancing in it and it's so darn catchy! It's like the 90's are back.. but with an 80's feel. Love it.

Anyway, this outfit is from somewhere I don't usually shop (Bunny Boutique by Leigh).. actually this might be my first purchase from there.. but I couldn't resist as it's panda related and was up for grabs for 50 linden Friday. Super cute. I love the stockings.. they just made it that much more awesome. I was a bit sad that it didn't include shoes though and since I didn't actually have anything in my inventory that looked right with it I ended up without shoes. I know, me not having something to go with it?! That's just weird, right? Oh well, still rocking this look without shoes!

The hair is the new hair from Magika. It's called "Reading" and it's so pretty. I love it. It's tied up at the back and curly in the front.

My SL mummy is back now from her holiday.. yay.. it was nice to have someone with me trying to get into Collabor88 too. I got a couple of things from there, this round is much better for your grownup avis though.

♥ Office fun ♥

Yes, this is my office play room at Blog Spot HQ. I'm clearly slacking off and not doing very much.. this means we need more work, so come over and give us something to do.

I've actually not been doing an awful lot of anything to be honest. I did, however, do the Easter egg hunt over at LBM's Easter Fair.. if you go over and you're not sure what it is you are meant to be looking for.. you're looking for 12 small eggs, containing prizes. There's also a free bunny to be had if you join the group (I didn't have any space.. luckily it was transferable though.. so my grandma rescued me. Thanks grandma!) 

This outfit is from The Blossom (found at LBM's Easter Fair), it's an adorable casual plaid shirt and shorts set. I wore it and my daddy immediately put his plaid shirt on to match me. It's little moments like that which make me smile and I'm thankful for the awesome family I've got.  This cute horse ride I found at Chapter Four event by d-labs for an amazing 95 lindens! I had to snap that up, it even plays music as it goes around. Cute!

♥ Little Panda ♥

Yay, exciting news.. my parents got a holiday home on a roleplay sim. We now have our land with our house, the boat house, my mummy's work building (secret as she's not opened yet) and then we have my daddy's land with tigers, games, krafties area and my grandparents house.. and then we have our new home on this roleplay sim, a short walk from my Uncle Rich's house. 

My Uncle Rich (mummy's brother) is epic, even if he did have a mini freak out when I when he came home to a special drawing on his wall I did, lego all over the floor and a flooded bathroom. He made me clear it all up! How mean! I drew him a pretty picture and he made me scrub it off.. the lego everywhere was an accident, so was the bathroom flooding.. but.. nooooooooo I still had to clean it up while my Uncle, mummy and daddy all watched. Did they help? Nope! 

Oh, remember I said we were gonna trial with a little boy? Well, my mummy got a message from him and he said real life was too busy right now so he was sorry but he couldn't do it. Shame.. but the first teenager we had (that disappeared randomly and we just figured she didn't wanna trial with us) has come back and is trialing with her.. computer issues had seen her offline for a bit, but now we're gonna try again.

My mummy got two new awesome cars too.. we had fun driving round with me in my Sweet Baby car seat. Both cars are bright pink, which my daddy had a grumble at when he sat in it with us.. I think soon he might end up buying his own car and then there will be 3 in the driveway. 4 cars when Uncle Rich visits.. 5 or 6 if I put out my Sweet Baby Mini Coopers. I have one in red and one in pink. I think I might be a little bit spoilt having such an epic family, 3 sims we live on etc.. from rags to riches.. hopefully no more rags for this spoilt little Princess.

Anyway, That's So Kyoot had a moving sale.. so I rushed over there and picked up as much as my little arms could carry. This is "Little Panda" - I'm not wearing the hair bow, opted for a panda on my head instead.. y'know how it is. Hey hey!

Sorry it's been a bit since my last post.. ha, like people actually care! I've been a little distracted lately, lots of events and things to do both in world and real life.. a busy little bee. 

Been enjoying hanging out with my extended family in Second Life. I now have cousins and so far they're pretty awesome.. we all mostly just hang around playing Krafties listening to the grownups talk on voice. I really need to start a swear jar thing going though, I could be rolling in money by now if I'd had set one up before the grownups get together to talk. lol.

Anyways, have an outfit.. and isn't this bunny from Birdy just adorable?! It's little feet move.. and it's just so darn cute I want to kiss my screen - only I won't.. cos ew.. and germs.. and I've sneezed far too many times on my laptop for that to be healthy for anyone. Although, having said all that.. my cat gnaws on the side of my laptop sometimes, until I catch him and tell him off, so he thinks it tastes good! The outfit is from Buttons and Bows and don't we just love a bargain from there now and then? My walkie talkie is pretty awesome, that's from floorplan and was found at The Arcade.. my mummy and daddy both have one and we now can have private conversations without having to do a laggy conference chat.. and it makes people paranoid because they can see your walkie talkie going up and hear the sound, but not actually see what you say.. brilliant. Mummy and I abused the heck out of that when we first got them, poor daddy didn't have a clue we were talking about him in front of his face. Bless. Love you daddy! The pirate bunny is from the Arcade, he adds some edge to this look I think.. sort of like, I'm cute.. but don't mess with me!

