♥ Shopaholic? Me? ♥

I've been busy experimenting in Blender today, thought it would take my mind off my extremely painful tooth extraction site. I've been popping painkillers like there's no tomorrow.. even taking ibuprofen and paracetamol together, it's still agony! I've booked an appointment to see the dentist in a couple of days.. so hopefully it gets better before then so I don't have to go! Anyways, yeah, I've been dealing with the headache of making my own mesh in order to distract me from my pain.. I've given up for now though. I uploaded 6 or so different models to the beta test grid and each time found a new part that was clipping into my body on the clothing.. so I gave up for now and decided to blog instead. At least I understand how to do that!

So.. anyways.. I haven't blogged Heffalumps in a while, so today I decided I'd pull out an adorable outfit from Heffalumps called "Tribal Lion" there's a lion on the shirt (which is hidden by my awesome sign from Intrigue Co. which is available at The Arcade right now) I love the texture work on the pants in particular!

Check out this cute new mesh head (Baby Mesh Head #3 - MINA) from Cute Bytes, which you can grab at Hello Beautiful right now. As usual it comes with a HUD that you can change your facial expressions with.. change your mouth and your eyes for all sorts of fun face combinations and these heads make for some amusing snaps. You can even get a skin for it from Cute Bytes at this round of Hello Beautiful too, it's called "Mimi Skin" which I have on with it. It will work with any other mesh head compatible skins though.

♥ I'm back! ♥

Hey everyone!

It's been a little while since my last post but that's because lots was going on in real life.. mostly being the fact that I moved house. While it's still a sea of boxes everywhere.. at least I have an Internet connection and can get online when I'm not busy with house stuff. 

I decided to do a picture for The Arcade, which ended up being this blog post.. figured why not combine the two?! I was supposed to not be blogging this round of Hello Beautiful.. but a couple of days ago I had a tooth extracted in real life and I'm feeling pretty miserable so I figured that I'd pull out some of the goodies from Hello Beautiful and put them in this post in an attempt to cheer me up. Plus.. who can resist when lovely creators still drop their items on me despite the fact that I was supposed to be out of this round!

First up I have the ABRONZATISSIMA SunBurn - Tattoo from Cute Bytes (available at this round of Hello Beautiful) to talk about. I'm wearing it in the pics below.. it comes with a HUD and several face options so you can choose a setting which fits you best. I'm wearing the red one, because when I get burnt I go red and it's usually really painful and peels.. and then I don't tan. Other choices included are carrot, hot and tan. Perfect for the upcoming hot weather.

These awesome Glam Summer GLASSES from *BABY* are HUD activated and have 8 different lens tints to choose from (clear through to black) and you can pick from a choice of 10 frame colours! What a bargain! They have pretty little flowers on the frames too. Very stylish! You can grab your pair at this round of Hello Beautiful right now. 

I'm sitting here blowing bubbles in my awesome Bubble Pipe from Tikkels. There are 3 different kinds available at Hello Beautiful: pink, dot or blue (which I have on) They're a funky little accessory.. lay back and enjoy the sun and blow some bubbles while looking cool.

My nails are painted with Summer Ombre Nails from Buglets, which have a HUD with 6 different colours to pick from. I've got on the lightest blue ones, but there's a few different summery colours and one is bound to suit you. These are available at Hello Beautiful now too.

Lastly from Hello Beautiful (for this post anyway) are these epic wearable pools from Tic Tot Toe. Lots of different colours to choose from and because they're wearable you don't need to have rez rights anywhere.. just wear and lounge around in the pool anywhere you like! I love that it has a silly little walk in it too if you try to walk with it attached. So cute. There's a video at the end showing it off, courtesy of Tic Tot Toe. I'm loving chilling out in my pool.. now.. where's the waiter? I need another refill!

♥ Up is where we go from here ♥

*Warning, depressing block of text ahead.. skip it if you just want the outfit info!

