♥ Rest in peace ♥

I should be in bed, but I can't sleep.. it's almost 5:30am as I type this and I've still not managed to sleep. So.. defeated, I got up and decided I'd do some blogging.

I'm wearing a Halloween-esque dress from Soken Kids that fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars. The dress is in traditional Halloween colours of orange and black and has a cute kitty face on the front of it.. with a ribbon and bow directly beneath it. Aww it's purrfect.. get it? Yeah, I'm full of silliness when I've not slept. 

My hair is another style from Cute Bytes, this one is called "BambeeDoo" and while it's not a new style, it's new to my inventory. I love having a longer hairstyle that fits us.. and it's rigged specially for ToddleeDoo avatar, making it a perfect choice. The hair looks thick too, which is different to most other hairstyles I see.

I've got a cute batgirl hairband on from Tiny Trinkets too, which I love. These batgirl hairbands can also be found with orange bows instead and resize easily with a simple click. I really wanted to blog something Batman related with it.. but sadly nothing of the sort happened to cross my path.. so I succumbed and blogged it regardless. I hate when I have an idea of what I want to do with an item and yet I can't fulfill it.. but then on the flipside when I can it's awesome!

This pose I got from Say Cheese I found at Tricky Treats Gatcha Village.. and now in my head I have "Rest in peace" song from Buffy because it just reminds me so much of it for some reason. You all get to listen to what is currently swirling around in my noggin as I write this as I'm including it after the credits.. much to your delight or displeasure I'm sure!

♥ Beary Awesome ♥

Check out this adorable outfit from Heffalumps. I love it, just so cute! It comes with the sweater and shorts set, copper bracelet, copper bangle, bobble hat, socks HUD and boots. It fits ToddleeDoo baby avatars. I love the little bear on the sweater, he's so sweet.. and not only that but it's textured really well. 

Still wearing the Little Rose skin from Little Nerds, it's so cute and very baby like (at least I think so) it goes really well with my baby teeth too. 

I'm posing with an old bear I got from Birdy/Alchemy and my very first mesh creation (the bear) he's a bit nooby but I'm still super proud of him.

♥ Found a Pumpkin ♥

You may have noticed I've updated my layout.. I had that one for like two years, so it was time for a change. I think this new layout is easier to read and pretty cute too.. no doubt I'll tinker with it here and there until I'm fully happy with the changes.

Anyways, my awesome pullover I'm wearing today is from Minuet - which are available at The Flea Market. It fits baby and kid sized ToddleeDoo's and says on the front "The sisterhood of the traveling brooms flying into the night on magical adventures" and there's a witch on a broom, with a cat on her back.. in front of a big moon. It's perfect for Halloween. 

I'm still wearing the "Little rose skin" from Little Nerds. I love it right now.. I keep changing up my skins so much.. but while you can't change yours in real life and you can in Second Life.. so why not?!

I'm wearing cute devil horns with little bows on and a mask too, both from Tiny Trinkets. The masks are in a gatcha and there's all sorts of cool ones up for grabs! This rare mask is pretty neat with the neon bolts on it.

Have you been to Tricky Treats Gatcha Village? It seems a little smaller than the one I blogged last year.. everything is 25 lindens though, which is pretty awesome. I picked up a few bits there, including this cute pumpkin pose from Same Love.

Oh, how cool is this skeleton kitty from Snowflake designs? It comes with holdable and walkable version.. both for kid and adult sizes. It even comes with a HUD so you can change the face of the kitty mask to one you like.. I'm digging the traditional skeleton face though.

In non related news.. more specifically real life news.. my fiance finally ordered my engagement ring.. so I'm pretty excited about that.. I felt the need to share! He proposed in April.. so it's been a while being ringless.. can't wait! ♥

Hey, it's just me again.. 

I can't sleep, it's just gone 6am here and I'm still awake so I decided I'd do another post!

This outfit is from Buttons & Bows and only cost like 1 linden on the marketplace. Bargain! Sadly it's only for baby Toddleedoos though, sorry to all you kid ones.. not sure why you get left out so much.

