Tomorrow it's Mothers Day in the UK. It's a difficult day for me.. in real life my mother passed away when I was 17 years old.. after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. I watched her deteriorate in front of my eyes and towards the end she was bedridden, couldn't move anything but her head and she didn't even know who I was. 
I loved her dearly. She was my best friend.
It's been a while since she died, seeing as I'm almost 29 now, but the pain doesn't disappear, it doesn't lessen. I didn't think I'd function after her death, we all knew it was coming and I was sure that I'd end up in a vegetative state not wanting to do anything. Life goes on though.. it's hard and painful, but it does go on. You have to. 
At the end of this post I'm linking to a song my sister and I picked that was played at her funeral. I can't listen to it without crying, so I probably won't be listening.. but I wanted to share. 
So this post is dedicated to my mother and anyone else who reads this who has lost their mother too.. and up is where we go from here. ♥

What better way than to go up than this awesome balloon ride (in picture #3) from Plethora. You can find this "Balloon Voyage" at The Liason Collaborative from the 15th March 2015 until 10th April 2015. 
You steer with your usual arrow controls and when you go up, the balloons on the side inflate.. and it even has sounds! I feel like I'm in the film "UP" when I sit in this.. so the title of the post only seemed right. It's 16 land impact.. you rez it out and sit on it (anyone can sit on it actually, not just the owner) so although it's fairly high on land impact, this is something you'd bring out once in a while for a fun little trip, not something you'd leave out.. unless you really have those prims to spare!

Have you been to La Boutique yet? If not, you should definitely go. I picked up so much cute stuff there.. including this adorable jumper from new store BunBun. There's actually several styles to pick up. I grabbed a few of the pink ones I liked! Because.. pink! I will be blogging more from that event soon.

I searched all over marketplace to find a pair of trousers that would go with my jumper.. and found these epic ones from Turducken. You get two pairs.. the colour you picked and a plain white pair - which worked out awesomely for this look. I love the 3D bubble bits on the bottom of the legs, so cute.

My hair is a group gift from Love Soul. There was (annoyingly) a large fee to join the group.. and even more irritating you have to wait around for your letter to appear on the group lucky board to obtain this style. I spent a few days in Love Soul waiting for my letter.. my mummy kept me company most of the time while I stood around waiting.. when it finally came around I was so excited! Then I realised it wasn't even the colour I wanted this style in! I waited for my letter to appear again.. and then ended up with this colour pack. It's still not the shade I want, but it'll do until I can be bothered to wait around again for the blonder shade. It's a super cute style though and was definitely worth the wait.

♥ Confronting Fears ♥

I have three adorable pictures to share in this blog post.. and it's all centered around confronting fears. The idea came to me when I saw this pose set from Little Moments.. 

Now, it might seem ridiculous to most people but I have a phobia of butterflies in real life. I don't like them at all and I can't explain where the irrational fear came from, I know how silly it sounds too. I have many fears and phobias and figured I need to start trying to confront them a little, even if it's just in Second Life, so I did.. by posing with butterflies. I think they turned out super cute and it made me appreciate the beauty of a butterfly, if only for a moment.

Yes, I'm wearing this hair from Olive again.. because I adore it. I'm also wearing this super cute romper I snatched up from Little Closet.. even if I did have to get up ridiculously early to be certain I got it before it sold out. I really love this romper but it does have a downside.. there's some stretching around the crotch area when I move around and it really distorts the texture and looks odd.. a little disappointing, but it won't stop me from wearing it because it's so pretty. My awesome sandals are from Noodles, found at this round of Collabor88.. I love that I can change the colour of the little stones on them to match my look. Oh and of course this sheep bag from Zenith made another appearance today.. it's so awesome.

♥ Teddy Bears Rock ♥

I wanted this outfit from Little Closet and Snips & Snails (at Limited 50) sooooo bad that I set an alarm to get me out of bed for it. When Limited 50 opened it was 8am for me (which is way early in my opinion, no human being should be up before midday.. just saying), so I logged on half asleep.. without a cup of tea even and desperately tried to get into the event. I was greeted by region full, which made my heart sink.. had I missed my opportunity?! Then thankfully after mashing tp a bunch of times I finally got in. The outfit sold out in a record 8 minutes after it opened, thankfully I was lucky enough to snag a copy. Lag meant I had to get the owner of Snips & Snails to resend me the pants though.. thankfully he was nice about it and sent them over promptly.

