♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 1 ♥

Lots of pictures to be seen in this post because an awesome new event started today called "Hello Beautiful" and I'm not just saying that it's awesome because my store Awwdorable is also taking part. I just love the whole concept of something different than the standard clothes and furniture events we see.. and I can't wait to see how this event grows as time goes on. There's a lot of top designers that are taking part and I feel truly honoured to be a part of it both as a blogger and a designer.

Up first I have an amazing animated mesh head from Cute Bytes to show you, called "Betull". It's only 199 lindens too, which is a bargain price! I'm wearing it with the skin called "Betull skin" which is also available at Hello Beautiful and is an epic price of 150 lindens.. it comes with a regular skin and skin applier too. I'm showing a close up of the head in the second pic, so you can see the adorableness of the face.. it's so cute! I think it's by far my fave head that Cute Bytes has brought out now. The skin just makes it that much more adorable. I love how it's animated, that's a huge new thing.. you can make the eyes blink randomly.. or you can look up, wink etc.. and there's a whole ton of mouth animations. I've provided some gifs after the pics for you to try to show a little of what this head is capable of doing. I love it.

I teamed it with an outfit from Heffalumps called "Shiloh" which is just lovely.. with "Baby" across the chest and flowers adorning the skirt.. it's a very pretty outfit for baby ToddleeDoo's.

Next up we have a pretty skin and shape I'm wearing called "Little Alexandrea" from Bad Seed Boutique, also at Hello Beautiful. It's limited to only 25 people! So if you like it come snap it up quickly before it sells out. It comes with many tattoo layers: tears, sparkle blush, pink cheeks, freckles and different brow colour options. I'm wearing he blonde brows and pink cheek tattoo layer in the picture. The shape is copiable and modifiable too, which is super handy. There's also a boy version to be found too called "Little Alexander" - not pictured.. but if you boys were thinking you had been forgotten.. you haven't!

I'm also wearing super cool eyes from a gatcha at Hello Beautiful by Bad Seed Boutique too. They are called "Kawaii eyes" and the colour I have on in this picture is the blue ones, but there are lots of different colours to get! I love the little heart detail in the eye, subtle and incredibly cute.

Also featured in this picture are "Zipped Nails" from my very own store Awwdorable, you can find them at Hello Beautiful.. along with another set called "Meow Nails" which feature an adorable ginger kitty on pastel colours. Only 100 lindens for each set, which both have 8 different variations.

Next we have another limited skin and shape (but this one includes eyes too) from Little Nerds, found at (you guessed it) Hello Beautiful. It's super cute and limited to 45 people, so again, if you like it.. go grab it quick before it sells out! This one is a pale tone with a very lovely shape.

I'm also wearing an adorable little outfit from Little Nerds in this picture too, called "Jumper w/Heart pocket" which fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars.

Up next I'm sporting a mesh mole and buck teeth from Winter Ravens, which can also be found at Hello Beautiful (are you noticing a theme here?!). 
The mole is super realistic looking and if you want more detail on your skin, this would definitely be something you could include. The buck teeth are pretty adorable too! 

I'm wearing a lovely outfit called "Maylee Autumn Outfit" from Lil Big Me in this picture also, which fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's.. and even includes the adorable hat.

Showing off some cute mesh ears from Cute Bytes now which are 300 lindens, found at Hello Beautiful. I've never been a fan of mesh ears prior to this.. but these are pretty awesome.. I love the earrings. They have their own HUD which is super easy to operate and they also work with skin huds and even include a set without the earrings too. 

In this picture I'm also rocking some awesome tattoo layers from Tic Tot Toe, found at Hello Beautiful. There are two gatchas.. one with cute nose star tattoos in a variety of colours and another with lots of different face paints. I've opted for pink for both in this picture..

I'm also going pink overboard with wearing pink kawaii eyes from Bad Seed Boutique's gatcha at Hello Beautiful. They rock!

Phew.. this is one long post.. anyways, up next we have a skin and shape from Purretes, found at Hello Beautiful..  called, "Sophia Skin.Shape" - it comes with two skins one with an underwear layer and one without, a skin HUD for ToddleeDoo avatars and a skin HUD for SMB avatars. It comes with a shape for regular kids and SMB avatars, a baby shape and a kid shape for ToddleeDoo avatars too. There's also a hair base, along with some alphas for your mouth and eyelashes included. Shape is copy only. There's also a boy version available, called "Samuel" 

Lastly I'm including ads of my nails that are at Hello Beautiful.. because I think they're cute.

