♥ Bonjour Skunk ♥

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend! 

My finger feels a little better today.. I discovered I had magnesium sulphate paste in my medicine cabinet (which I'd totally forgotten about) and so that's helping loads to draw out the infection.. hopefully it'll get rid of it and I'll be back to my usual self in no time.

I've not done much this weekend.. I've procrastinated a lot while playing The Sims 4. I had fun launching my sim into space over and over repeatedly. I was absolutely devastated when he crash landed and I had to spend money to rebuild his rocket. Lol. I need a life.

Anyways, onto this cute outfit I'm wearing.. I'm wearing a top from Fablehood, which is available at this round of Woodlands. There are several plain versions and a few different rares to collect, for both baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars. I'm wearing the "Bonjour Floral RARE" This one is my favorite out of them all.. and it makes me laugh a lot because my mummy always goes, "Bonjour!" She told me to include that in my post. 

I have on adorable "Versailles Boots" from Bad Seed Boutique, which are also available at this round of Woodlands. They fit baby and kid ToddleeDoo's! I'm wearing the cute pink shade, but they also come in: white, mint, lemon, blue and hot pink. A perfect little boot that will go with a lot of outfits. I've accessorised them with bow socks from Bad Seed Boutique too - which just go together I think.

In the last picture I have on hilarious cross eyes from Tic Tot Toe.. these funny eyes are available at this round of Hello Beautiful. Lots of different colours to choose from, but I've opted to show off the blue ones today. These are great for those funny photos!

Also in the last picture I'm wearing "Cupcakes On My Head - Colors RARE" from tiptoes, which are just perched on top of my head. These are available at this round of Woodlands.. be sure to snap them up! Everyone needs a cupcake from time to time!

I am loving this new hair from *BABY* This one is called "Sarah" and is rigged for ToddleeDoo's. I'm excited to see what other styles get released!

Look at these adorable skunks from MishMish which can be picked up at this round of Collabor88. The one on top of my head nibbling on my cupcakes is animated.. and the one on my arm is static. They come with decorative ones sniffing flowers too.. which is pretty cute. I'm loving the backpack, the HUD changes the colour of it! It was easy to resize too, just stretch it. There wasn't anything else there that I liked either apart from these.. a little disappointing this round for kids.. luckily the skunks more than made up for it.

Quick note on my skin.. although isn't available anymore.. if you're looking for a similar look Pink Fuel has one called "Doll V2" that's pretty close to this skin.

♥ Elastic Heart ♥

♫ "I've got thick skin and an elastic heart.." ♫

That is my new favourite song at the moment, "Elastic Heart" by Sia. I can't get it out of my head! I've posted a link to the video at the end of this post too.. now the video is beautiful, but it's disturbing too. There's been a lot of debate over this video and the age gap between the awesome Maddie Ziegler and Shia LaBeouf. You can make up your own mind of what you think to it.. Is it artistic? Beautiful? Disturbing? Whatever you think of the video the song is fantastic and becomes quite the ear worm if you listen to it a few times.

I'm baking bread in my new bread maker (in real life obviously) as I type this. I can't wait to see how it comes out! I'm pretty excited. I'm doing a wholemeal loaf right now, but I plan to do a gluten free loaf soon for my fiancee who is gluten intolerant.

In other news I also purchased a Fitbit Flex in real life. If you're looking to improve your health, this is a good bit of kit to own. It tracks your steps, exercise, food and even your sleep. It's like an advanced pedometer in bracelet form. It's surprising how many steps a day you take.. or you don't take (in my case) Although I did over five thousand yesterday and got a special reward badge! Apparently you're meant to do ten thousand steps every day, so I have a little bit to go for that.

Anyways, enough about boring ol' real life.. onto the cuteness that is my adorable little avatar in Second Life. 
I'm absolutely loving this "Freckle face" applier for mesh heads from Bad Seed Boutique. It's super cute! I'm showing it off on the "AMAZED" head from Cute Bytes, but any of the mesh heads are compatible with it. It has a lot of options too: basic (which I'm wearing), lashes, tears, heavy freckles, dirty, bandaid and blush. I've included a picture of the HUD to show you how many options there are.. it's pretty awesome. You can get this applier in either pale (shown below) or tan. Bad Seed Boutique keep outdoing themselves on skins.. every one just gets more and more awesome.. and I love them!  

My outfit is from Little Nerds.. what's not to love about this outfit and more importantly who doesn't love Narwhals? I'm a keen "redditor" in real life, so Narwhals definitely rock!

I swung by Chapter Four and picked up a couple of these adorable kitties from Birdy.

