♥ So, it'll soon be Christmas.. ♥

Yay, it's Christmas soon! I've been soooo busy in real life it's not even funny. I've been thankful for the moments where I've been able to sit down for longer than five minutes and have some time without even thinking about Christmas. 

Had to go visit family which was fun, especially when the kids have the chicken pox and stinking colds. I don't have the best health, so hopefully I don't get a cold or shingles.. (though shingles is usually more common to get if you're over 50, which I'm not) My niece decided to blow her nose and then give me the tissue as a gift.. lovely. 

I've been really tired too, but my new medication I'm on doesn't help.. that makes me pretty drowsy. So, between sleeping and Christmas preparations etc I've not had a whole lot of time for the things I usually enjoy. 

Planning to do a lot of baking from Christmas eve onwards.. I have a birthday cake to bake Christmas eve, I still have the gingerbread house to make that I volunteered to do (stupidly) and there's these chocolate things I said I'd do too. I think basically between cooking Christmas dinners, birthday party food, cakes, biscuits etc.. I'm gonna be camped in the kitchen for about 3 days. I think I'd rather be there than waiting at the table though.. everyone goes mad at Christmas.. it does my head in. The shops close for a few days and everyone panic buys. It's not the end of the world people!! It's like 3 days.. you really do not need 24 pints of milk and 100 toilet rolls etc to see you through 3 days!

If I say Christmas one more time in this, I think I might have an aneurysm.. I'm gonna try to refrain from saying it, instead I'm going to call it festivities from now. 

Anyways, back onto the main reason for my blog. Second Life stuff! I wish I had more to write about Second Life things, but sadly I don't.. my family had a blip and almost split up; but for now it seems to be rectified (for how long though remains to be seen)

♥ Shopping, Shopping, Shopping ♥

Due to the strong winds and flooding in my part of the UK, I had no electricity for about 14 hours! Everything in my home runs off electric.. even my oil fired heating requires electric to start. I had no heating for all that time it was freezing in my house, I thought I was dying. I kept hearing ambulances whiz past and I felt like I might need their assistance too. I could see my own breath just breathing in my house.. you know it is cold when you can see your own breath. I couldn't make a hot water bottle as the kettle and stove are electric.. microwave is electric too. It was the worst 14 hours ever.. I'm quite proud I made it through it.. parts of my area are a mess though.. so much has been damaged by this storm and flooding. We were told of one lady who was stuck in the middle of power lines that had come down. A tree toppled over and had another set. It was chaos!

Anyway, today I woke up early to try to make up for lost time yesterday.. managed to do some chores (WITH THE HEATING ON FULL BLAST) and ordered some real life Christmas presents. I'm having SL withdrawal though, due to being so busy RL right now I've not been on much at all. I'm sorry mummy and daddy, I love you and miss you both lots. Soon as I have time to sit down for longer than half an hour I will be logging on!

Whenever I have been on though, I have done what I do best.. and that is shop! Here is me looking cool shopping at Bubbles Lane, where my store, *Awwdorable*, mummy's store, Oh! Couture and ZoZo's is located.. along with stores and stalls available for rent. There's a park and a gatcha yard sale store too!

Next we have this cute Bunni outfit from Sew Cute. The hoodie has little bunny ears on it. Cute sneakers and awesome combo of hoodie with shorts and tights. Very cute look!

Next we have Glitter Outfitters with these snuggly pretty Nordic Cheetah boots. 6 different colours! Check 'em out, collect them all, they're awesome.

Up next we have {DemDoe} with a couple of awesome sweaters. Also up for grabs are some super cute ear muffs. These aren't the only sweaters to get your hands on, just a couple that I really liked. A giraffe one and a kitty one. Super cute.

♥ Being a Princess ♥

Sometimes life gets crazy in RL and SL and you need to take a step back and just be someone else for a day. 

So when this happens I tend to like to pretend I'm a Princess.. any excuse to dress up in a big sparkly gown and I'm all over it! 

This particular sparkly dress if from Sew Cute.. and it is soooo cute. It comes with a crown and a wand (which isn't shown here) but I love how it's all sparkly all around me. 

Just when I decide to be a Princess our RP sim we're on decides it's going to have a big storm.. not the ideal weather for wearing this.. lol.. my mummy and I took a walk in the rain under the cover of her umbrella.. and we found people huddled around power lines that were down in the street. Lots of emergency vehicles and concerned residents standing around.. we ended up going back home before I caught a cold.

In other news, I'm looking to be joining in Wacky Wednesday.. yay! Keep your eyes peeled for that.