Tomorrow it's Mothers Day in the UK. It's a difficult day for me.. in real life my mother passed away when I was 17 years old.. after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. I watched her deteriorate in front of my eyes and towards the end she was bedridden, couldn't move anything but her head and she didn't even know who I was. 
I loved her dearly. She was my best friend.
It's been a while since she died, seeing as I'm almost 29 now, but the pain doesn't disappear, it doesn't lessen. I didn't think I'd function after her death, we all knew it was coming and I was sure that I'd end up in a vegetative state not wanting to do anything. Life goes on though.. it's hard and painful, but it does go on. You have to. 
At the end of this post I'm linking to a song my sister and I picked that was played at her funeral. I can't listen to it without crying, so I probably won't be listening.. but I wanted to share. 
So this post is dedicated to my mother and anyone else who reads this who has lost their mother too.. and up is where we go from here. ♥

What better way than to go up than this awesome balloon ride (in picture #3) from Plethora. You can find this "Balloon Voyage" at The Liason Collaborative from the 15th March 2015 until 10th April 2015. 
You steer with your usual arrow controls and when you go up, the balloons on the side inflate.. and it even has sounds! I feel like I'm in the film "UP" when I sit in this.. so the title of the post only seemed right. It's 16 land impact.. you rez it out and sit on it (anyone can sit on it actually, not just the owner) so although it's fairly high on land impact, this is something you'd bring out once in a while for a fun little trip, not something you'd leave out.. unless you really have those prims to spare!

Have you been to La Boutique yet? If not, you should definitely go. I picked up so much cute stuff there.. including this adorable jumper from new store BunBun. There's actually several styles to pick up. I grabbed a few of the pink ones I liked! Because.. pink! I will be blogging more from that event soon.

I searched all over marketplace to find a pair of trousers that would go with my jumper.. and found these epic ones from Turducken. You get two pairs.. the colour you picked and a plain white pair - which worked out awesomely for this look. I love the 3D bubble bits on the bottom of the legs, so cute.

My hair is a group gift from Love Soul. There was (annoyingly) a large fee to join the group.. and even more irritating you have to wait around for your letter to appear on the group lucky board to obtain this style. I spent a few days in Love Soul waiting for my letter.. my mummy kept me company most of the time while I stood around waiting.. when it finally came around I was so excited! Then I realised it wasn't even the colour I wanted this style in! I waited for my letter to appear again.. and then ended up with this colour pack. It's still not the shade I want, but it'll do until I can be bothered to wait around again for the blonder shade. It's a super cute style though and was definitely worth the wait.

♥ Superheroes ♥

Things happened over this weekend, in real life, that tested me greatly.. I had to deal with someone who was extremely rude and nasty to me.. and it was totally not warranted. Especially since this individual didn't know me, my circumstances or anything. He had no right to say them without knowing all the facts. I keep going over the events that played out in my head and wish that I had stood up for myself now.. imagining myself saying things I wish I had said but didn't. How I wish I told him exactly what I thought of what he was saying and how totally wrong he was.. and how upset he had made me because of what he had said. In reality though I just sat there and took the abuse.. trying my hardest not to cry. I even started to block out what they were saying just so I didn't absorb any more of it. I hate when you're upset and all you can think of is trying not to let them see you're upset.. so I kept repeating in my head, "Don't cry.. don't cry.. don't cry" even though I could feel my eyes welling up. I kind of wish I had cried now though.. maybe this "so called professional" would have realised his error and that he can't get away with saying that to someone who is as emotionally fragile as I am.

Anyway, to combat this awful weekend I've had.. I'm going to attempt to shake it off and get some strength from deep within myself.. and be a Superhero. I can do this thanks to this fun outfit from ToddleTeeZ, which is available at Woodlands this month. It comes with a belt buckle option too for the guys, so they can be shirtless.. but for us girlies.. we need to cover up a bit more. I'm particularly loving the fact that there are two super hero poses to get too (as shown below) The shield and headband are particularly nice additions to this outfit. A great outfit!

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 5 - Part 5 ♥

In this post I shall be continuing showing off some more of the fabulous items available at this round of Hello Beautiful. 

Today I have gone for a casual fairy look.. my mummy described this look as a "hippy love child.." while my real life fiancee was like, "Oh cool, you're a hippy fairy!" So.. I guess that's what I am? Either way I like this look.. it's different.