♥ Sisterly Times ♥

In these two pictures I'm wearing adorable new outfits from Enchanted Bowtique. First one is a sweater and tutu combination, the sweater has a little tiara on the front with "Pumpkin Patch Princess" underneath. It comes with tights and shoes, it also fits both baby and kid avatars. Naturally I had to put on a tiara for this picture... and have my sister hold the umbrella over me while I read so I don't get burnt (because I'm that kind of spoilt princess)

In the second picture I'm wearing another sweater and tutu combination from Enchanted Bowtique.. but this one has on the front, "Cutest Pumpkin in the patch" so it seemed only natural to pose in front of some pumpkins so I truly was the best one there. Again, this comes with sweater, tutu, tights HUD and shoes.. and fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars. Both outfits are really cute and great for this time of year.

I'm also wearing an adorable skin from Little Nerds called "Little Rose" I've blogged it before, but I love it so much that it needs another view. I love it's little rosy cheeks and the lips are so cute and works awesomely well with my shape.

You might be wondering why I'm posing with my older sister.. well.. it's not often I get the chance to take a picture with my sister, usually her real life work gets in the way and by time she comes on we all kinda just wanna chill out.. so today I got the opportunity and grabbed it with both hands and decided she'd be featured in my post.. so, thanks sis for posing with me.

♥ Pumpkin Baby ♥

Check out this cute sweater from Tiny Trinkets, which fits both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. it's got cute ruffles on the collar area and a happy pumpkin design on the front. I teamed the sweater with some mint wide leg pants from Baby Pie and awesome boots from Snips & Snails.

I'm also holding this epic pumpkin bag from Tiny Trinkets. This one featured is the girls version, but don't worry boys you have not been forgotten.. there is also a boy version without the cute bow on it! What I love about this pumpkin bag is that if you click it you receive a load of goodies.. one of which is this pumpkin pez I'm holding. Little pez particle pieces randomly emit from it! It made me all nostalgic for when I would buy pez as a kid in real life.. I've not seen them in ages! Also in the contents you can find: choco, coffee, lemon, pistachio, raspberry and vanilla macarons (which are holdable and animated)

I love this "Batmoon RARE" that's in the background, from Winter Ravens.. which I found at this round of Woodland Treasures Gatcha. I knew as soon as I saw it that I had to have it.. and low and behold on my first try I got it! My mummy liked it so much she wanted it on the outside of our house on the upstairs window.. and yes, I might be posing on the roof for this picture.. luckily nobody is around to yell at me and tell me how dangerous it is.

Introducing a pretty new skin and shape from FreshFace called "Anne" - in the left picture I'm wearing the shape and skin together, wearing tone "snow" bare.. and on the right picture I'm using my custom shape with the Anne skin, again in "snow" and my usual cheek sparkles, teeth and eyelashes. I thought I'd do a side by side comparison so you could see how the shape included with it looks with the skin and how the skin looks when used on my usual shape.

It's a ToddleeDoo skin, although having said that it didn't come with an applier for the body.. but I found that the second row, second column down on your ToddleeDoo skin HUD works best for the snow tone at least. 

The sticky out ears on the shape are pretty cute.. and as usual the skin does look incredibly "fresh faced" hence the name of the store FreshFace I guess! I think the skin looks better on the included shape than with my own.. but I'm rather partial to the "Ivy" skin from FreshFace right now, which has become my default no doubt until I like something on my shape better.

Last day of Woodland Treasures Gatcha, so grab your goodies now.. including these awesome gamer typers from Tic Tot Toe. I'm holding up the black version, but there's tons of different ones to collect.

I haven't blogged Baby Pie for a while and although this is an older outfit and I've blogged the purple one of this before, I felt in the mood for something black.. so I broke this one out of my inventory. There's not a huge amount of dark coloured clothing for kids around.. and it's hard to do it well without it looking too grownup I think.. but Baby Pie does an awesome job of keeping it child friendly and dark. Love it.

My title is called "Paint a smile on" today.. because I painted the gym room in real life yesterday.. and the fact that I sometimes feel you have to pretend you're okay, when you're really not. I spend most of my life pretending that everything is fine. How many times do people ask how you are..? If everyone really told the other person, nobody would ever ask that question again. I find myself going, "Good thank you!" even if I'm sitting at my laptop in floods of tears.. nobody really wants to hear how everything sucks. The very few people that do genuinely want to know if everything is okay are the ones you want to stay strong for too.. I feel like a broken record when things aren't okay and I end up saying they're fine in the end so I don't bore my nearest and dearest to death going over the same old problems that aren't getting any better.

In other news I'm getting excited about The Arcade.. although my bank balance will not be!

