My SL mummy hit the nail on the head earlier tonight, I say tonight 'loosely' as it's now 5:21am as I type this.. anyway, she said that when I'm on my own I hit self destruct. I do. I really do. I'm not scared to admit that I'm a little messed up.. but most of us that are on Second Life are, aren't we? There's usually a reason that draws us in.. otherwise we'd be living our real lives and not sat in front of a computer. I know, for me personally, if I wasn't as screwed up as I am I would be doing so much more with myself than sitting here. That's not a stab at anyone that does who isn't screwed up in some way.. it's just the way it would be for me. 
I digress.
So, yeah, I hit self destruct when I am on my own. I struggle a lot more when I'm on my own. For some reason, not only do I struggle - but I make it my mission statement to destruct in every way possible. I won't go into detail, because it's depressing.. but.. I did destruct big time tonight. I guess that's why I'm still awake.. reflecting on everything. Right now my real life fiancee is away and when he's away I hit rock bottom. When he is here he keeps me relatively okay and won't let me fall too hard. We fight though.. sometimes about my issues, sometimes just because couples fight about dumb things. We once had an argument about who didn't close the bin lid in the kitchen.. I wish I was joking. So, as you can see, we may not always see eye to eye on everything; but he is my rock.. one for whom I cling to when things get stormy. When he's not here, my cat isn't much of a substitute. I love my cat, don't get me wrong.. but he's not the best conversationalist. I think we all need someone from time to time.. and when you're on your own it sucks. If anyone reads this and goes through a tough time and needs someone to reach out to.. reach out to me. I'd rather anyone reach out than feel as alone as I did earlier. It did make me think about how many of us are going through our own personal struggles.. how many of us are fighting off our own demons daily and why we do the dumb stuff we do when things get bad in our minds. Yeah, deep, huh? Anyway.. we shall now resume our normal blog stuff.. 

Onto the outfit stuff you all came here for! My outfit today is from LVS KIDS and it's a gorgeous formal gown called "Formals Family Night" There are two different versions you can buy.. the one I'm wearing, or version 2 which is only sparkly looking on the top half. I love a bit of bling though.. uh.. not the scary SL bling, the flashing LOOK AT ME I'M A NOOB bling. No, no, no.. I mean that I like a bit of sparkle, glitter.. whatever else you want to call it. It's a floor length gown (so you could get away with no shoes if you wanted) that fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars.

I'm wearing some awesome earrings from Adore, which are available at this current round of Woodlands. They are called "Children's Starter Earrings" I love them! They come with a HUD to choose different colours, silver or gold metal, resize and more (see below) They are perfect little studs to add a subtle bit of sparkle to your outfit and jazz up your ears in the process. I can see me wearing these a lot! Grab them now because they're currently set at a promo price of 75 lindens.. after this round they'll go up in price... so hurry, hurry, hurry.

♥ Desire ♥

It's been an exciting and scary few days! I'm sorry I've not posted, but real life has been rather demanding. In my last post I was talking about navigating the complicated world of mortgages in real life.. and sure enough that's taken off in it's own whirlwind. We put in an offer which was rejected twice and then third time it was accepted. We finally compromised on a price set by them.. which was slightly higher than our second offer, but not the full asking price. Anyway, they gladly accepted that, which is the main thing! So.. that means I've been lost in a sea of paperwork and sorting out finances. It's been pretty crazy and I've not exactly had my head in the right place for Second Life. I took a break from it over the weekend and yesterday actually, didn't even log on once.. which is unusual for me.

As for Second Life.. I woke up this morning to the exciting news that I've been accepted as an official blogger for Woodlands. So happy! I'm really loving blogging events, so that's what I'm going to concentrate on the most - apart from the odd thing here and there of items I want to blog at my discretion of course. 
I now blog for Hello Beautiful, Woodlands and Sweet Tooth Fair (which is coming soon) I applied to blog for La Boutique too.. but I've not heard back from that one yet. If I don't hear anything, then we'll know it was a no I guess!

Right.. onto my gorgeous look of the day. I'm wearing a beautiful dress from LVS Kids today.. it's not a new outfit, but it's new to my inventory and it is so pretty that I knew I had to blog it. It's called "Lil Sister Tiffany" It fits both baby and kid ToddleDoo avatars (as it resizes easily) and it has a flexi bottom.. and dresses/gowns are the only thing that I don't mind wearing prims for.. anything else and I'd cry uncontrollably wearing it. Well.. maybe that's an exaggeration, but I wouldn't be very happy about it! This dress doesn't come with shoes, but that's easily fixed.. I'm sure everyone has a pair that will go! I absolutely love the dresses and gowns from LVS Kids and I hope I see more of them in the future. Mesh is great, but you can't beat a lovely gown or dress from time to time.. if it's done really nicely.

♥ Seeing Red ♥

No, I'm not angry.. I just struggled to think of a good title - that just kept popping into my head.