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 4 ♥

"Hello Beautiful" has opened it's doors again for another awesome round. It's February and love is in the air.. and there's lots of cute stuff to be had. This is a really long post - with lots of pictures featuring lots of designers.. you can click the pictures for a larger view. Skip the next paragraph if you just want the low down on what's out now. Full credits at the very end.

Before I do I'd like to apologise for my last post being rather emo. I've tried to take a step back from things and focus on myself more.. which is why I've not posted as much. I've been trying really hard to fix the things that are broken in my life, which is mostly me, but truth be told it's really hard.. I've made changes and maybe too much to soon or something because I'm struggling. The last few days have taken a sharp downwards turn and I've gone into a spiral of destruction.. after a monumental screw up this morning.. I've decided I need to get back on track. Fingers crossed I do.

Anyways, onto the first designer featured at Hello Beautiful this month. In these first four pictures I am wearing beautiful skin, shape and eye sets from Bad Seed Boutique. The first two pictures are featuring "Rosie" which is super cute and comes with themed tattoo layers, one of which I'm showcasing here (the hearts) It has all the usual little awesome extras you can expect from Bad Seed Boutique, including the freckles option (which I have on) Definitely an adorable set. 

I have on a cute heart bracelet from Tikkels and Valentines Nails from Itsy Bitsy, which can both be found at this round of Hello Beautiful.

I'm wearing an epic outfit from Little Pixels called "Zoi" - I love this look, it's wild and funky. I don't usually wear animal print, but I could definitely get used to it if they were all as awesome as this. I've teamed it with some adorable shoes from Minuet. 

The next two pictures after that are featuring "Remi" skin, shape and eyes from Bad Seed Boutique.. which you can find at Hello Beautiful. I don't often get to showcase boys stuff, so I had fun doing this. Even better was the outfit and hair was totally free.. it's always great when you find fab freebies.

Another amazing mesh head and skin has been brought out from Cute Bytes. I'm loving these so much! It's called "KIKIKI" and is another amazing animated head. If you're worried about looking the same and shying away from mesh heads because of that.. don't.. a skin can make a mesh head look so much different. You can really make your own style with it! I saw this outfit on marketplace and had to have it. It's from tinyOWL - which surprised me.. I usually shop tinyOWL for epic gowns, not casual wear. I now will be keeping an eye on tinyOWL in future because the newest offerings in casual wear are just amazing. This one is called "Love Outfit"

 How cute are these tongue and face stickers from Little Nerds..? Ooh and the cheek blush and little cheek hearts! Both of which can be found at Hello Beautiful this month. Oh, are you sensing a theme yet? lol

I'm wearing a cute hairstick from ToddleTeeZ that can be found at Hello Beautiful too.

I'm loving this look I put together. So adorable. The hair is from Dura.. and is really cute and baby-ish. I really do not like the blonde shades from Dura, they just look dirty and dark.. so I opted for my second fave hair colour.. pink. I only have three styles in pink, but I'm leaning towards it more and more when a style doesn't have a decent shade of blonde anyways!

I feel like I've featured tinyOWL a lot in this post, but this outfit was too perfect. It's adorable.. and fits so well with the theme of this month.

As for this outfit from Sugar & Spice.. well.. it's cute, but there were some conflicting issues with it which bugged me a lot. It didn't really feel complete either, so I swapped the bottom half for some pastel bloomers from Bad Seed Boutique instead. They are super cute! I love the sandals I'm wearing from Just Kidding too.

♥ Descending into Madness ♥

Short and sweet post today. 

I know people say you shouldn't blog when you feel bad.. or ill or whatever.. but I'm not one of those people who pretend everything is great all the time. I'm feeling pretty low.. just about everything. Not helped by the fact that my last post had only one entrant on the competition (thanks Kenna).. it only has a few days left.. but I guess that goes to show that either my blog isn't as popular as it used to be, or my creations are crap. Or perhaps both! 

Since nobody is bound to read this anyway.. I'm going to just say whatever I want. I started some pills today.. non prescription and I got in trouble for buying them, but whatever. They are legal, just not really recommended.. especially for someone like me. But.. I figure this..you please yourself in this life.. bottom line is I'm not happy and I'm going to do whatever it takes to be happy.. even if it's not advised. I got them yesterday and I really mulled it over whether I should take them.. and I've decided I should. Do I really care if anything bad happens to me? I don't know any more. 

I'm not even going to bother writing what I'm wearing, it's in the credits anyway if anyone cares.