Cute, huh? Well worth getting up for.. and then falling back to sleep immediately after.

So, not much of an improvement from yesterday I'm afraid.. so, rather than go on and on about how depressing things are at the moment, I'm gonna just show off my outfit today.

This super adorable outfit is from Baby Pie, found at Limited 50. There probably aren't any of these left now as they were selling out fast when I picked mine up. I love the colours, the pink and floral.. I even adore the little boots and hairband.

Looking forward to the next gatcha events.. not sure when they're coming up, but I'm always excited about them. Got ages until The Arcade.. but there must be some kids ones coming up soon.

♥ Too Cute To Function ♥

Limited 50 is back and I rushed over there as soon as I could to grab up some of the goodies before they disappeared.. no, this post doesn't feature any of them.. but I just wanted to mention it in case anyone forgot (although they were selling out fast when I went) I managed to pick up an outfit from Baby Pie, a super cute mirror set from Buglets, awesome shoes from Snips and Snails and a custom mesh name frame from trinket. All in all it was an expensive but well worth it visit.

I later went shopping with my mummy too.. shopping is definitely a major thing in my Second Life and I'd be lost without it.

♥ Post Christmas ♥

Hey! Hope you all had an awesome Christmas both in Real Life and in Second Life.

In Real Life I was sick over Christmas, but I had anticipated I probably would be after visiting family. I always get sick when I see other people anyway, my immune system is crap! So I spent most of Christmas eve and Christmas day complaining that I didn't feel well and boxing day it all got too much and I couldn't even get out of bed. Every part of my body ached, I had a sore throat and cough.. and generally felt like death. Decided to sleep as long as possible on boxing day to try to fix it a bit and it worked.. felt loads better after an epic sleep. I did get some awesome presents though and I even made a birthday cake on Christmas eve for my SO who celebrates his birthday on Christmas eve.

In Second Life I didn't get to spend time with my family really.. which is kinda sad.. but I did get them both a present and was surprised when I logged in earlier to get a whopping 2500 linden gift card for Baby Pie. They know how much I love Baby Pie stuff! I was so surprised. My awesome friend ZoZo even managed to hide the fact that she got me the Baby Pie Limited 50 outfit that I was grumbling that I missed out on.. she had to hide the fact that she got it for me for Christmas and let me whine to her that I missed out! lol. Thanks again to my awesome parents and my awesome friend ZoZo.

None of my other friends bothered with presents and I didn't think they would.. it seems most people on my list these days are more acquaintances than friends. The people who I always have to message to talk to and they never message me.. makes me wonder if they even like me at all! Keep thinking I should remove the people on my list who I've unticked and made myself invisible to.. but haven't brought myself round to doing so. They've either deeply upset me or just bug me nonstop when I ask them not to. I can't be the only one to have those kind of people on their list.. lol. 

Ooh, random, but while I think of it.. if you haven't done so, head on down to KittyCatS main sim and click the last door on the advent calendar in the middle of the store to receive your FREE snowflake KittyCat. You do have to feed it, but it comes with a weeks worth of food to start you off. But if you're like me and you enjoy breeding them, this won't be a problem anyway. They are non transfer though, so sorry if you were thinking of picking one up for someone else.

Getting away from the Wintery posts today.. I still manage to blog a bit even though I've not been able to spend much time at all in Second Life really. I've been so busy in my real life trying to get sorted for Christmas. I'm really excited for it now! 

Speaking of Christmas, I'm going to make a gingerbread house in real life.. I sort of put myself forward for it and I've never made one before.. should be interesting. I'll post the outcome of that if it's something I'm actually proud of.. or, it's a complete mess and you'd all get a good laugh from it.