I'm wearing a gorgeous dress from LVS KIDS today. I've been meaning to blog this for ages and with one thing or another haven't gotten around to it. Today it's getting an airing. It comes with cute little shoes, which the poofy-ness of the skirt is unfortunately hiding.. but trust me, they're adorable. This is a great formal dress.. or it would make an amazing bridesmaid/flower girl outfit. I love the deep red colour and the big bow on the back.

The shape and skin I am wearing are from Bad Seed Boutique. In my last post I showed "Lacey" off by showing how it looks on the TweeneeDoo shape it comes with. Today I'm showing it off on the smallest shape it comes with (since the Lacey skin comes with multiple shapes - so you can grow if you wish) It's very detailed and the lips are especially nice. It's fantastic quality, comes with various tattoo layers, eyebrow colours.. and the shape is pretty adorable too. The shape of the face I particularly like.. the chin area is different to a lot of shapes I've seen and so the uniqueness of it makes it awesome.

Decided to break out of my usual blonde tones and go back to my original brunette colour.. I achieved this by digging out an old style that doesn't see the light of day any more.. but it's very pretty, yet, messy (much like the majority of D!va styles) Perfect for us little divas.

Okay, so I'm in the Christmas spirit. I'm getting super excited now and singing Christmas songs and everything.. I'm even beginning to annoy myself.

What better way to get into the festive spirit than to put on a beautiful formal Christmassy gown from LVS KIDS. I'm actually showing off two versions of it.. because they are both so pretty. These would be perfect for Christmas day.. once you've ripped open all your presents and finally get out of your PJs that is!

♥ Here comes the Bride ♥

Now first and foremost let me just preface this post with, "Mummy I'm not really getting married I'm just playing dress up!" in case my mummy sees this and freaks out. 

I had to show off this gorgeous outfit from LVS Kids in two pictures because it's so beautiful.. it's called "Lil Bride" (and although not a new outfit, I love it anyways) it comes in a variety of colours.. but since bride is in the title I figured that white would be best. It will easily fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars. It doesn't come with shoes, just a heads up! I am wearing some shoes I got from{anc} - but my dress hides them.. but they're pretty little flats that go with this look perfectly. Although this is a dress that is labelled "Bride" I feel you can get away with it as a bridesmaid or just as a beautiful princess dress.

Isn't it every little girls dream to get married and wear the big white dress at some point? I've always wanted it in real life.. and you know every detail of the day has to be perfect. I may not be old enough in Second Life to do it, but I can sure pretend.. yay for make believe. Anyways, this is me in the church waiting for my groom.. who actually never comes.. but.. hey! That's make believe!

I've got a gorgeous princess-esque gown from LVS KIDS to show you today. As you all probably know the only time I'll wear flexi or non mesh clothing is for gowns and costumes.. they have to really catch my eye to make me want them too. That was the case with this gown called "Fairy Tale Dreams" from LVS KIDS and it definitely has made me feel like I was in a fairy tale. The skirt portion of the outfit is resizable too, so it's perfect for baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. It comes with shoes too, though they are hidden by the length of the gown. Awesome gown for your Princess roleplays.. or even as a formal dress.. or even a potential bridesmaids dress.. or even.. yeah, yeah, you get the picture!

I accessorised with a lovely scepter from a gatcha at Winter Ravens, but the store is going to be closing down soon.. so I'd grab things you like from there before it does. I'm really hoping it's only going so she can reopen for bigger and better things.. or for a fresh start. It makes me sad when good creators up and leave.

If you haven't noticed, a lot of my pictures have been taken away from my home sim lately.. I felt that I had over-used my surroundings just a touch.. so today I travelled to an incredibly beautiful sim called "The Sanctuary by the sea" to take this picture. It's amazing there, I highly recommend a visit and it is an awesome place to take fantastic pictures. Definitely a place that I'd revisit in the future.

♥ Hi, Wanna Play?! ♥

This is a little different from my usual style of pictures.. I was very experimental and went a bit crazy. I think it looks pretty cool though!

I'm wearing a very epic bloody white dress outfit from LVS KIDS. It's called "HALLOWEEN - JAYDDON'S BROKEN DOLLIE" and although it's an older outfit it is still pretty awesome. It will work with both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's (with a bit of stretching) It comes with the scary face tattoo and syringes in the back. This is definitely a cool outfit for Halloween.

I accessorized it with this creepy zombie head and knife from Tic Tot Toe, which can be found at this round of "All the little things" Every so often blood gushes out from the head; which is both disgusting and amazingly neat at the same time. Love it.

I'm not wearing my usual blonde hair for this picture, it needed something darker.. so I went back to my roots.. no pun intended.. and dug up some hair from when I used to only wear black hair and snapped this pic in the playroom.. so.. the question becomes.. do you wanna play?

