♥ Feeling Pretty ♥

This will be my last post of today I think.. I've somehow managed to churn out three posts even though I feel terrible! I think trying to keep my mind off how bad I feel has helped a lot though.. keeping myself busy, busy, busy. 

In other news I just passed 900 pictures I've uploaded to flickr. I think that's a pretty awesome number! Now to make it a thousand.

This outfit I'm wearing is so adorable, it's from des lunes and you can find at the very awesome event "La Boutique" right now. There are lots of different colour dungarees to choose from and lots of different colour/patterned undershirts to choose from too. I opted for the pink dungarees with the buggies tee. The tee goes great with the necklace and earrings set from ToddleTeeZ that's at La Boutique too.

My hair is new from Tableau Vivant which you can find at this round of Collabor88. I'm always really excited when I can shrink a hair down to fit me.. and this messy short style is super cute.

♥ Sophisticated ♥

First of all, let me preface this post with the following.. those of you who read what I have to say (as well as look at my blog pictures) are awesome. It keeps me wanting to write and share more.. so thank you. 

Anyways..

The last few days have been a swirl of figures in my real life. My fiancee and I are currently trying to navigate the treacherous path of mortgages. If you've ever done it, I'm sure you'll agree it's a lot to swallow.. especially since it's the first time we've done it. Yep, we're first time buyers.. and as first time buyers it's not been an easy path to follow, there's been a lot of conflicting information thrown at us along the way too. I think we're finally starting to get a grasp on things now, which is good.. especially because we've seen a house we are extremely interested in and want to put an offer in on. I've rented for 11 years and my partner has rented even longer than that (since he's older) So a place that is finally ours is more than a little overdue. It's an exciting and scary thing to do though.. and because there's lots of money involved you really have to think about what you are doing. You are bombarded with information and it can all be a little overwhelming. Calculating fees for solicitors charges, insurance, moving cost, stamp duty etc etc.. is a long and arduous process. No wonder I prefer being a toddler in Second Life.. being a grownup is just so hard! I know that this will be incredibly rewarding should our offer be accepted - but I also know that it can take a while for things to go through so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much (even though in my head it's already ours!) They say good things come to those who wait.. so I'm going to sit here and wait patiently for our offer to be accepted............. Hmm....... -drums fingers on the arm of my chair- Okay.. I'm bored of waiting now. 

So.. anyways, Second Life is good right now. Between Blogging and hanging out with my mummy I've done a little creating on the side. I hope to get back into creating a little more than I have been.. so Awwdorable will probably be seeking out events to participate in to get the name seen a little more. Watch this space! Not literally.. because this space is going to stay the same. Oh, you know what I mean!

As for my sophisticated look that I'm wearing today, it was all inspired around this cute pink coat dress from Little Closet that I got at La Boutique. This is an event that definitely has quality designers in and I pretty much snapped up nearly everything in this round.. so you'll be seeing more soon. 

Oh, before I close.. Happy St Patricks day! I'm sorry I'm a rebel and I'm not wearing green.. but green just reminds me of boogers. Happy shopping everyone! ♥

♥ Winter Kitty Cutie ♥

It's been a busy few days.. this weekend has been manic and I've hardly been able to be on Second Life at all.. lots of preparing for Christmas in real life. It's been pretty crazy. Luckily I have five minutes and thought I'd blog before I get to wrapping some more presents up.

I absolutely adore this outfit I've put together! So much so that I took three pics to share with you all. I was naughty and spoiled myself with a few things from Turducken and Little Closet. Tis the season of giving.. to myself.. apparently. 
With this adorable look I put on some super cute tights from Lil Big Me, which can be found at this round of Woodlands. These are the RARE kitten tights and they are just purrfect. Find these and other colours at the Woodlands gatcha event.

♥ Winter Curls ♥

Something a bit different for me today in this post because I normally do full body shots but today I felt the need to have a close up. I am in love with snow right now, so hence the snowy scene.. I'm probably going to bore you with snow soon.

Anyways, my jacket is from Little Nerds. It's a cute little puffer coat in mint with polka dots all over. It fits baby and kid ToddleeDoo and you can team it with your fave bottoms for a super cute snuggly look.