♥ Boat Days ♥

Newest outfit from Baby Pie and it's super cute. I love the flowy looking top. There were three different colours to pick from, but I like this one the best.

Shock horror I took my mesh head off.. it's gonna reappear in my next post though. I was forced to take it off for a family picture and I was wearing this outfit in it, so figured I'd keep it off just for this post. My mummy really hates the mesh head.. and I think you either love it or you hate it.. it's a lot like marmite. FYI I love marmite too. I'm actually only putting it back on in the next post too to spite the people who hate it.. someone on my facebook feed was whining about people wearing them so I was like, "Right.. I'm a continue to wear it then!" Bad Seed Boutique has come out with some nice skins for them actually..

♥ Fairy Tale ♥

I love dressing up.. and I love how I made this very pretty outfit from Baby Pie look like a fairy outfit, thanks to these awesome sparkly wings from Olive. Of course my fairy companions from Ohmai helped out too.

I'm wearing these cute nails from ZOZ Kids too, which you can see in a close up in the second picture. They are mesh overlays that go over the original ToddleeDoo nail. They are slightly longer than the regular nails too I think.. they look it to me anyway. No awkward fitting or anything though, just make sure your hand shape is at 0 and you're good to go. All you do after wearing them is use the HUD provided and presto you got cute nails. The ones featured in this post are the Spring French Polish Nails and have a few different colour choices.. I just happen to be showing you the one that matched my outfit the best.

How cute is this little outfit from Baby Pie? It comes with a sparkly unicorn horn too. Love it!

So, I've not blogged Baby Pie in a while.. and I really love her stuff, I always grab it.. so I've been building up a stack of Baby Pie outfits in my inventory that I've not worn yet and decided to show this one the light of day. This is the grape version, it comes in 2 other colours too (which I also got.. I have a Baby Pie addiction, okay?! Don't judge me!)

Also, how adorable is my sheep bag from Zenith? I loved that I was able to resize it to fit me.. it's so cute! I wanted them all from the gatcha.. but.. alas I didn't have the pennies to try again. Everyone get their violins out.. rofl

Exciting news too, Plethora accepted me as a blogger. I absolutely love Plethora stuff, it's so fun and quirky! The UFO I blogged recently is from Plethora and is absolutely amazing.. you can control it and everything, so awesome. 

Movie club at The Courtyard started last night.. very bummed nobody showed up. It's so frustrating that so many kids complain there is nothing to do and yet when people make the effort nobody turns up. I enjoyed myself anyway... we watched Frozen. But if you're ever bored and looking for things to take part in and meet new people then give The Courtyard a chance.. the lady that runs it (Libby Farleigh) is really nice and my mummy helps out there too. It's 250 lindens a month for unlimited use of all the clubs.. which is pretty good going I think. Brownies always gets a good turn out (on Monday we had a field trip to the zoo!).. but Movie Club and Cheerleading Club are both new additions to The Courtyard and definitely need all the members it can get. Volunteers and club ideas are also welcomed, so get in touch with Libby Farleigh if you have any ideas.

Sorry for the prattling on trying to get you to want to join The Courtyard.. but I really want to see it be a success. I'd hate to see it close due to lack of interest.. so I figure if I keep harping on about it then maybe you'll at least go take a peek at what happens over there.

♥ Brownies @ The Courtyard ♥

The Courtyard not only offers Brownies (which to Americans is like a girl scouts for 3-16 year olds - I'm only 2 but I got in, thanks mummy!) but it offers other things too, such as: Homework club (DAILY @ 11am & 6pm slt) , Book Club (TUESDAYS @ 10.30am slt & SATURDAYS @ 4pm slt) and Board Game Club (TUESDAYS @ 12.30pm slt & SATURDAYS @ 5.30pm slt).. with more clubs planned. Brownies currently runs MONDAYS @ 1pm slt & FRIDAYS @ 6pm slt!

♥ Gatsby ♥

So my extended family had a "Gatsby" themed party and invited the whole family to come.. 1920's outfits galore. I decided to post what I wore in case anyone else wanted to replicate this 1920's look. Also.. bonus gif of me dancing.. because it was too cute not to share.

♥ Lollipop.. lollipop.. ohhh lollipop.. lollipop ♥

Firstly.. I just want to get some family stuff out of the way.. so if you come for the fashion and not my deep and meaningful rants (ha, I dunno about deep and meaningful.. but they're often ranty) then you might want to skip to the last two paragraphs. 