Anyways, it's really cute and comes complete with kawaii head pumpkins! I used a pose from {Sweet} which I got out of one of the gatchas at Tricky Treats Gatcha Village.

♥ Riding family out ♥

Caution: Long boring ramble/rant ahead.. skip to final paragraph if you came just for the outfit info.

So, I got my wish in a way.. I am officially born, since that family I was waiting on being born into has failed. Long story short, my brother left over some drama with another family member, so I followed him. Twins stick together after all. I think maybe we're doomed family wise, we've been through so many.. as much as we both just want to give up and be content by ourselves, somehow we feel we -need- parents.. so we continue our search to find that forever family that fit with us. 

We both have our share of issues, so maybe that is what makes it difficult.. plus we're online a lot and some kids manage to stick it out long term with their parents because they're hardly ever on. Kinda hard to annoy your family or be annoyed by your family when you only come on once in a blue moon, of course you're gonna be long term family! In real life you don't get the luxury of picking and choosing your family, so if things are bad.. you either cut that person out of your life and move on (which I've done with a number of people in my RL family cos they're... well.. I can't say the word in my PG blog, but I'm sure you get the idea) but at least on SL if you don't get on with your family, you can just go find another and hope for the best again.. you don't have to stick around and try to make it work. 

I think if that drama hadn't of happened, we'd have left over something else anyway. It seems the trial period was amazing and then after it was official, it went downhill rather rapidly.. those trials are very deceptive. It's kinda like social services coming over to your house to check everything is okay and the parents clean everything up, smile and act like everything is awesome and then when they leave world war three breaks loose! Okay, maybe an extreme comparison.. but you get where I'm going.

Little bit annoyed too that we left nice messages on Skype for the parents to say why we were leaving and we were sorry and thanked them for having us etc.. and we didn't hear anything back, not even an offline IM in Second Life. We even stayed up late waiting for a response on Skype, which never came.. I was getting so tired so I said to my brother on Skype, "I'm going to check Second Life website to see if they're on" and yep, sure enough they were.. they were just ignoring our message. I think if they truly cared they'd have messaged us back and tried to get us to sort it out or at least acknowledged what we had said. Oh well.. guess that proves too that it just wasn't meant to be.

Anyways, back to the drawing board.. again. I think from the start of this blog you've now witnessed 3 different families. We're not kids in it for the money or anything either.. our last family we asked for nothing from them, why would we? We both sell things and make our own money and if we want something we buy it.. I even had land I rented and paid for myself just for my breedables so I don't have to use up my parents prims. I didn't ask for money for my store rent either. If people gift me things that's their choice, but never will I ask for anything. So, for those people out there that think all kid avatars want is money.. that's really not true at all. Sure it can be for some kids.. I've seen my fair share of kids that look all noob, go to an adoption agency, get adopted.. get their parents to give them money to make them look better etc.. they transfer the money over to their alts and disappear off their kid. So, I'm not saying it doesn't happen.. but we're not those kind of kids!

Sorry, I'm ranting.. on to the main point of this post, which I'm sure is why you looked in the first place.... THE OUTFIT! 

This particular outfit is from Baby Pie and I love it. It's very this time of year and looks adorable. It goes well with this hair from Millie Bee too and the mittens from Click. The boots are also part of a fatpack of different colours at Baby Pie. I had to get them too.. 75 lindens for a whole bunch of boots like this in different colours, yes please! Sorry about the photoshopped in background, but the land my breedables is on is surrounded by ugly things and it's hard to find nice places that allow you to rez. I didn't feel like taking pictures in my store either, that's just weird.

♥ Tricky Treats Gatcha Village Preview Pictures Part 2 ♥

First up we have these awesome haunted houses and holdable voodoo dolls from Petit Coeur. I love the haunted houses, the one on the left is a rare one. The doll I'm holding is rare too.. Voodoo Doll Little Devil (RARE) you can't resize the doll unfortunately, but with a bit of positioning I managed to not get too much clipping going on. The doll in the next picture is Voodoo Doll Rainbow. How awesome do they look? I love them.

 

 

Up next we have these super cool ghosts from Baby Pie. You get a head alpha so you can be completely invisible underneath with some minor tweaking with your ToddleeDoo HUD of course.

