♥ Fun and Mirrors ♥

Hi everyone!

Hope all is well in your worlds. I'm currently in a blind panic in real life; trying to get everything ship shape for when my fiancee returns tomorrow (or rather today, since it's gone midnight here now) He wasn't supposed to be back for a couple more days, so I'm running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything just so. I'm currently on a break from cleaning and tidying, so I figured now would be the perfect time to do a post. 

First up there's these two adorable new items from Aphrodite. A play gym, called "The tree of life" it's much like the one I blogged previously - it's just a different style.. see the other post here: What a Hoot. 
The other item from Aphrodite is an adorable rocking owl. It has a few different animations built into it and it actually rocks! Very cute! I'm hoping Aphrodite release some kitty stuff soon, because owls are cute and everything.. but I'm much more into kitties! Or pandas.. or unicorns.. or mermaids.. or you know.. all of those would be good! I am loving the quality of their furniture though.

I'm wearing the mesh head from Cute Bytes, "BELLINA", that's available at this round of Hello Beautiful for a promo price of 250L$. I've teamed it with an applier from Bad Seed Boutique, "Berty" in the peach tone, which is also at Hello Beautiful right now. I think this head and skin combination looks pretty cute!

I have on adorable ears again from Tikkels, these too are at Hello Beautiful right now. These ones are chocolate dipped! Yum! They are HUD operated so you can match up your skin without much hassle and you can even change the colour of your earrings. Bonus! If the chocolate dipped ones aren't your thing, in my last post I showed off the sprinkle ones.. which are adorable too. I'm also wearing a face tattoo for mesh heads from Tikkels. It's really pretty and sparkly, grab yours at this round of Hello Beautiful.

I have on a very pretty headband from Buglets, "Janie Headband", which comes in lots of different colours. I'm wearing the blue (sky) coloured one to match my awesome outfit from Bad Seed Boutique.

The eyes I have on are called "Lovable Eyes" and I have on style C. They are from *BABY* and are available in lots of other colours at Hello Beautiful right now. I just happened to like this particular colour.. I gravitate towards lighter ones and blue tones. 
 
My nails are from Enchanted Bowtique are also at Hello Beautiful (you noticing a theme here yet?) and are called "Sakura nails" - they come in many different colours. Aren't they pretty?

Finally this mirror.. from snaphappy poses, available at.. you guessed it, Hello Beautiful. I blogged it before.. but today I'm showing off one of the commons which is the sky tone. It's perfect for making faces with your new mesh heads in. I had a little too much fun pulling faces in it.

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 5 - Part 5 ♥

In this post I shall be continuing showing off some more of the fabulous items available at this round of Hello Beautiful. 

Today I have gone for a casual fairy look.. my mummy described this look as a "hippy love child.." while my real life fiancee was like, "Oh cool, you're a hippy fairy!" So.. I guess that's what I am? Either way I like this look.. it's different.

I'm wearing a shape from Petite Bowtique, which you can find at Hello Beautiful. It's called "Luna" and there are three different sizes included.. which is perfect for growing up with. I am wearing the 2 year old shape. It's a pretty shape, even if it is a tiny bit taller than what I'm used to.

The face tattoo I'm wearing is from Purretes. There are many different ones to be acquired from a gatcha at Hello Beautiful. They all have a fantasy element to them.. so there's lots of different looks you can put together from them. I'm wearing "Fantasy Face 1" 

My long flowing locks are from Snowflake Designs, found at.. you guessed it.. Hello Beautiful. These are rigged mesh, specially for ToddleeDoo. They are in a gatcha too so you can get lots of different colours and swap and share with your friends.. or try your luck and get one of the rares. It has a flower on the side of the hair too, which is pretty cute.

♥ And they say that a hero can save us ♥

The title for today's post is inspired by Nickleback.. I know, I know.. but hear me out! It just seemed to work perfectly for these two outfits, both of which are from Enchanted Bowtique, as part of their Superminion series. Now we can add The Hulk and Ironman to the collection. 

I'm personally more of a fan of Ironman, hmm.. not sure what that says about me.. but I can identify a little with The Hulk too because although I'm pretty mellow and can tolerate a lot to a point, when I'm pushed over the edge, oh boy lets just say you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. I can honestly say I've only ever been pushed over a few times and the people that did it regretted it. I guess they thought I was a bit of a doormat prior to me blowing my top.. which is true, but again, I'm only a doormat to a point. I'll put up with a lot of crap before I blow. 