♥ Arctic Snow Days ♥

Don't you just hate it when you turn up to Limited 50 late?! I turned up late and my fav store Baby Pie had sold out. I did manage to pick up a few things, however, but irritatingly the few things I really did want were the ones that were sold out. 

I had to reason with myself when I was browsing Limited 50 too.. I really liked the dollhouse by AR and the dinosaur rocker (sorry it escapes me who made that off the top of my head) but I decided that they would just end up in my inventory and never get to see the light of day. I'm sure my parents don't want me to clutter up their house any more with my prims and I can't afford to just have a parcel just for my play items. I already pay for a parcel for my KittyCatS and my store *Awwdorable* and I struggle to keep those going! 

Even ended up buying custom trainers/sneakers/hi-tops (whatever you call them) Well, technically they're not made yet.. but I bought a form to get them made however I want which is pretty cool.. but I know if I really pulled a finger out I could have made them myself, so hopefully they'll do an epic job and put me to shame and it won't be just another of my impulse purchases that I end up regretting later on.

Anyway, decided to blog a different outfit from Baby Pie.. since I didn't get the one from Limited 50. -Cries pathetically- This one is Arctic Snow Days and is utterly cute, as usual.

I went to Limited 50 a little bit late and I couldn't get the outfit from Baby Pie as it was gone! Sadness! But I did manage to pick up some awesome boots from Marmelade. A few weren't even set up when I went.. so have to go back and see what is left, if anything!

That's So Kyoot had a sale, which was pretty exciting.. since I really love there at the moment.. I picked up a couple of things I liked. I also went over to Oh Daisies closing sale and picked up a couple of things too.. before it disappears forever!

These cute overalls are from Soken Kids. They might be "Emo" but I think I really rock them. I can't always be girly and wear pastels.. sometimes I want to express my dark side. I paired them with Baby Swag sneakers, which always come in handy when I need a shoe to fit a pants leg.. plus they're cute. I dunno why, but I felt like I needed to hold a pony.. sometimes you just do, right?

♥ Bean World ♥

My brother and I are being "reborn" so we're not adopted.. so our mummy is going through pregnancy to have us.. so right now we go around invisible next to her with a IC HUD thing typing things like: "Bean 1 makes you feel nauseous again." "Bean 2 flutters about in your tummy." Because right now we're technically no bigger than a bean and our sexes haven't been determined. It's quite hard RPing like that though.. we have a platform in the sky to be normal in, so for business purposes for me.. and so we can play Krafties etc.

Getting really excited about Tricky Treats Gatcha Village coming up on the 21st now. I'm looking forward to blogging it too!

Yay, yesterday Limited 50 kicked off again - so my brother and I went off and grabbed the goodies we liked. I picked up this adorable outfit from Petite Bowtique. I accessorized with a few unicorn related things. I got my brother to be my camera man today and he took these pictures in our new nursery and edited them up.. they're below. Thanks brother!

Oh yeah, at the bottom is one of my many Krafties. That's veggies my felion, he has a plant soul. I think I love the plant soul the most so far.. although I did make a volcanic soul last night and have yet to bond it with anything, so perhaps I shall change my mind shortly. If you've not played Krafties you should definitely go check it out and let it become your new addiction. My brother and I have got all our family hooked now.. -giggles-

♥ Autumn ♥

Kick up those leaves, it's Autumn/Fall. I love this time of year as it means Winter is on the way and Winter is my fav season. I thought the outfit choice today was very this season..

I really love this coat from Baby Pie.. so much so, in fact that I had to get it in 3 different colours. There were 6 to choose from, but I limited myself although I could quite easily have bought all 6 if I wasn't watching my bank account. The pants are also from Baby Pie and I don't usually buy separates unless they're super cute like these.. and I found that these separates went perfectly together. The boots are absolutely adorable and were from Marmelade, found at the Limited 50 event. 

I tried to do a darker picture.. so altered my windlight settings a bit to hopefully make it look more Autumnal. I'm not sure if I like it or not.. on the fence about it.

I think separates mean you can make a look more your own, so I'm seeing an advantage to this.. but my inventory doesn't like it particularly and I find mixing and matching really difficult since I'm partially colourblind in real life.