I'm wearing a shape from Petite Bowtique, which you can find at Hello Beautiful. It's called "Luna" and there are three different sizes included.. which is perfect for growing up with. I am wearing the 2 year old shape. It's a pretty shape, even if it is a tiny bit taller than what I'm used to.

The face tattoo I'm wearing is from Purretes. There are many different ones to be acquired from a gatcha at Hello Beautiful. They all have a fantasy element to them.. so there's lots of different looks you can put together from them. I'm wearing "Fantasy Face 1" 

My long flowing locks are from Snowflake Designs, found at.. you guessed it.. Hello Beautiful. These are rigged mesh, specially for ToddleeDoo. They are in a gatcha too so you can get lots of different colours and swap and share with your friends.. or try your luck and get one of the rares. It has a flower on the side of the hair too, which is pretty cute.

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 5 - Part 4 ♥

Slowly getting through my Hello Beautiful posts! Thought I'd take a break from my cats 4th birthday to blog some more. I can't believe my fur baby is 4 years old now.. they grow up so fast! -tear- Yes, I am a crazy cat lady. Moving on.

I'm in a freckle frenzy today.. wearing some cute freckles from Tic Tot Toe. These are available at this round of Hello Beautiful. They even work with mesh heads! Bonus. There are three types too.. light, medium and dark.. and you can even get ones with blush. A must have if you want freckles and the skin you love doesn't come with them.

How adorable is this pacifier from Petite Bowtique? It's the RARE Princess one from the gatcha at Hello Beautiful. It's pink and girly.. and has sparkly particles. There are tons of different ones to collect. 

I'm wearing glittery nails from Enchanted Bowtique called "Pixie dust" these ones are rare. The rare one you get all the colours. These are available at Hello Beautiful too.

My mummy got me this fantastic bedroom set from Sugar & Spice. It's at the Woodlands right now.. you can get the full set for 750 lindens. This is just part of the set that you can see.. it's a really adorable set.

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 5 - Part 2 ♥

Okay, so I lied.. I decided to do another post tonight. I'll continue tomorrow though! 

I'm wearing awesome eyes and wings from *BABY* which are available at this months "Hello Beautiful" You can change the wire of the wings with the HUD and resize them if you desire. The eyes come with regular and mesh versions.. with different size iris depending on your preference. I'm wearing the smallest one.

My shape and skin are also at this round of "Hello Beautiful" - they're called "Gwen Skin & Shape" and are from Sugar & Spice. This shape and skin set is absolutely adorable! I've already had compliments on it.. I was even asked if I was wearing a mesh head a couple of times. This skin set does come with a mesh head applier though, but I just wanted to show off the awesomeness of the shape without it today. Very cute!

Check out my epic ears from Tikkels! You can find these too at "Hello Beautiful" - if you haven't guessed already there's tons of awesome things to be found there. These ears come with a HUD, so you can play around and match up your skin with a little bit of fiddling. There's also a few preset skin tones if you don't fancy messing around too much. You can also change the little gems on the ears! So awesome! They don't come with an alpha though.. but I got around this by using one I already had for ears. On a mesh head you can just disable your ears though and not have to worry about the alpha issue.

I'm wearing another necklace from ToddleTeeZ! These are available at "Hello Beautiful" in a gatcha. The one I have on is "Love" and even says so on it. Many different ones to collect! They're sparkly and pretty. 

If you couldn't tell already I got a few bits from "The Arcade" - amazingly I've not stepped foot in there though. I've bought things from yardsales and off my friend ZoZo. Still managed to spend quite a bit though! Completed my MishMish collection, so I was happy getting the whole set of those adorable pugs.

♥ Winter Kitty Cutie ♥

It's been a busy few days.. this weekend has been manic and I've hardly been able to be on Second Life at all.. lots of preparing for Christmas in real life. It's been pretty crazy. Luckily I have five minutes and thought I'd blog before I get to wrapping some more presents up.

I absolutely adore this outfit I've put together! So much so that I took three pics to share with you all. I was naughty and spoiled myself with a few things from Turducken and Little Closet. Tis the season of giving.. to myself.. apparently. 
With this adorable look I put on some super cute tights from Lil Big Me, which can be found at this round of Woodlands. These are the RARE kitten tights and they are just purrfect. Find these and other colours at the Woodlands gatcha event.