This very curly cute hairstyle I have on is from Cute Bytes. You can find it at "HullaBaloo Fashion Week".. which runs from the 22nd to the 30th of November.. in which store owners, that have stores on the HullaBaloo Sim, take part and offer 50% off their items. These special items can be found in front of each store.. how awesome! 
Anyways, back to this hair from Cute Bytes. It's called "Lilly" and can be found in a range of colours: blondes, blacks, browns, cartoon, reddish and whites. It has two tones in each pack and there are 16 colours of beanie to choose from. It's also resize scripted! Yay! They are only 90 lindens until the 30th November (so hurry) because after that they will go up to 180 lindens.

I didn't know pink and green went so well together until I put together this adorable froggy outfit from Soken Kids. Super cute short sleeved shirt which I teamed with cargo shorts.. both for ToddleeDoo's which you can find in baby and kid sizes.

I'm currently watching "Stand up to cancer" while I write this, which is a show raising money for cancer research, it's very emotional. I've been in tears a couple of times.. I've just seen a segment on a 19 year old that did a video blog type thing of her life with cancer.. and then after it finished there was text that she died 6 weeks after the video. I really hoped she was going to make it. So sad. It seems everyone knows someone that has battled with cancer these days. I know I have. If you or someone you know is fighting cancer, my heart goes out to you and I hope you or they win the battle.

♥ Noctis ♥

Trunk or Treat is still on and I can now reveal the landmark (I would have done so yesterday but I wasn't feeling well, apologies!) and there's loads of awesome goodies to be had, including a ton of freebies! I'm wearing a cute dress from Little Closet that you can find there, see my last post for the free bloody version. I love the detail on it. I've teamed this cute sailor dress with the free bat tights you can get at Trunk or Treat too from Turducken.

So, I've been wanting to blog this little guy I'm holding for a while now.. but when I got him he was a little too big. I messaged the creator of Oopsie (who was absolutely lovely and really wanted to help sort my issue out) she went above and beyond the call of duty yesterday and had me try out a whole bunch of poses with him to see which one would work best for my size. The creator of these cute "Noctis" creatures is going to be making a HUD for the poses so it's easy to manage over the next couple of days.. but I couldn't resist blogging him now. It definitely makes me want to get more now I know I can hold them.. there's a gatcha with lots of different ones in. I really want the panda one and the one with the bow.. but for now my calico one is adorable. They kind of remind me of Gremlins.

♥ Trunk or Treat Preview ♥

So I got four pictures to show you in this post because tomorrow Trunk or Treat opens its doors to the public.. and.. I went in today for a sneaky peek and grabbed up a whole bunch of goodies to show you.. and best of all, nearly everything was free. How epic is that?! 

The whole place has been nicely decorated with items and the odd gatcha placed behind cars, see last picture. So many freebies though, I was nicely surprised not only by the quantity of the freebies but of the quality too. ♥ Baconator ♥

I'm rocking a quirky fox shirt from Soken Kids.. don't ask me what it says on the shirt because I don't speak the language.. but who cares?! It could say something really obscure and I'd still love it.. because who doesn't love a fox playing an instrument? At least that's what it looks like to me anyways. 
I teamed it with these nicely textured "beigeCamper cargo shorts" also from Soken Kids and some cocoa boho sandals from Little Closet. 

Yep, I'm sporting my old brown hair for this look.. sometimes you have to go back to your roots. That's my new saying when I do that, in case you hadn't guessed already.

Have you been by the Candy Fair yet? Plethora has a load of awesome goodies up for grabs, I've mentioned a few of the bits you can grab before.. but the owner told me of a way to show off the stun halos (which being blonde in real life totally didn't occur to me and the owner is lovely enough to explain) all I had to do was turn the transparency down. Why didn't I think of that?! Sometimes I'm too special for my own good I swear. 

Anyway, I'm showing off the rare bacon stun halo from Plethora in this picture. If an avatar walks into you it will go off.. and you know how clumsy grownups can be, so it'll probably go off a lot showing the world how much you love bacon, lollipops, jellybeans (or whatever one you get from the gatcha) There are 13 for you to play for and 3 rares to be found and at 50 lindens a go, you'd be hard pressed not to try at least once.