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 3 ♥

Lots of pictures in this post (but as always full credits at the end), so just keep scrolling.. just keep scrolling ♫

Right, so some of you may have noticed a big change on my blog.. I took sponsors off entirely. I decided that real life needs to come first and Second Life needs to take more of a back seat for now.. and I know I can't do that if I have obligations in world. That's not to say I won't blog from time to time, but it won't be as regular. The only event I will continue to blog is "Hello Beautiful" - which is the whole basis of this post. Anyways, when I first started blogging there wasn't many ToddleeDoo blogs around.. but now there is so it's not like there will be nobody blogging. Lots of new ones have started up recently too. So, yeah, I need to focus on myself in real life more.. focus on getting healthy both mentally and physically and I know in my heart I can't do that if I'm on Second Life all hours of the day.

Anyways, now that's out of the way I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas/holiday period. It's now gone midnight here in the UK, so Happy New Year to everyone too! It's currently almost 3am while I type this..probably be almost 5am by time this goes out!

Right, so Hello Beautiful is on it's third round.. and the theme for this round is "Rugged" so.. with that said lets move on to showing you what is on offer at this awesome event.

First up we have this adorable pixie/fairy look, which you can find at Hello Beautiful, from Bad Seed Boutique, called "Alea" - and while it's not rugged it certainly is cute! It comes with a shape, skin, eyes, pointy ears and various tattoo layers.. I'm wearing the swirly tattoo layer, which makes this pretty effect you see around the eyes. Loving this look so much.

I'm wearing a beautiful dress from Lil Big Me too, called "Fairy Garden Dress" and I accessorized with some "Pixie Wings" from Cute Bytes for the real fae feel.

Up next is a more rugged look from Bad Seed Boutique (found at Hello Beautiful).. this rugged skin works with mesh heads and has many different options.. I couldn't decide which I liked so I went with the "Multiple" option - which is basically all things together. It has two skin options - pale or tanned.. I'm wearing the pale option. I look like I've been playing outside for a while and got a little dirty.. I love it.

The adorable panda onesie I'm wearing is from Little Nerds. It looks like a t-shirt and shorts combo, but it's all in one. It's super cute and since it features a panda it naturally gets the thumbs up of approval from me.

Up next I'm wearing funky new hair, currently at Hello Beautiful, from Cute Bytes which is called "RustyRasta" - there's a few different colour options to choose from but I'm wearing the palest blonde from the blondes pack. You can wear it with or without the hair beads too. This style is definitely unique as I've not seen anything quite like these before for ToddleeDoo avatars. I'm channeling my inner Bob Marley I think.. 

I'm wearing a "Punch You Onesie" from Winter Ravens that made me laugh. I'm not really as mean as it says.. although I do have my moments!

Next up we have a brand spanking new avatar from Cute Bytes, which is at this round of Hello Beautiful too. It's called "TweeneeDoo" and there's a girl and a boy version. I'm wearing the girl version (obviously) It's fitted mesh and works with most regular kids mesh clothing and small adult mesh clothing (although the chest area doesn't quite look right with boobed clothing, demos are your friend). 
The HUD appliers for ToddleeDoo work with TweeneeDoo though.. including the nails (although not all designs for nails work well) 
Currently SLink hands and feet don't fit this avatar well at all, but who knows what the future holds. 
The HUD for TweeneeDoo is exactly like the ToddleeDoo, so it's an easy transition for those used to ToddleeDoo and want to grow up. It's in the beta stage right now, so expect more updates and improvements.. but for those of you who want to be bigger then this is definitely an option for you. If you find any problems with it though, don't moan because it's in beta.. just send a helpful bug report.
In this picture I'm wearing the shape that comes with it and the mesh body. I'm wearing overalls (which were free) from Soken Kids. They work well with it. If you're looking for clothes for this particular avatar then I recommend Soken Kids, Second Star and Kick the can. I'm sure more places will start to cater for this avatar as it develops. 

Now we have some items from Twig, which you can find at Hello Beautiful. These items are in a gatcha and you can put together this look from the various pieces. It's appropriately named "Trouble Maker" and I definitely feel like I've been bad and probably got into a fight. Loving the bloody nose tattoo in particular.

Next up I'm wearing bandaids from ToddleTeeZ on my arms, legs and nose. There are various designs for you to collect and stick all over yourself.. which is always good fun. You can find these at Hello Beautiful. 

I'm wearing a shirt, shorts and sandals from Soken Kids too.

In the next two pictures I'm showcasing what Purretes has to offer for this round of Hello Beautiful. This is a shape and skin set called "Carrie" in skin tone sugar. There's another tone called cookie too if you'd rather that tone. It comes with this shape and skin.. and eyes (which I'm not wearing because I forgot!) There's also a boy version for you boys out there.

In the second picture I'm wearing a bandaid on my nose, also from Purretes.