Shush.. they are sleeping! -Giggles- But in all seriousness.. how cute are these arctic foxes from Ispachi? I love them.. I love the whole collection at The Arcade actually. I really wanted the rare one.. but sadly it wasn't meant to be.. guess it really is rare! I nearly got the whole collection though.. so I can't grumble too much. 

These jeans from Tiny Trinkets are so nicely textured, the rips on them look very realistic. So awesome. I love them so much! Not only do they look amazing, they are super long too, perfect for mooching around the house in bare feet if you felt like it.

This scarf from Dash of Dulce is completely free at Woodlands right now. I love nice freebies! Sadly a lot of freebies I pick up I end up putting in the trash because they are.. well.. for lack of a better word.. poo. I feel a freebie should be of good quality because good ones will be kept and remembered and if they love the quality of a designers work then they'll seek out the designer again when they want to make a purchase. This scarf is definitely not going in the trash.. I'm gonna rock it with pride. ♥

♥ Punky Fox ♥

Only 20 days to go until Christmas! I am getting super excited now as I get more and more organised for it. I've got all my presents in real life sorted out, so that's a huge weight lifted. I just need to tackle my Second Life presents now.. although I picked up one today for my mummy.

This weekend, in real life, we're going to be getting a tree.. we decided we want a real one again this year. I think my sisters kids are visiting tomorrow so it'd be nice for them to see a real tree in someones living room (opposed to the artificial ones they are used to) It will be my second real tree.. I grew up with artificial ones too and my fiance grew up with real ones, so we compromise a little now. If he feels like he wants a real tree, we have one.. on one condition - he deals with it. He hoovers up any needles the thing drops. I do not have time for that.. especially when our cat loves to get in the tree, eat the tree, eat the tinsel, smack the baubles off etc.. that's enough for me to deal with.. he's a little nightmare. I'm a bit worried this year because he's now big enough to have the whole thing over if he wants. All fun and games! 

Anyways, onto the whole point of this post.. this adorable foxy outfit from Heffalumps. It comes in other colours too if pink is not your thing (pink is totally my thing at the moment, if you hadn't noticed already) It is really cute with the fox design.. and I'm loving the skirt and tights. They are very nicely textured. A fabulous complete outfit for baby ToddleeDoo avatars.

I've punked my avatar up with this hair from Tableau Vivant, which I got at this current round of The Arcade. It re-sizes awesomely to fit us and comes with optional earmuffs. The ones I got with this one were teddies.. if they had been fox earmuffs that would have totally worked for this outfit, but alas I'm sure the teddy ones will work for something else some other time.

I'm still rocking the skin from Bad Seed Boutique, which you can find at Hello Beautiful. It's awesome. I'm also wearing the teeth also from Bad Seed Boutique.. which can be found at All the little things. Love them so much.. look at them little teethies! So cute!

Are you sick of my snowy pictures yet? I hope not, because I'm loving doing them.. I'm experimenting again with darker ones (uh oh!) I know.. I know.. if it ain't broke don't fix it.. but I like learning new things and trying different styles out.

♥ Pia-pia-piano! Piano! Piano! ♥

I think we all need some time to relax a little.. it's so easy to get yourself stressed out with the holiday festivities coming up and just real life in general. 
Breathe. 
I think that's what we all need to do.. just breathe and take a break to unwind. Sit back with a drink and enjoy my post! ♥

Now onto my epic look of the day! I'm wearing a cute shirt from Soken Kids which has on the front "The moon walkers magic" - I'm not a hundred percent sure what that means but I think it's cute and quirky, therefore it rocks. It also fits baby and kid ToddleeDoo avatars, which is always a huge plus. 

Check out my amazing hat from Tic Tot Toe! I am in awe of this hat.. is there nothing it can't do?! It makes noise, it shoots out snowflake particles randomly and it looks really cute. This one (wich is a rare) and lots of other ones are out now at Woodlands. Go grab one, they're so cool! 