In my mouth is this cute "Mochi Dango - Bunny" also from Plethora, found at the Candy Fair. There are three different ones to grab and they are 80 lindens each. You can touch them to change them to another texture too, bonus! What's awesome about these is they also come with a Pink Fuel "Dango" skin and you know what good quality Pink Fuel skins are. This particular one comes with light blonde brows. The classic dango comes with black brows and the dantean dango comes with brown brows. I'll have to show off the skins in another post, will be interesting to see how well they work with ToddleeDoo avatars.

Well, that wraps up this post nicely.. I bet you're glad to see me post something other than Halloween stuff.. next month should be less on theme.

♥ Elephantitis ♥

Elehantitis is an illness which is characterised by having an overwhelming desire to cover yourself in elephants... such as I did for this picture. If you are afflicted with it you will know.. because you probably collect elephants, wear elephants on your clothes and generally gravitate towards them at the zoo. It's only known cure right now is to look at and wear pandas, which seems to ward away the elephants until the next wave of elephantitis hits. It's a very serious problem.

My super cute shirt is from Tiny Trinkets. I love the frilly collar and the adorable pink elephant on the front. I teamed the shirt with these very pretty jeans from Heffalumps. Love the lace around the bottoms, you can get these in lots of different colours too.

♥ Meow ♥

In lieu of a long post, like the two from yesterday, I'm opting for a short and sweet one today. 

Dressing up is always so much fun.. more so if you're 2 years old. I absolutely loved dressing up as kitty for this post. This adorable kitty outfit is from Viv.a! Kids. It comes with the ears and even a tail too! I think it's just purrfect. 

The kitty I'm holding is from Little Closet, found at Woodland Treasures Gatcha. He just reminded me so much of my real life ginger kitty that I had to have him.  

At Brownies last night I found out that I'm part of a fundraising team, with my big sis Meggie and our friend Ella. We will be raising money to help cancer sufferers, a very worthy cause I'm sure you'll agree.. we're just working on putting together the details of the event, fine tuning it and deciding when it will be exactly. More details to come in the near future, watch this space. 

I also got my artist badge journal to complete.. so I'll be working on that a bit too. It's been a while in Brownies since I got a badge, so I really need to pull my finger out. Interested in joining Brownies or any of the other clubs that "The Courtyard" has to offer? Message Libby Farleigh in world.. she's really nice!

"Love" is what my awesome hoodie from Minuet says.. and is also how I feel about this outfit I put together. I absolutely adore these floral jeans from Turducken.. I saw them and I knew instantly that I had to have them.. then it just became a matter of styling around them. How'd I do?

How awesome is this new hair from Truth too? It's super cute and fits ToddleeDoo so well. I love that the bow has a colour change hud and you can even take it off if you don't want it on.

♥ Confronting Fears ♥

I have three adorable pictures to share in this blog post.. and it's all centered around confronting fears. The idea came to me when I saw this pose set from Little Moments.. 

Now, it might seem ridiculous to most people but I have a phobia of butterflies in real life. I don't like them at all and I can't explain where the irrational fear came from, I know how silly it sounds too. I have many fears and phobias and figured I need to start trying to confront them a little, even if it's just in Second Life, so I did.. by posing with butterflies. I think they turned out super cute and it made me appreciate the beauty of a butterfly, if only for a moment.

Yes, I'm wearing this hair from Olive again.. because I adore it. I'm also wearing this super cute romper I snatched up from Little Closet.. even if I did have to get up ridiculously early to be certain I got it before it sold out. I really love this romper but it does have a downside.. there's some stretching around the crotch area when I move around and it really distorts the texture and looks odd.. a little disappointing, but it won't stop me from wearing it because it's so pretty. My awesome sandals are from Noodles, found at this round of Collabor88.. I love that I can change the colour of the little stones on them to match my look. Oh and of course this sheep bag from Zenith made another appearance today.. it's so awesome.