Anyways, back to these outfits from Enchanted Bowtique. You can have your pick of The Hulk or Ironman - both minion-ed up. They fit baby and kid ToddleeDoo and come with sweater, pants and shoes.. and are great outfits for playing out in the cold.

♥ All wrapped up ♥

Today I'm wearing an adorable outfit from Lil Big Me. It fits baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars and is really cute and perfect for this time of year. I love the scarf and headband in particular.. which is weird for me since I'm not usually a huge fan of headbands (mostly because I can never get them to fit my head right some of them) but this one just goes perfectly with my cute pigtails hairstyle from Chemistry. It's new to my inventory, but it's not a new style.. I'm a bit of a late comer to it. I love the hair but I hate how bad it is for poses.. every single pose I own my hair went into my body at least a little bit.. enough for me to not use any for this picture and just use my ao (which tilts forward a little so I don't have the hair in body issue)

Warning I feel a unrelated rant coming on.. anyways, earlier on there was a region restart on our land and in my panic I tped to the place I was last, which just happened to be Olive (the hair store) I was standing around there and three avatars tped in behind me and one of them asked me, "Didn't your parents teach you not to sit on train tracks?" cos there's train tracks where you land.. so I just say, "No.." cos well.. it's not really a conversation I've had with my mother. Then she quips back, "Didn't she teach you not to talk to strangers either?" Dear god, what does this woman want from me! I was just standing there minding my own business.. if I didn't reply I would have been seen as rude, but even replying was apparently the wrong thing to do. Then the other one declared, "Eww! Omg it has chicken legs!" (I'm just going to assume I might have looked stretched to her) Anyway, to conclude.. adults are rude idiots sometimes and I wish they'd leave me alone. Yes, I'm a child avatar.. fascinating stuff, isn't it? Get over it. You don't like kid avatars.. I don't like your huge arse and massive thigh gap which looks totally wrong with thighs that could crush watermelons teetering on stilettos.. but yet, I don't say anything to you. Why? Because that ugliness is your business.. same as being a child avatar is my business. I bet they'd never have even bothered speaking to me if they were on their own.. but three ladies together equals bitch fest and it's a lot easier to think you're being funny in a group.  So, grownups when you think you're being cute by talking to me and then belittling me in public with other grownups to back you up.. stop a sec and think, would you like it if it happened to you? I doubt it. Just because you are technically anonymous on Second Life does not give you the right to be horrible. I'm aware I was horrible here.. and two wrongs don't make a right and all that jazz.. but I was mad.

I didn't know pink and green went so well together until I put together this adorable froggy outfit from Soken Kids. Super cute short sleeved shirt which I teamed with cargo shorts.. both for ToddleeDoo's which you can find in baby and kid sizes.

I'm currently watching "Stand up to cancer" while I write this, which is a show raising money for cancer research, it's very emotional. I've been in tears a couple of times.. I've just seen a segment on a 19 year old that did a video blog type thing of her life with cancer.. and then after it finished there was text that she died 6 weeks after the video. I really hoped she was going to make it. So sad. It seems everyone knows someone that has battled with cancer these days. I know I have. If you or someone you know is fighting cancer, my heart goes out to you and I hope you or they win the battle.

Remember those awesome dresses that came from the new store MH that I blogged not so long back? Well, MH is at it again with some brand new cute dresses for you. I couldn't decide which one I liked the most.. so I blogged them all. Thought I'd try a different style of picture today because sometimes I feel a background can distract from an outfit.. and you don't get to see the full awesomeness because your eye is taken off looking at something else.

I love this outfit from Heffalumps. It's very patriotic and I feel proud to be British wearing it. The "GSTQ" outfit (I'm assuming short for "God save the Queen") comes with an undershirt HUD, jeans HUD, jean cuffs, over the top vest cardigan, bracelets, hair bows and of course the very epic matching boots. I adore the texture on the boots, it looks sort of dirty.. like proper shoes! No worn shoes stay immaculate forever! For baby sized ToddleeDoo's only.

Now I've done this post, I think I'll have a cup of tea.. oh so British of me.

The outfit also comes with matching hair bow, resizable belt and sandals. The jean romper is made for both baby and kid ToddleeDoo's. I love the textures, super cute. Perfect little play outfit.