So, I'm on a roll.. fourth blog post of the morning.. woo! I've got this awesome costume that will be perfect for Halloween to show you from LVS KIDS. It's an older outfit, but it still rocks and looks epic. If you're deciding what to wear for Halloween this should definitely be considered. It comes with clothing HUD, skirt, socks, face tattoo and back key (which actually turns) Will fit both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's with some adjustment. I actually made the skirt a teeny bit smaller for myself. I'm thinking this costume was inspired by Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" - which just happens to be one of my favorite movies so naturally I had to show off this costume.

I probably just committed some kind of cosplay crime by wearing wavy hair with it, but I just don't have any long straight styles.. so apologies. Hair makers of Second Life.. please make some long straight styles for us ToddleeDoo's.. sincerely.. me. Thanks!

Oh, big news.. I got accepted to blog the Trunk or Treat event. Yay! I was so surprised and wasn't expecting it because I just knew they were going to be inundated with applications from both grownup avis and kid avis. I'm very honoured that I was picked alongside other awesome ToddleeDoo bloggers and can't wait to show you all what goodies are going to be there.

♥ If I could save all the animals ♥

If I could save all the animals, I totally would. I'm a sucker for animals.. I find myself getting really upset when bad things happen to them.. so when I saw these piggies from Birdy all bundled up in a gatcha machine at this round of Chapter Four I just knew I had to rescue them and bust them out of their gatcha confines!

I'm wearing this adorable little "Fairy Princess" outfit from LVS KIDS while rescuing these cute piggies. The outfit comes with a cute top, shorts and jellies. It's very pretty, nicely textured, with lots of different fairies on it! Not only does it come in baby size, it comes in kid size too and the jellies are resize script enabled.. bonus!

In other news, I was playing Sims 4 all day today.. and I'm still not totally sold on it, but I did get to build a rocket and send a sim to space.. which was pretty nifty and amused me when he came back with alien parts.

Last night I watched a video that someone linked on their facebook that made me think.. it was a documentary on Second Life (it was really dated though!) Anyway, there was a lady on there who was spending all her time with this one guy in Second Life.. and ignoring her real life husband and children. It made me kinda sad, for her husband and her kids.. but most of all sad for the fact that I related to her.. although I don't have children and I'm engaged in real life, I could understand the needing to escape and how much better things are in Second Life.. and how easy it is to get absorbed and ignore everything else that's going on around you. Made me think a lot. I've had my fiance say to me before, "It's like your computer is more important than me and our cat" - well, actually.. he didn't exactly say that.. he said (while speaking to the cat, but in earshot of me) "It's like mummy thinks the computer is more important than us.." Yes, our cat is our child.. don't judge us! LOL. Anyways, a lot of it hit home and although I'm not cheating on him with anyone in the game like these people are.. ♥ Angelic ♥

I have this beautiful "Angel" costume to show you from LVS Kids. It's gorgeous. I tried to make this picture look as heavenly as possible to suit this adorably angelic looking costume. 
It comes with the pretty white dress, amazing wings and an awesome circlet. The wings really are amazing, I love them so much. The circlet is a nice touch too and makes a nice change from the typical halo we see when it comes to this type of costume.

Again I'm wearing the skin by FreshFace that's available at Wicked Wonderland Fair until the 1st of October. It's so cute! I know it's not exclusively a ToddleeDoo skin, but it works perfectly for us I think.

How excited was I when my friend Jelliee and her parents invited me to a restaurant with them. I quickly threw together this outfit as I didn't realise I was going to need to change and get all formal until like 5 minutes before the reservation. I think I did pretty good considering I rarely dress formal.. luckily I had the dress in my inventory from LVS Kids just begging to be worn anyway. It was a 50 linden Friday one too.. bargain.

My nails are again from ZOZ Kids, they always deserve a close up. They are out of a basic polish set, so just plain and glossy.. which is always good because you can almost always find something to go with them.

I had fun dining out, even if I did find every opportunity to be disruptive. Thanks Trin for also coming along and being my partner in crime for the evening. Huge apologies to Jelliee and her family though.. that's probably the first and last time you invite me to anything like that ever again.

♥ Relaxation time ♥

As you're all probably aware it was Mothers Day in the US yesterday. My mummy is in the US whereas I am not.. but I still tried to celebrate it with her anyways. Due to RL obligations she wasn't able to stick around for very long on Mothers Day itself, but today more than made up for it. I ♥ my mummy so much. 

I got my mummy a spa basket gift set thingy from Spronkwings for Mothers Day in her fav colour orange, along with some flowers in a mug, a "Mommie" bracelet and a really bad scribble of mummy and myself that I whipped up in photoshop. Oddly the lamest present (in my opinion at least) was the one that made mummy tear up (the bad drawing!) I hope you all got your mummy's some awesome gifts too! 

But this blog post is inspired by my mummy's quick thinking. Thanks mummy! She thought it would be awesome to use the spa basket gift set thing I got her for Mothers Day and have a girly relaxation day today. It was a super cute idea and was too good not to incorporate into a blog post somehow.

Mummy declared that I had to have a bath first before the true pampering could begin. I hate baths! I wasn't going to go down without a fight!