Who knew that Second Life could sometimes mirror real life in an eerie way.. for example, my parents in Second Life.. are no longer together. My dad was stupid and hurt my SL mum in the worst way possible.. but I got thinking about this and I then thought  how weird it was that the same thing happened to me in real life when I was a kid. My parents split up.. for oddly similar reasons. I can still remember how awful it was to find out what was going on, the feelings I felt at the time and how it tore everything apart. I feel a bit like it's happening all over again.. but in Second Life.. and there's nothing I can do about it. I hate when things are out of my control.. and I often look for outlets to get things back into my control and they're not always healthy. 

It just made me think about family dynamics really and how powerful they can be.. and when the balance is disrupted how much of a negative impact that can have on the child in the situation. It's hard when you're being pulled in two different directions. It's not my mothers fault at all.. it was totally down to my father in this case. I do, however, find myself pulled and it's hard. I want it so badly to be like how it was, but that will never happen ever again.. and thinking a bit back to real life.. in a way it kind of makes sense the way I behaved then to the news about my parents and in general, which I didn't really think about at the time. 

In essence, looking back, it's not hard to see why I've ended up such a mess in real life. It's a good thing that a lot of the things I went through and the things I did.. aren't easily mimicked in Second Life. I wouldn't want to go that particular route with my Second Life anyway. It's supposed to be an escape from all things real (at least for me) and this is probably the only thing that's happened in Second Life that's really made me feel as confused as real life has. I've often wanted to turn the clock back on my real life.. I've never really had the urge to do that as far as Second Life's been concerned.. until recently. It turns out.. most men in my life have let me down in one way or another, both real and virtually.. maybe it's trying to tell me something.

Anyways.. on to nicer things.. such as this awesome outfit from Baby Pie. I'm a huge Baby Pie fan and the fact that she has her own custom meshes that you can't find anywhere else is a huge perk.. I'm pretty sure I own nearly everything in her store. This outfit is just adorable, she recently released other colours too.. which I promptly snapped up also (no doubt I'll show that off another time) The ice cream from tentacio I just had to have as soon as I saw someone with it when I was shopping at Kustom9. It's so cute!! I'm not sure if you can tell but I even have some ice cream around my face (that didn't come with the ice cream.. but.. I think it was a nice touch) Yes, I'm aware I wear this hairstyle a lot.. but it's one of my top favorite styles.

All The Little Things starts up soon. Don't forget Awwdorable is participating this round and will have two gatchas up for you to hit up. The Arcade is also imminent (beginning of June).. all the previews on flickr have been very exciting. I can't wait to go. I usually go with my mummy but real life she's going away.. sad face.. so I'm going to have to go alone no doubt.

♥ Light as a bubble ♥

Ever want to be able to just disappear? Or be as light as a bubble and soar high above everyone else? To be that light and perfect? I don't think I can ever shake those feelings.. they just grow with time, no matter what I do. I can feel totally lonely too in a room full of people because nobody knows what it's like to be me.. nobody understands me.. the people I feel closest to are the people as messed up as I am and those people only exist online, lurking in places we both know we shouldn't really be. I am my own worst enemy and the internet just fuels the fire.. just back off reality and let me be that bubble. I know you love me but sometimes I want you to just stop caring.. let me do this. Let me be. Let me be that bubble.

What prompted such an obscure post? Well.. I just spent this morning crying my eyes out because I watched a movie that really pulled on my heart strings and made me question everything that goes on in my head.. and in turn it has left me a broken mess today. A huge part of me wants to be that bubble and float away.. to be that light.. that carefree. Then reality hits and that bubble is popped. It's funny what things can jolt you back to reality, even if for a moment. For me, it took a movie.. but it will be short lived and everything will go back to how it was as soon as I have to face myself once more.. which will no doubt be as soon as I get up.

So.. I present a toast.. to bubbles.. and shall nobody ever pop yours.

♥ Mummy & Me - A moment ♥

It's rare I get to do a post with my mummy and I am thankful that she posed with me for this picture. Thank you mummy! These matching outfits were from Baby Pie, they are just epic. 

Really proud of this picture, it took me a long time to do all the shadows and highlights.. and I retouched some areas to make them look more rounder etc. I hope you like it as much as I do.

The pose I found at Style Me.. from Strawberry Dimple (I'd never heard of before) It's so sweet though and works really well with our matching outfits.

I bit the bullet and applied to blog for a couple of stores.. I know I said I'd blog for just me and I will, but I'll also blog for others if they are willing to have me.. haha. Been to Woodland Gatcha yet? Lots of cute stuff there. I think I pretty much grabbed most of what I liked.

I went to Style Me today and bought loads of things too. I keep spending money, so not good! I'm going to be broke soon..