Migraines suck. I just want to put that out there.. I suffered my first one today and I never want to have one again. It was awful! I felt sick, the pain was intense, when I closed my eyes I saw flashing lights.. and no amount of painkillers would shift it. It's still not quite right even now, but it's loads better than it was.. I wonder if it's because I spend an obscene amount of my time in front of my laptop.

I love dressing up in costumes and things.. it's such good fun! 

So when I saw that Viv.a! Kids had an Alice in Wonderland costume I already had a setup in mind for a picture and was really pleased with the outcome. Look how cute this little costume is! 

Viv.a! Kids have a few different costumes to pick from too, not just Alice. I wish more stores did costumes.. there's something fun about playing dress up I think.

♥ Just a couple of weirdos ♥

Friendship is awesome.. especially long lasting ones and ones where you relate to the other person in a way no other person could understand. I feel this when I talk to my friend Zoi, owner of Heffalumps (formally ZoZo's) - We have been through a lot together and we share some real life stuff too which makes our friendship extra special. I feel like I can tell her anything and I hope she feels the same way.

So, when I got these shirts from Tic Tot Toe to blog, I knew there was only one friend I could call on to make this picture as awesome as it is.. Zoi! She awesomely agreed to pose with me.. we're both equally as weird as each other and that's what makes us so awesome and perfect for these weirdo tees! I've laughed with her, I've cried with her, I've overshared so much and I've almost wet myself from laughing with her too.

We've been in families together, three to be exact.. and although they always fell through.. our friendship got stronger than ever. Nothing could break us.. even when people tried. Thanks for being a good friend to me, Zoi. Don't ever let anyone tell you you're not awesome.. ♥

♥ Zombified ♥

The Little Mermaid is my fav Disney film from my childhood. I was absolutely in love with it.. I wanted to be a mermaid and was so disappointed when I was told I couldn't actually be one. My first talent show my parents entered me into (I had pushy parents who were determined I'd have a singing career) was a song from The Little Mermaid "Part of your world" I was so nervous, it was my first time on stage and all the other kids were older than me. I had to get one of the older girls to zip my dress up because I couldn't do it. Anyways, I came second place.. first place was twin girls, I'm not even sure what their act was.. but I definitely remember it was twins and was annoyed that part of the reason I didn't come first was because I didn't have a twin.  My love of mermaids has stayed with me and my very first real life tattoo in fact was of a mermaid with red hair.. in homage to my love of the film. I think if I had my own private pool (where nobody could see me of course) I'd invest in one of those mermaid tails and attempt to swim in my pool with it.. or just lounge around by the side of the pool looking beautiful (well, sadly that part wouldn't happen.. more like a beached whale!) 

Anyway, when my friend ZoZo said she was doing zombie Disney outfits.. I was hoping there'd be an Ariel one and was super excited when she dropped this outfit on me. I had to show it to you guys.. even zombie Ariel looks awesome.

First up we have a combo of a hooded top paired with shorts, very tomboy-ish but super cute! It also has the best slogan on ever "Girls Rock" - so very true. Sorry boys, but you ain't got nothing on us girls! Only kidding.. you boys rock in your own way too! But since these are separate pieces you can mix and match with whatever you like!

The second picture features the most adorable shortalls I think I've ever seen. I knew as soon as I saw them that I wanted to blog them.. they're super girly, don't you think they're awesome too?!

Been to Woodland Gatcha yet? Lots of cute stuff there. I think I pretty much grabbed most of what I liked.

I went to Style Me today and bought loads of things too. I keep spending money, so not good! I'm going to be broke soon.. 

How cute is this rat on me head? This outfit works somehow.. and I'm not really a fan of green.. but whenever I go to gatcha events, I ALWAYS get green.

♥ Quirky Fairy ♥

The Luck of the Irish gatcha was awesome and I picked up loads of goodies.. I got the memo way too late and luckily just managed to pick up all the goodies I wanted before it closed. I dunno why I hadn't heard of this one.. I'm usually so up on my events! I'm slacking! 

Don't you just love it when an outfit comes together? You throw things on and it somehow works.. that's what happened with this look. It works and I love it. The hair I just had to have from Ploom and it's super cute for us ToddleeDoo's. I'm not usually a ponytail fan either, but this one just was too cute to pass up on. This outfit is adorable and is one I picked up from That's So Kyoot's sale. The accessories are pretty much all from Luck of the Irish gatcha event. I'm such a cute quirky fairy in this.