Also, I need to take my own advice/rules today.. maybe these little sayings are meant for me really..

Also, quick shout outs to my awesome mummy (daddy too, even though he doesn't read), ZoZo, Auntie Ashlynn and anyone else that reads my blog. I love each and every one of you.. well, unless you know I hate you and there's only a handful of people I actually hate in Second Life.. congratulations if you're one of them, you must have really hurt me! lol. I dunno why I said that, I'm a bit loopy I think.. I've not been sleeping so good. I'm gonna end this post with words said to me from my daddy, "If you don't log off and go to bed I'm going to put you in timeout!" That's been said to me on more than one occasion now. lol

♥ When SL eats things.. ♥

Rahh! I wasn't going to log on today/tonight at all.. but was talking to my mummy on Skype about an incident yesterday where I couldn't eject someone that was naked on our land, so she went ahead and deeded the land to group so I would be able to.. only, in doing so, it sent back all my store to my lost and found. I only knew this after getting spammy e-mail notifying me of the fact. 

It also sent a load of mummy's store back to her and SL even ATE half of her store. She lost it entirely and Linden Labs were completely unhelpful in resolving it, just telling her that it was lost and there was nothing they could do to recover lost items. She was told to clear cache, which she had already done.. and still the items didn't reappear. Now I feel really guilty and like it's all my fault that this happened, I should have just said nothing about the naked man. Stupid naked man.. technically this is your fault! 

When things go wrong, they seem to go wrong spectacularly. I couldn't have had a worse day.. I shouldn't really say that of course, since I'm sure it'll just shove something even worse my way just to prove that it can.

Anyways, while I was standing around being useless in not being able to help my mummy put her store back together again.. I decided to take a pic and make a venty post about what just happened.. so here's the pic.. you already had the venty post:

♥ Rockin' Soken ♥

Thought this was an appropriate title sine my outfit is comprised of a Soken hoodie and Soken skirt. The skirt is adorable, sadly this picture obscures its awesomeness.. but trust me, it's cute. It's shiny and awesome. The hoodie says 1 Princess on it. Not sure if that's like a "Number 1 Princess" or "I am 1" kind of deal, but being two years old.. I took it as it means "Number 1 Princess"

Having a party tomorrow to celebrate my trial being over. My mummy has made it look awesome. She rented out some more land just for my party.. and she spent ages getting it all cute and awesome looking. We're going to have so much to do, there's gonna be story time, we're going to watch Monsters University, there's going to be a treasure hunt and we're gonna dance, play greedy and have fun. So exciting!! It's a costume party too.. even the grownups are dressing up. I hope the people I invited turn up.. so scared mummy gone to all this effort and it will just be me partying on my own because they couldn't make it or forgot or whatever. Already had 2 people say they couldn't make it, 3 people said they would.. the rest didn't get back to me! I really need more friends for this kind of thing.. haha.

Heritage Gatcha is now open again.. I went round with my mummy and mummy spoilt me. We were only looking at first for things to put in a party bag, but most ended up in my inventory. -Giggles- Thanks mummy, you really do spoil me! A lot of super cute things over there!

♥ Mousie ♥

Hey everyone!

So, in my quest for a new family.. my twin brother and I decided we both wanted separate things.. so he went back with an old family of ours and I put up a panel by myself. It's quite sad we're no longer siblings and I probably won't get to see him much anymore.. since it would be awkward for me to go there and that particular family I've not had any communication with since leaving. I had asked to be friends and was hoping that I'd get the odd message here and there, but nothing.. oh well, I'll keep them on my list for now. Hopefully now though I'll be able to find my forever family of my dreams.. here's hoping! I am very picky though.. but I know what I want is out there, I just have to find it.

Anyways, sad news out the way.. on to the cute outfit. Another gem from Baby Pie. One of my fav stores still. I have a few that are up there on my list and Baby Pie is one of them. I love how this outfit has a couple of different sets of mouse ears, ones with sparkles and one without. Personally I loved the sparkles (which is weird since I hate bling and things like that..) but the sparkles were cute! Was a bargain find too. I am loving the new hair I got from Magika too called Sweet. It was so easy to fit and gave you a variety of colours.. the brown tones are a little disappointing though, at least for me, this was the closest I could find to the shade I have been wearing the most lately. Other than that it's super duper cute. I'm really loving these tears from NODe too, I haven't taken them off since I bought them.. they're the most realistic tears I've seen in Second Life so far.. because of my love for them, this means I'm always going around crying at the moment.