♥ I'm a mess you up punk! ♥

So, there's an awesome hunt brought to you by Soken Kids/Didake Sim Hunts called "Summer Dream Hunt" and I have two awesome gifts you can find from it to show you. You can start the hunt at Soken Kids main store.

First of all, the shirt I have on is a gift from Ragamuffins. It's an awesome tie dye shirt and I love it! There is one for baby and kid Toddleedoos (boy and girl) and regular kid avatars (boy and girl) I'm wearing the baby girl ToddleeDoo one.. it's very bright and summery. Such a great hunt gift.

The second hunt gift I have to show you is from Posh Baby. It's a little winged head creature, both in pink and blue, although there's also a version you can rez out too. When you click it.. it makes a cute sound. I won't give away what sound it makes though! You'll have to go grab it to find out.

Woodland Gatcha is also back on and I have a few things to show you from there too. First of all these cute pink shorts from Petite Bebe. Simple, but cute and very summery.. plus they were super cheap. Can't argue with that! 

Next from this round of Woodland Gatcha is these cute boho sandals from Little Closet. Lots of different colours for you to snap up, but in this picture I am wearing the bubblegum ones.

Lastly, this EPIC supersoaker from des lunes, found at this round of Woodland Gatcha. I am in love with it. I somehow ended up with the RARE one which is totally the one I wanted too. I love the pose it puts you in when you hold it (see picture for the awesome pose) and when you go into mouselook it does actually shoot out water. So epic and I'm going to have so much fun with it.

I'm also wearing a new skin from Freshface! Yay! I love it.. I also finally got some baby teeth.. fom PXL. lol. Now I'm just wishing for my two front teeth for Christmas.

♥ Teddy Bears Rock ♥

I wanted this outfit from Little Closet and Snips & Snails (at Limited 50) sooooo bad that I set an alarm to get me out of bed for it. When Limited 50 opened it was 8am for me (which is way early in my opinion, no human being should be up before midday.. just saying), so I logged on half asleep.. without a cup of tea even and desperately tried to get into the event. I was greeted by region full, which made my heart sink.. had I missed my opportunity?! Then thankfully after mashing tp a bunch of times I finally got in. The outfit sold out in a record 8 minutes after it opened, thankfully I was lucky enough to snag a copy. Lag meant I had to get the owner of Snips & Snails to resend me the pants though.. thankfully he was nice about it and sent them over promptly.

Cute, huh? Well worth getting up for.. and then falling back to sleep immediately after.

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Hope everyone has a lovely day.

What are your views on fitted mesh? I saw the blog post about it having hit the grid and I preferred the non fitted mesh better than the fitted. To me, the fitted mesh is basically like system clothing.. but mesh. I am not sold on it yet.. might have to see it in world more.

Anyways.. this outfit has been made Valentine-esque by the giant berry my forever Auntie Ashlynn  got me for Valentines Day. This berry makes a kissy sound when clicked and it so reminds me of the strawberry from "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2"

♥ Pandicorn ♥

Saw this adorable little panda hybrid plushie yesterday for sale for Lazy Sunday at tea.s. I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it! Two awesome things combined.. a panda and a unicorn, genius! It's called the "Pandicorn" - so awesome. It was only 50 lindens too.. and came with a version for your head and a version for grownups. My mummy even got one for herself, she's been walking around with the panda on her head all day. 

Weirdly I put this outfit on and ended up spending most of the day at a desert sim.. I'm sure I must have looked a right fruit loop.. all dressed up for the cold weather surrounded by sand, palm trees and sunshine. I had to go find a winter sim to take this pic so I didn't look like too much of a freak!

Hey everyone!

Guess what.....? 

ZoZo's is back! Yay! Back with a brand spanking new release only on marketplace called "PaPaony" It's super cute.. I love it! Great colour choices and very snuggly/warm looking and also very this time of the year.

I then accessorized with a hat from AV, found at the Heritage Gatcha event. The selection of hats in the gatcha is awesome, they're all so adorbs and as far as I can tell are all My Little Pony related.. you can't just have one. 

Sticking with the pony theme, I picked a few unicorn jewelry pieces (close enough!) Then to give it the awww-factor, completed the look with a huggable pillow from Little Closet.