Now onto something seriously awesome from SugaBees. A piano. It's not just a piano for looks though.. it's an actual fully working piano. You can press each key individually with a click of your mouse and it makes sound! There's even a HUD included so you can play that way instead (which is admittedly a little easier I found) I think if you have a touch screen monitor you're gonna have a blast with this (also I'm seriously jealous). There's also links to youtube lessons included! Some lessons can even be done with two people (if they both have a piano) which is perfect for playing along with a friend.. or a school could use this and make it part of their lesson plan. Great roleplay tool. It would work perfectly for that as it's so interactive. It's only 4 land impact too, so it's not going to hog all your prims! I'm seriously loving playing with this.. this has got to be my new fave toy. The version I'm using is LIFE compatible, but there's ones that work for other HUDs too or even just grab yourself a regular one that doesn't work with any HUD if you're not fussed about that side of things. This piano has it all. A seriously fun item. I'm proud to have this in my bedroom now. Check out SugaBees for this piano and lots of other cool items. ♥

♥ Hello Beautiful - Round 2 - Part 2 ♥

-Wipes sweat from brow- Phew.. I told you I'd get around to showing off more stuff soon. It's been a long hard day, I'm tired... so this will probably be it for today and I'll continue showing off some more tomorrow. 
It's been a bit manic what with it being Cyber Monday, so I've been shopping real life sales online.. it also took me 3 hours to get into The Arcade (but it was totally worth it!) I also went over to Woodlands Gatcha and All the Little Things.. so I've been busy busy busy. I put out some of my Arcade extras here if you're interested (just click the here bit)

Anyways.. up first we have a totally adorable mesh head from Cute Bytes, which you can find at this round of Hello Beautiful. Just when I thought the mesh heads couldn't get any more cute this one comes out. This one is called "Baby Mesh Head #2 - BOOBOO" and is a bargain at the promo price of 199L$. It's compatible with skin appliers for ToddleeDoo and even comes with a tattoo. If you can recall the last one I blogged was animated.. well.. so is this one! I love how there's even gestures that work with it which will trigger the facial animations off.. or you could just click the HUD too, which is really easy to work out. 

I'm wearing an adorable new outfit called "Emily" from Minuet. I'm wearing the pink from the pastels pack.. you know what I'm like, pink crazy. I teamed it with some awesomely cute mittens from Minuet too, which you can find at this round of Woodlands. I love this outfit so much, it's pretty and can be easily turned into a wintery look too.

Next up I'm sporting winter face and breath from Little Nerds, which you can grab at this round of Hello Beautiful. The winter face is so cute, truly makes you look like you've been out in the cold for a while. The winter breath is pretty awesome, every so often you'll "breathe" and because of the cold you'll see your breath! I tried numerous times to catch this in action so I could upload a picture to show you all, but I failed spectacularly.. but trust me.. it's epic. I'm also wearing "Doll Eyes - Ice Blue Winter" from Little Nerds, which are at Hello Beautiful too. 

I've gone Little Nerds overboard with this look, since not only am I wearing all that and a skin from Little Nerds.. but I'm wearing a really funny Christmas outfit from Little Nerds too. It's called "Potter Christmas Outfit" and the text on the front made me giggle. It's hard not to sing it out loud.

I'm also rocking an awesome hat from Tiny Trinkets. Not only is it incredibly festive being a santa hat but it has sounds in it! I won't spoil it more than that.. but it's great! ♫

Next we have some more items from Hello Beautiful. This time from Twig. I'm wearing cute antlers, skin with brows and freckles, an eyebrow shaper, eyes, lashes and teeth all from Twig. I love the little freckly face this skin has.. it's lovely. 

I'm wearing a very wintery outfit from Viv.a! Kids called "Kids Tula Winter-White" it comes with sweater, pants HUD and the really cute pink boots. It fits baby ToddleeDoo's. I had to team it with mittens from Minuet again (this time pink ones) because they're just really pretty and go really nicely with snuggly warm looks like this.

Last but not least nails from my own store, Awwdorable, which can be found at the Hello Beautiful event right now. The candy cane nails are 100L$ for a set of 8 and the Christmas Nails are only 25L$ a go! Cheap as chips!