Mummy tried to get me enrolled everywhere for ballet, but couldn't find a Dance Studio to take me on right now.. so, mummy went out of her way and decided to try to teach me herself until I can enroll somewhere.

♥ Custom Princess ♥

My Uncle Nyo surprised me totally with a custom pose from ahoy, captain! I was beyond thrilled with it and naturally had to blog about it. It's the cutest ever. It's for one toddleedoo and one grownup, comes complete with a pink block with a "K" on it and a panda book.. all specially for me.

Although you can't buy this exact pose (as she doesn't sell the custom ones) you can request to have your own pose custom made and what she charges for this service is amazing. I have plans to definitely make the most of this service in the future.

To go with my custom pose I picked up a custom outfit from .click. at the very awesome Limited 50 event. It comes with 3 wand poses and 2 wands, one naughty/one nice. Such an awesome bargain and unique with only 50 copies being sold and customized with your own name too. So awesome.

♥ Happy Easter! ♥

Okay, so technically it's not really Easter yet.. but it's super soon.. so I wanted to share some of the Easter-y things I've found with you all.

Sad news first.. my daddy left us.. I won't go into too much detail because it's not fair to him, but it's left my mummy and me a bit shaken up. I guess now I won't be calling anyone daddy until mummy finds someone else who wants to take on that role.. 

Now the super cool news, my mummy got a car! We had so much fun driving about.. and don't worry, mummy got me a car seat. Cars and sim crossings = a hilarious combination. If the car wasn't stuck at the sim crossing, it was falling through the ground and if that wasn't happening we were flying into space, or rolling around for ages.. either until it corrected itself or I relogged. I can tell you now I'm going to want mummy to drive me everywhere though because it was so funny. At one point after a sim crossing, I got hurled through the sky in my car seat.. while the car went the other way.. lol! It's a really fun car for roleplay too because it requires gas/fuel to run. If it runs out, mummy has to get out and push.. which is also hilarious.

♥ Kaci's Play House ♥

Mummy and I had been looking for something for the garden for me to play with.. and I wasn't really than keen on any of the playgrounds we had looked at. So, when I saw the Shabby Shed at the Limited 50 event I knew I had to have it for the garden. My mummy was kind enough to get it for me and it's awesome! It comes complete with all the furniture, fence, picture frames etc. It was easy to set up and isn't too much land impact, compared to a lot of the play houses we looked at. It can be less land impact if you decorate it yourself probably.. as the shed is only 8 land impact on it's own. But I kept all the original decorations and even tried to recreate the layout I'd seen when I went to see a demo of it at Petite Bowtique. But hurry if you want it, because there were only about 34 copies left after I bought it..

I saw a mother and daughter outfit at Baby Pie again and so wanted my mummy to pose with me once more.. but I felt bad that I kept making mummy buy the same one just to indulge me, so I bought it for her this time. Thank you mummy for indulging me again and posing for another set of pictures.

I took some creative liberty with these pictures.. playing around in Photoshop.. so if they seem a bit weird that's probably why.

♥ Life's a beach ♥

Being super bored, I decided that I'd go for a stroll around the community roleplay sim we live on and see what was about.. that's when I remembered that we have a beach. Mummy took me to it once before.. but I'd not been paying attention on how we got there (And the sim keeps changing around)

So, after aimlessly wandering around the sim looking for the beach on my own.. I gave up and jumped into the group chat for the sim asking for help on how to get there. Luckily everyone was super nice and gave me lots of information on how to make my way to it. But.. have you ever had that where someone gives you really detailed instructions on how to get somewhere and yet you still were completely confused? Yeah.. that happened to me. After thanking everyone for being helpful (and not admitting that I was still completely confused) I probably ambled off in entirely the wrong direction trying to look for the beach.

Finally after much camming around (I got tired of walking.. as it's so big) I finally found the beach and thought I needed a well deserved break. So, I laid on a towel someone had thoughtfully left behind and soaked up some sun and had a long hard think about all the things on my mind.
