I decided to dress up.. in an attempt to try to take my mind off The Arcade for a bit.. and what better way to do that than to dress up as a ladybug? Or a ladybird if you're in the UK like I am.. don't ask me why they call them birds, I really have no idea. 

Anyways... this adorable costume is from Viv.a! Kids. I love all the little details on it, the wings are super cute... so cute that I had to provide a view from the back too. I grabbed my fairy companion from Ohmai and we had us a little flying session in the forest clearing on our sim.

♥ Rainbows Make me Smile ♥

Title stolen from the name of this awesome outfit from Little Nerds. Super cute frilly little shorts which come in a few different colours, but I went with pink, it also comes with this cute shirt with the epic "Rainbows Make me Smile" motif. 
I paired it with these adorable little pink and white studded boots from Viv.a! Kids.. and then accessorized with a cute necklace (that's totally free!) from Heffalumps.. just go to the in world store and see! Finished off the look with the pretty star nail polish from ZOZ KIDS.

I love this hair from Olive and it worked perfectly with this look today, along with the rainbow wings.. also from Olive.

My skin is lighter today. I decided to be brave and go lighter with the snow tone of my usual Alice skin from FreshFace.

I love dressing up in costumes and things.. it's such good fun! 

So when I saw that Viv.a! Kids had an Alice in Wonderland costume I already had a setup in mind for a picture and was really pleased with the outcome. Look how cute this little costume is! 

Viv.a! Kids have a few different costumes to pick from too, not just Alice. I wish more stores did costumes.. there's something fun about playing dress up I think.

♥ Paris ♥

Today I have to show you this super cute top from Minuet, found at Woodland Gatcha.. I teamed with this amazing skirt from Soken Kids. I think a little black skirt is a staple for any wardrobe and goes with so much! It's really cute and has a little tied part at the front. The quality of Soken meshes are awesome.. definitely need to check them out if you've not already done so.

This hair from Truth, found at this round of Collabor88, needs to be commented on too.. it's just so pretty. It comes with an unrigged version, so you can get it to fit ToddleeDoo. It does look a little big in the back and some animations it will clip slightly (as seen in this picture) but it's just too adorable not to have.

Check out this cute necklace from Half Deer too, found at this round of Chapter Four.. and the adorable whale from MishMish, which squirts water when clicked, found at this round of Collabor88.

This bracelet from Izzie's gets a thumbs up too.. I found it at The Dressing Room. I love it. It has so many words that you can put onto it (can even have it say Bacon if you want) and it was a bargain steal at only 70 lindens.

I know.. so many awesome events going on right now, it's enough to make your head spin and your wallet empty. They are definitely worth checking out though.

I find it really hard to come up with titles, so today's is also the title of one of my current tunes I have on repeat.. like right now. It's Kiesza - Hideaway. I've linked to the video at the bottom.. I never usually do that, but it's too good not to share. I love the dancing in it and it's so darn catchy! It's like the 90's are back.. but with an 80's feel. Love it.

Anyway, this outfit is from somewhere I don't usually shop (Bunny Boutique by Leigh).. actually this might be my first purchase from there.. but I couldn't resist as it's panda related and was up for grabs for 50 linden Friday. Super cute. I love the stockings.. they just made it that much more awesome. I was a bit sad that it didn't include shoes though and since I didn't actually have anything in my inventory that looked right with it I ended up without shoes. I know, me not having something to go with it?! That's just weird, right? Oh well, still rocking this look without shoes!

The hair is the new hair from Magika. It's called "Reading" and it's so pretty. I love it. It's tied up at the back and curly in the front.

My SL mummy is back now from her holiday.. yay.. it was nice to have someone with me trying to get into Collabor88 too. I got a couple of things from there, this round is much better for your grownup avis though.

Necklace is from Cute Poison and bracelet was from a gatcha at Petite Bowtique.. nails are from CutieCakes. How you choose to accessorize this outfit is down to personal taste though.. hard to go wrong really.
This look kinda reminds me of Minnie Mouse a little bit.. perhaps it could be paired with some mouse ears for that effect!

I lost a family member in Second Life yesterday.. and it has kinda felt a bit like a death in a weird way. I thought they were awesome, but their lies just got too much. If they ever read this, which is doubtful, then I'm sorry I cut you out.. but I had to for my own sanity. Maybe if you apologised to my mum for what you have done and waved a white flag in defeat and admit you screwed up and why you tried to cover your tracks.. maybe we can talk some day. But, since I don't see that happening and you've tried not to contact me since I removed you from my friends list etc.. I guess you don't care all that much.

And with that depressing tidbit out the way, I have to show off this cute look I put together! I love it. The whole outfit was based around this super cute rain coat outfit I picked up from Babysteps, found at Style Me. I put some adorable lady bug geek glasses on from Tiddleywinks (if you can't see there's little lady bugs all over the frames.. cute!) and a red umbrella from Cute Bytes (that I got near Christmas) went with it perfectly. Even my nails from CutieCakes are covered with little lady bugs! I went a little lady bug mad.. although I keep wanting to call them lady birds. Here in the UK lady bugs are called lady birds.. don't ask me why.. I personally think lady bugs makes more sense!

If you've not been to Chapter Four yet.. go, go, go.. there's cute kitties from the very awesome Birdy/Alchemy to be had! I got the rare one second try.. woohoo! I have a boy and a girl kitty to watch over me now. They are sooooo cute.. easy to stretch to any size you want too which means you can have a teeny tiny kitty to accompany you or a monster of a kitty. Personally I went small.. good things come in small packages after all!

This outfit is just lovely from The Blossom. I'm not usually a huge fan of system layered clothing.. but when it's done this well, you can't help but fall in love with it. I love the detail on the pants and the little wrap around sweater is fab.

♥ Under the Rainbow ♥

So, yeah, it's that time again for Woodland Gatcha.. and as you can no doubt tell from this picture.. I went and grabbed a few goodies. I don't even think it's all out yet as I saw some empty spots, but regardless.. I grabbed as much as I could and got out!

I also went over to MishMish to pick up this adorable huggable doll.. I'm guessing it's to do with the new movie with Angelina Jolie, but, even if it's not.. it's so cute! Only 100 lindens and you get a little stamp book with it for the Enchanted Event. After you get your stamp book, you just go to 20 places that are participating and click the stamp thingo and boom.. you got a stamp in your book! Then once you got all 20 stamps you go to the prize room and pick out a prize. I picked out the crown and necklaces from O.M.E.N as they are resizable and super cute. You can find out all about it and get instructions on what to do, here: Enchantment in SL If you want more than one prize though, you may have to run through and do this a couple of times. Once was enough for today! 

Also.. because I've been asked three times now on whether I'm eating a corndog below (I had to actually ask someone what a corndog was) I want to clear up that it's a vanilla ice cream from this May's Woodland Gatcha from Say Cheese.