Oooh and the Woodland Gatcha event reopened today.. I went by and of course the theme is "Family" to rub salt into the wounds a bit more. Nevertheless I went ahead and bought a few things, lots of poses for family too (even though I don't have one!) Oh woe is me! -Gets out her little violin-

Hi everyone!

I've been really addicted to playing Krafties in world lately, so that's what I've been doing with my time mostly.. I'm slowly understanding more and more about how to play the game and get the most from it and thus my addiction grows stronger. Luckily my entire family seem to be addicted to playing on some level too, so it works out pretty nicely. My brother is my to go to guru for anything related to it, he's been playing since Krafties hit the grid and has been so awesome at helping me figure it all out.

We're both sporting awesome Soken Kids wear. The overalls my brother have on were actually a freebie, how awesome is that? Totally dig nicely made freebies, because too often the freebies people put out there end up straight in my trash can.
Yep, I'm wearing panda overalls.. I know, I know, how predictable of me? But they're seriously cute and go well with my shoulder panda I got at a gatcha at D Labs ages ago. I love how thick Soken meshes are, they don't look paper thin and flimsy like a lot of meshes do.. these ones have a nice bulk to them and look more durable (which is what you need with kids.. lol) 
We're also both wearing Baby Swag sneakers.. I'm in love with their sneakers at the moment and they work really well with Soken clothes, which is always a huge plus. It can be a pain to find shoes to compliment some meshes sometimes, so it's nice when you can just walk into a store and know somehow you can make it work. 

I experimented with this picture by using a blue filter to give it that colder feeling, blurring it slightly and attempting some weird artsy thing with the border. Not 100% sure if I like it or not.. I find experimentation can go one of two ways, either you pull off something utterly amazing and try to remember what combination of buttons/sliders you used.. or it's an epic fail. I'm not a very good judge at when it's awesome or when it's a fail, so I put it out there for you lovely people to decide.

It's nice when you get some time to reflect on things, just really sit and think. I have too much time to think sometimes and like to keep myself busy to stop bad thoughts creeping in.. and today is no exception. I actually thought this pose was pretty apt considering the conversation I had in real life that keeps replaying over and over in my mind. I won't tell you the situation because that's a whole lot of complication etc in itself, so this might seem totally weird when it's out of the context I have put it into in my brain. I think that's what it is anyways.. 

Sooooo.. two people I know in real life were discussing horses and how if you fall off you should always get back on (they were trying to make me feel better about something and using it as a kind of metaphor) Anyway, I said quite seriously, "If I get on a horse the poor thing would collapse.." to which they both laughed and then looked at me pitifully going, "Oh Kaci!"
Now, I dunno what I expected them to say.. but I wish they had taken it more seriously. It kinda irks me that they just brushed it off as if I was being stupid. It's been replaying over and over in my head since.. and I feel like either they laughed because it's true to confirm my fears, or laughed because they think I'm totally stupid. I don't know. All I know is it has been going round and round ever since.. and thus this pose felt kinda appropriate. I can't be the only one out there to dwell on stupid things like that, can I? 

This outfit I'm wearing is from Candii Kitten (fast becoming another one of my go-to stores) It came with leggings, but I couldn't for the life of me get them to fit properly. I picked this outfit up super cheap at a one day sale thing. Random pink skunk not included. This adorable pose was from a gatcha at Little Moments. I am loving the poses there.

Yes, I'm back with pandas again. I love them.. so you'll probably see them often.

This outfit is very cute, I love the sparkly looking texture of the PJs.. I don't think it's even meant to look sparkly but to me it sort of does. Maybe spotty would be more accurate, but either way it's adorable. You even get a bamboo chew for your mouth and a bamboo stick to hold.. and it comes with panda ears and panda face paint that complete the outfit.

New hairstyle is from Wasabi Pills. I tried out a couple of different colour packs when I was there because I used to get blacks from there, but now I prefer to wear light-ish brown hair and had never had that from Wasabi Pills before.. so I bought a brown pack and a blonde pack. The darkest blonde was too light still and the lightest brown was too dark.. so, thanks to a friends quick thinking, I ended up tinting the darkest blonde one a little. I'm still not 100% happy with the colour, but it's better than it was. I love the style though, it's so cute.. although the fringe looks a bit weird at the front if you zoom in on it really close I thought. Maybe it's just me. Yay for Wasabi Pills providing unrigged mesh versions.. wish more hair stores would do this. I must have a weird head though because I had a bit of trouble fitting it.. but thanks to the HUD, some fancy editing I got it to how I like it..