Next up, we have a whole bunch of different skates for you to collect from Soken. They come in ToddleeDoo and Kids. I don't blog Kids stuff, so I'll just show you the ToddleeDoo ones, but I'm pretty sure the Kids ones are exactly the same only bigger. They come with a cool skating animation and a handy resize script. Plus two versions baby and kid ToddleeDoo so there's not too much messing around, which is always awesome. Pretty sure I'm gonna love skating around in these.

 And lastly, we have these cute pixel bracelets from Kawaii. Come with a resize script and a few different designs for you to collect. Awesome sauce!

♥ Tricky Treats Gatcha Village Preview Pictures Part 1 ♥

Hi everyone! I was lucky enough to get to go in early and blog for thisTricky Treats Gatcha Village. Some designers even sent me their goods to show you what will be on offer for you to snap up at the gatchas! I'm so excited! This is going to be a long post with MANY epic pictures.. so.. pre-warning.. Anyway.. here we go..

First of all, the sim itself is set out all spooky with a haunted house. Here's some pics of the sim itself.. not to those who get creeped out with creepy sounds, turn your volume down before landing there are definitely creepy sounds! But the sim itself looks pretty awesome:

 

  

 

First up,  from Pixelverse we have an awesome Hobbes Lunchbox, super cute. Who doesn't love Calvin and Hobbes? You can hold it like a proper lunch box, so it's not only adorable.. it's functional too. I wonder what other lunch boxes you can win. Also there was this cute dalmations clock! I can't wait to see what other clocks are on offer, as cute kids clocks are definitely on the back burner in world it seems.. but I think they're an adorable necessity in any kids room! Lastly, from Pixelverse, check out these amazingly awesome red panda shoes! I was totally making squee sounds when I opened these. Even the box they came in is nice! If these are anything to go by the rest of the collection is going to be great.. I have a feeling I am going to be so broke by the end of this event.

 

  

Marmelade has this awesome spooky set for you to lay your hands on! All different pieces to make up this fab set. The chair even has poses in it.. but I'm not using one for this particular pic, I decided on using my own. In this pic I'm dressed as Batgirl.. (not at the event) but super cute and from That's So Kyoot. 

Balaclava! made some awesome 24h Party Headbands.. including the following: Carribbean SAND, Disco RASPBERRY, Pop Rock WHITE, Retro Techno BLUE. They are awesome.. although the songs/dances within the headbands are short I really liked them. Different and something fun to do with your friends as they work like dancers if you all have them. Super fun. I also think the headband designs are pretty awesome. My personal fav would have to be the Disco RASPBERRY one followed by the Pop Rock WHITE one.. followed by the Retro Techno BLUE.. oh who am I kidding? They're all awesome. Can't wait to see what other ones are available.

Next up Bug a boodle have some awesome sauce director chairs for girls and boys. They have really neat poses in them too. I purposely didn't sit in them or it obstructs too much of the awesomeness.. and you've seen plenty of me on my blog and I'm trying to show you the chairs themselves. But trust me you won't be disappointed with the awesome poses.. there's even one called "Stuck" and it made me look like I was stuck in the chair.

I have awesome news, I was picked to blog for the Tricky Treats Gatcha Village. Thank you so much for picking me! So excited and really looking forward to it! I really didn't think I stood a chance, I know there are lots of bloggers out there. Not sure how many were picked though, so I'm sure I'm not the only one. But.. regardless.. that's exciting! Anyways, onto the outfit of the day. I'm wearing this absolutely adorable outfit from Baby Pie. Love, love, love her stuff. I didn't think I could rock the "nerdy" look.. but I think I do! It comes with the cute hairband and glasses. I also picked up these super cute pigtails from Ploom, Alexis. I think they work perfectly with this look. The pose is from Puppy Love and was won at one of the many gatcha events (I wish I could recall which, they need to put a notecard in with them saying where it was from.. lol) Believe it or not that is supposed to be chalk in the bucket.. some seriously chunky chalk going on! I don't think I will be able to draw any panda pictures with it.. maybe that's why I look so happy though, knowing I have the biggest chalk ever. Take that regular chalk! ♥
